As if dragon has any significant use after defence level of 70... besides you'd only get the t60 stats with a defence level of 75, plenty of armor around those levels already too.

There goes most of my reasons for wanting Warpriest or the Godsword.... Not sure why protect on death warpriest would have a huge impact on game economy... it's not as if warpriest is that OP compared to other commercially available armors...

Which drygores should I get if I can only afford 1 pair?
chenw replied to All_Is_Great's topic in Help and Advice
Actually Maces also have Linza's hammers as well, but it's still nowhere near as good as the longsword options. -
Tuesday, Wednesday and saturday would be my picks. 100m is too remote of a chance, and I don't need the money, insta-kill darts is useless for me without the comp count (understandable limitation, but does remove any use I have for it), and skilling outfit is also rather useless :P

In terms of practicality (not with standing any accuracy issues): MH: Both Rapier and Longs do more damage than mace, though only by a minute amount (less than 10 points difference), Rapier and Long are identical to each other besides override options, which longs have many many more than rapiers. Mace however have a very substantial Prayer bonus (which you may or may not care about). OF: Both rapier and Long do more damage than mace, but again, by a minute amount (less than 5 points of difference), but off hand mace is a lot cheaper compared to rapier or long. For entirely practical purposes, I would probably go with dual maces, as it is the cheapest pair, so you have more money available to buy other things. The difference between them are very minor. -
The best crystal to use on the 6 dill wave is Constitution crystal. As long as you only have 1 dill attacking you at a time, the crystal makes you essentially invulnerable to their special attack.

So how do off-hand weapons work exactly?
chenw replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in Help and Advice
everything under this post are based on EoC abilities, they work different for auto attacks and I have no idea how it works in Legacy. Most of the weapon stats, effects and such are based on the stats from your Mainhand, while your off hand mostly provides just the damage. For example, if you equip a mainhand bronze dagger with a Drygore off hand mace, your accuracy would be based on your bronze dagger and your Drygore would provide a damage boost. If you equipped a Drygore Main hand and a bronze dagger off hand, your accuracy would then be based on your drygore, and your bronze dagger would provide only damage. For auto attacks, each of your mainhand and off hand would work independently (ie their own respective accuracy and damage would be taken into account). For legacy, I have absolutely no idea how it works, all i know is that I think both the MH and OF are combined -
Because MH Xbow is only weapon that has a tangible use that isn't out classed by something that exist in the game elsewhere: doing QBD. Chaotic Xbow MH functions pretty much identically to Asc xbow when you use Dragonbane bolts with it. Your off hand should ideally be Death Lotus darts in that case. However this is the only case where Chaotic Weapon is a joint BIS. Every other chaotic weapon has something else that beats them in every other way.
-
If that is the case, then I would actually get Chaotic Xbow, because that, along with Dragonbane bolts, helps immensely with QBD, which, once you get used to it, allows you to get other higher end gear. But getting more than 1 Chaotic probably isn't worth the tokens, but if I had to buy a chaotic, it'd be Xbow.

By the time you reach SR4, you probably won't see the GTA in it anymore. -
Actually magic accuracy is quite useful (at least from what I can see) because the triangle is quite strictly enforced so that higher level mobs you may have accuracy issues even with celestial catalytic. And the magic accuracy bonus on the ring is massive compared to the other two styles. However I am no dg expert, so I could be wrong on this one.

has the clan xp boost been implemented yet or would we have to wait until next update?

Anyone know if Shield Bow and Short bow share their overrides? I am looking into keepsaking Hexhunter, but since it's a Shield bow, I was wondering if a keepsaked hex would be compatible with dps bows such as Zaryte or Noxious.

[hide] You could have, provided you have saved her from the abductors, also under a rather specific condition: you have to go to the collector's base immediately after the abduction. If you complete any missions before that, you will not be able to. the reason I shall let you discover. And yes, you can use Legion as a squadmate. It also gives possibility of a much better ending for a few races in ME3 if you activated legion, which you did.[/hide] -

Well one of the ways I solved that problem was playing wizard on lower difficulties (and gearing her up) while getting the crafting recipes (they drop quite often), the one that is especially useful is the Heavenly one, as that one gives weapons for all classes AND shield in 1 recipe drop. To make gear for the Paladin, make a strength based character and craft the items you want on him (there isn't really any need to play strength characters just to get strength gear for your follower). Although the learning curve is still quite steep, it is nowhere near the level of hell-inferno jump, nor are you forced to take the deep end of that curve just to gear. -
The fact there are people who wear the X Year cape pretty much IS the proof that gaming is for all ages.

[hide] A random fact about ME3 and Wrex: If you are, somehow, wanting to aim for the highest EMS in ME3, it is actually better to let Wrex die, since you only lose 5 EMS (Wreav gives 10, Wrex gives 15), but you can double cross Wreav to get (and keep) EMS from both Krogans and Salarians. Can't do that with Wrex as he will find out about the double cross and withdraw Krogan's EMS (and his, since you kill him). [/hide] -
No need, if you are using EoC and on normal magic, the general rule is, unless you have seismics or are in DG, surge spells are a waste of runes. Air wave is as good as any other wave (you can easily confirm this via loadout screen, all waves and surges give the same damage) on QBD. With Ancients it's a little more complicated, but Bloodfire burst should do (IIRC, Ice and bloodfire burst will give max damage on Abyss Wand).

You can store P2P items in f2p slots, the bank boosters are actually quite useful since it boosts the number of items you can store as F2P, P2P slots can only store P2P items (as far as I know).

for the record, it is possible to get commodore tyr to upgrade a superior normal void top/legs to a superior elite void top/legs (he has dialogue option for this), rather than needing to upgrade to elite first than patch it. -
