I believe plenty of university students the world over have got in trouble for doing just that. It is kind of funny because if they'd gone to the references section and then viewed and cited THOSE sites they would have been just fine... Well the thing is, I don't think scamming is against the rules in that game. It is so heavily focused on trade that I think they see scamming as part of the game, and that it's your fault if you fall for it.

What are you trying to connect with? Does the hotel charge for access? What sort of security does it use? What wifi standard is it using? Where are you in relation to the access point? Are you moving around? You can't expect us to be able to solve any problem without at least SOME information. It's like me posting saying "my internet connection isn't working - help me".
