  1. The monsters presented in Power Rangers. They were pretty scary.
  2. Wordpress? LiveJournal ftw! Lawl. If the blogs have been treated so badly in Off-Topic by such a vast majority, then it is only logical to not put any type of blogging forum in Off-Topic. The only blogs I'd assume people in OT would actually read, would be if the person blogging led some interesting life (like travelling an entire year), or following someone behind the scenes in the entertainment business or something, with good quality videos/pictures and such. Anything else is just going to be annoying or not peaking anyones interests or peaking too little of peoples interests for them to care. That and since everyone in Off-Topic has an IQ of 160, they feel superior to blogs and thus dismiss them as children's toys. Good luck encouraging the love. I don't think there is a place on these forums for blogs specifically. However if some kind of forum that existed so that you could post real life 'things' or 'happenings' then blogs could fit into that forum. However this real life forum couldn't intrude on what Off-Topic is, but still manage to encompass a large variety of real life 'things' for an interest or whatever to be present. So it wouldn't just be blogs or anything. Like that Need a GF/BF topic could be moved there, dating advice, real life help, questions on educational professions to get into, breaking news that really isn't that important...etc, you know basically everything the OT regulars have grown to hate, could be grouped together in one sub-forum, as itacts as its own filth dispo-...cleansing of 'unappealing' topics in the OT forum.
  3. Or you could just become pro and memorize the emotions. Sound like an idea?
  4. This is why I use Steam and private torrents. Can't go wrong. That and the three video game stores went out of business because Best Buy is right next door and in a 10x larger building. Still in BestBuy haven't had any problems the last time I was there like forever ago.
  5. That made me chuckle. And the charger in L4D2 looks promising in my opinion. Don't know if this was posted before or not, but its relatively new... Youtube HD Video - This video will cause high CPU usage, to view the video in a lower quality, please click .
  6. I'd rather wait 2 or 3 hours in a waiting room, then another 2 hours for a profile, then 4 hours for the surgery/treatment, then working 20-40 years working off the medical debts. And if the persons tumor was actually 'that' bad she wouldn't have had to wait 6 months, she would have been bumped up the list quite fast. It probably wasn't even cancerous and was just growing very slowly.

Majority of everyone that posted previously, just got tired of it/didn't think it was that great of a big deal as we thought it would have been. Then again, sure, if you're on a netbook or something, you may play it for the FPS format, but really, there's other browser based games to play...even on netbooks. Meh so I just don't bother with it.
  8. If the rest of your family can login from the same computer and connection, then it's a problem with your account, which means it's something that Microsoft has done to it. Thus unless this is a common bug that happens to people (which I don't think it is), you should just contact the support system they have up on msn.com or windowslive.com or whatever website they're trying to use as a mainstream site now.
  9. Ya know, the people that regularly check this forum, you know the ones that help those that come here once in a blue moon to ask for tech help, probably already knew of this vulnerability, due to the fact that they all most likely have two or so tabs dedicated to tech news, as well as the communities they belong to already. So I really do not see the point in 'warning' us about such a vulernability, when majority of us all know about it. As well as clearly coming off as warning and not discussing it, even when its not worth discussing anyways. And even going further to tell us to cripple our browsers with just your word only. Think of the random user that just so happens to read this topic and take it extremely seriously and then they have to wonder why their websites are rendering in such 'weird' forms. If you're going to go out and demand people do such a critical operation to their browser, at least back it up with a few links and a real darn good reason as to why they should. It is sourly annoying. And you're sarcastic and belittling replies are just further causing grief for everyone.
  10. I only turn it off for these reasons: 1. Programs in Windows become too slow from RAM getting clogged 2. There's some 'important' update, or after an installation that requires a restart. 3. To count to 24 seconds and find Ubuntu entirely booted and ready to go, for the pleasure and satisfication of it <-- Recently found out how gratifying it is, lawl.
  11. Tell that to all of the religion enforcing extremists, lol.
  12. There's tons of exploitations allowing HTML in posts. Tons. From page redirects, to 'somewhat' automatic downloads.
  13. If only it were measurable how many times 4chan got DDOS'd, or DoS'd in a year. It is kind of scary how they infiltrated one of the largest image hosts on the internet, and how large the news was, not every day we get an internet spread dilemma. The things they could have put, and they put some rant that's not going to take form at all.

