1canadian1
Michael Richards aka Kramer from Seinfeld was performing at the "Laugh Factory" IN Los Angeles when a person interupts his show and Kramer spazzes with all these racist remarks against black people and how they would of got a fork up their @##, etc. It's been all over the news, and internet and can be found on http://www.youtube.com under Kramer racism. Warning, SWEARING IS INVOLVED! RSN: Zammyftw ^^The girl that ruined music.
Zonorhc
Oh noes, racism. The heckler deserved it. There's a bit of racial insensitivity but it's hardly anything to flip out about. Seriously, if this sort of thing actually makes headlines, you know that the world is fine because people are still dumb enough to get worked up about it. The only way to stop "racism" is to not get so damn offended when you hear someone insult someone else that happens to be of a different color. Hell, if a black guy calls another black guy that same word, they are just joking, right? It's not offensive, of course not! But, when a white guy says it... you better watch out! That's a racial slur buddy. Zonorhc Completly sumed it up for me. People need to stop getting worked up over words, and think about what the actual problem is. An insult is an insult, no matter what race you are.
Aus_Fighter
So, the black guy that interupted his show and, as well, used "racial slurs"(Cracker is pretty much the same idea as that...other word.) is just a victim, right? I think they are both in the wrong... But of course if a white man calls a black man what was said in that video it will cause a fuss, Maybe it should, maybe not but thats what happens But really if people can accept what happens in that video as an everyday thing i am shocked :-k Respect- Oy_the_Great, Lode, Bubsa, Weezcake, Thrash111, Gloric, Vmser, Pianofrieak2, Runemetsa Sigs Made By - Pink
____
I pretty much agree with Zonorhc and Nadril. What's more - is that racism happens all the time. Ironically, nothing major tends to happen about it, until someone famous / well-known makes a slip and then people are all "omg racist - damnation to hell" and all this other rubbish :uhh:
How2PK
I didn't think it was that bad. It was pretty funny. Hell, it's a theater show. These guys shouldn't moan so much. Here in Holland you've got guys [bleep]ing of on stage thinking of our Queen. Oh, wait. I thought the part of the fork up your behind was part of the show and the guy that complained after that was the heckler. because that was what youtube showed. But before that there was somebody complaining already. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Mercifull
Isnt he whole point of comedy about taking the p out of some group or another. Nads right, its not the word thats racist its what's implied by it. Like the way that "queer" has been reclaimed by homosexuals and is not considered offensive black people can do the same. Bubsa
So, the black guy that interupted his show and, as well, used "racial slurs"(Cracker is pretty much the same idea as that...other word.) is just a victim, right? Difference is, the heckler is someone who makes fun of past their sell by date celebrities. No-one's gonna give a damn what he said in the matter. This is how much you all raised for charity. Faux
What's so taboo about the word [racist term] anyway? Black people use it everyday. What makes them so special that it should be banned for every other ethnicity? Oh yeah, they were slaves.. wait no, they have never seen a grain of soil in Africa nor am I one of the white people that oppressed them. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
Guest GhostRanger
The comedian lost it but I don't really think this is an issue of racism anymore than calling someone a b*itch is an issue of sexism. Sure, the word has racist connotations but the issue is that he was mad so he was calling them names. Racism would be more accurately portrayed if he was calling them that when he wasn't really pissed off. Was he out of line? Of course. But is this an issue of racism? I don't really think so. Just the insult he chose.

How2PK
Well, as it wasn't part of the show but just an insult to a heckler, I don't think it's a good thing. So yea, it's racist and it was meant to harm somebody. It's good that he appologized though. And I bet he didn't do it to save his own skin, he looked very sincere. Anesthesia
this is an issue of racism anymore than calling someone a b*itch is an issue of sexism. Tigra00
The heckler deserved to get told off, but not in that sense. I saw the video and it was funny until he started yelling the N word over and over. He had a point that made it funny, as a comedian, when he said "50 years ago you would have been hanging upside down from a tree, and now you've got the right to talk so you come in here and heckle me." or something like that. He could have done it with much more class and made the guy look like a complete fool, but instead he just made himself look like a racist idiot. Not like it matters. Who really cares about THAT guy these days? I mean, he's performing at the Laugh Factory...The only people who go there are relatively unknown comics and washed-up comics, lol. ForsakenMage
At least he got himself to make an apology and not have a publicist do it for him. To me, that just means more. Some criticize that his apology stunk and that it could've been better. However, they missed the point that he he at least made such an apology, and hopefully his PR skills will eventually hone in to make a "better apology" if he desires. We've seen that Mel Gibson apologized several times for his remarks when he was arrested, and it's likely that Richards would be doing the same, although from what I can tell, the media has more or less gone, "Meh, show's over. The guy apologized. NEXT!" :| Adventurer's Log || YouTube || Facebook || Tip.it Times Work || Wanna Join the Editorial Panel?Maxed Out 01 October 2012 PDT
freebird_forever22
I dont think its that racist he was really pissed off. And there is no need for hecklers like that he deserved. It kinda sounds racist that the black guy can say stuff but once the white guy says stuff back oh you just crossed the line. He did go a little overboard but still you have to treat everyone the same even if your mean to everyone Chuck norris's beard hair grants you imortalitybut then the razor sharp hair will rip holes inyour intestine's and you will die a painful death
