It is indeed easy. It just comes up shortly after POST asking which OS you want to boot. In my opinion XP x64 isn't worth it. A friend of mine used it and he said there were plenty of programs which were incompatible and it was really hard to find drivers.

You need to have a directx 7 compatible graphics card - not just directx version 9. You need to find out what graphics card you have. Start > run > "dxdiag" > display tab.

If you have 4 slots you can have 4 sticks... You'd need to look up your motherboard's details to find out what the maximum capacity is though. It is no good having 4 slots and trying to fill them with 1GB sticks when your motherboard only supports up to 2GB in total.

This is just an idea, not necessarily a suggestion. It may have problems and I haven't thought it through. This is a post to solicit opinions. On the somethingawful.com forums (which admittedly don't have so many young users), when someone is put on probation (temp ban) a message is edited into the post that warranted the probation saying "User was put on probation for this post". This allows others to see what sort of posting is discouraged - rather than them having to interpret the rules for themselves. As it stands, the other users won't know if the post just warranted a lock/edit or if it was bad enough to warrant a warning or ban. I'd like to see this on tipit when someone is warned or banned. Seeing as a mod usually intervenes and posts a message to the effect of "don't do that" it wouldn't be much effort to instead edit the user's post and add the "User was warned for this post". Not only would it serve to show other users exactly what kind of posting is discouraged, it would also be a form of minor castigation. Speak your brains.

An alpha particle is a Helium nucleus. Which is a particle. It has nothing to do with waves or rays. Google define's definition of alpha particle Guess what? All of them refer to it as a particle because that's what it is. Even if you search google define for alpha ray you'll see it described as a particle. Yet again: alpha particles have nothing to do with waves, mechanical or electromagnetic. They don't behave like waves, they behave like particles. Because that's what they are. When will you admit you're wrong?