A lot of you are undervaluing this particular piece of vinyl. If we assume the OP isn't lying, and it isn't opened, hasn't removed any stickers, and everything is still there, and it is an original print, then it is far more worth than the millions of other copies that were opened, tampered, or whatnot. Such small differences in the condition of the piece is what makes the difference between $200 and $20 000 in ten years from now.
  15. The tab problem happens in Chrome too. Take away the HTML5 support and the 'new web technologies' there really isn't anything to get excited over. Firefox still feels the same, as it's not like it's improving download speeds, lawl. But yea, it's basically catching up to Chrome and then putting one foot ahead.

So then why did no one sign up for it here, if there's actual prizes to be had, for free?
  17. You have your fingers and thumb on the WASD, shift/control key, and the spacebar. You then use your index for E, and R, while you use your thumb for the C key. You use your middle finger or ring finger for the number keys. You use your pinkie for shift/control. You may also map the buttons on your mouse for easier use. The mouse controls are all static to your finger, your fingers hardly do use more than one button except for the scope or the scroll wheel...:/ Not hard at all. Take 4 hours and you'll get used to it.

So did any of you guys sign up for this: http://gamebattles.com/thirdParty/sponsors/bic/ssbb/ Just wondering? Didn't see anything in particular in the previous pages of spam.
  19. Thanks it worked. But more specifically thanks for making it a lot more clear on what to do. :)
  20. OK, so in the program, I just click on 'write MDR' as a reinstall, under the Manage Bootloader tab? Thanks.
  21. Ah I see. Install linux> boot into windows from the menu > download BCD while in windows > restore the MBR > reformat/delete the partition that has linux. Thanks, I'll see what happens.
  22. So basically do this: Install Linux > download BSD and use it? How am I getting into Windows through Linux...?
  23. This would be the backup CD's to compeltely reinstall or would it just 'repair' without deleting any files...? I have a bad memory, but the reinstall cd or windows cd has the option of repair and reinstall right? Or what? :o & Linux can go screw itself, lol. Stupid wine. >.>
  24. I Googled this error, and found it's related to the installation of any Linux distro, and then deleting the entire partition in which the distro was installed on. So here's the story: Two weeks ago I installed Ubuntu on my second HDD. After a few days I needed the space back for game recordings. Deleted the entire HDD and then reformatted it with my first HDD, which still had Vista on it, through the disk management program. I then reformatted it back to NTFS file system and began using it for recordings. So since then I had been using the second HDD without any problems or any errors while booting. Then all of a sudden, today I boot up my computer, I get past the initial boot up screen, and then I get this error: GRUB loading stage 1.5.... GRUB loading please wait... ERROR 22 ----- So I google'd it and found it was from deleting the partition in which had Linux on it. Then forums started to say you needed to do something with bootdisk or supergrub or something... But it was all aimed at people trying to reinstall linux and not those who still have windows and want to keep their files. So I booted without the second HDD and still got the problem. Changed the boot up priorities for each HDD and such, but still didn't work, even though I didn't expect it to. So what exactly is the problem, if you could explain it, and how do I fix it, if at all while keeping the files I have on the first hdd and possibly the second hdd? My computer's specs: viewtopic.php?p=6319330#p6319330 Thanks if you can help Tip.It <3 --- The google searches: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/For ... 57b1e83a28 http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions ... on-377590/ For reference?
  25. I found the movie to be extremely corny, with the two main characters and their romance, the relationship between Optimus and Megatron, and just general dialog was annoying because it was so freaking corny. Sam's mother though...that was funny, but it was trying to modernize and bring in a sense of comical relief that wasn't needed, and definitely was irritating and a slap in the face to the series. One thing I was depressed about though, was the lack of explosions...like, sure, 2-3 second explosions but not really epic explosions as in previous MB movies. It was a good pure action movie, but really anyone looking for that deep storyline and personal personas presented in the original series isn't going to find it and be happy. Action Movie: 7/10; Compared to other action movies, this was pretty good. Regular Movie: Fail. And Megan Fox is a terrible, TERRIBLE actor.
