  1. I think all that needs to be said has been said already. Jagex clearly states that you should not be playing the game if you are under 13, and if the parents plays with their >13 child, then there wouldn't have to be any worry about anything in that article because the parent is there. If the parent neglects to do that, it is their own fault and it is irresponsible of them to point fingers at Jagex. Its the same idea if a mother lets her 5 year old go play outside and shes in the house ignoring it, what happens when it falls down and gets a boo-boo? There are worse things on TV and most kids I know below age 13 have their own TV in their room, is this person pointing fingers at FX when the child sees Nip/Tuck and wants to copy the naughty scenes that they do in it? or repeat the cuss words? No. If the parent does not want the child seeing something like this, they put on the V-chip or block out the station using other devices. Whats the difference from if a child finds inappropriate pictures while surfing the net unsupervised? IMO it all comes down to that one word *unsupervised*. As much as I'm against parents smothering their kids from the real world (for the most part, please do not pick apart my words and think that I mean extremely drastic things.), if a parent is going to [bleep] then they need to DO SOMETHING, not try to ruin it for others who are mature and can handle things. _ And Qeltar, isn't it a bit rude to correct someones spelling because you can not think of a counter argument?
  2. :| I actually did not catch on to the "joke" of this thread and I even went and googled it.. -.- omfg lol
  3. Omg, that's crazy. That's a lot of level 3's! Worry about yourself and not others then you won't have to confuse us with macroers k? thx God people these days in rs .. If you don't talk its like "pmfg r u macring @@?@?@?", doesn't even matter your combat level. I saw a post here the other day where someone was harassing a suspected autoer just because the person "looked" and "acted" like a bot. I'm sorry but seriously I want people to back off. If you think we are autoing, report us, don't talk to us, don't accuse. Just FO and report. Hmm... I disagree with this. If someone says something to you and you can hear (see) it, I believe it's just common courtesy to say something back, even if it's just: hi OMG, that took a whole half a second to type. And now the person knows that you're probably not an autoer. Problem solved. Now, if you've got public chat turned off, you obviously can't hear anybody saying anything. Sooo... Then you don't have to say anything. Then the person can go ahead and report you for "autoing" (even though it's really more like reporting for having public chat turned off). And as to the other point about being called a bot because you look like one... Um, yeah, that's called reality. If you go and dress up like a weirdo, I would guess that about 95% of people who see you are going to think, "Hey, that guy is a weirdo." I'm not obligated to reply to some ignorant person thinking that the random level 4 walking through ardougne is an autoer. Like I said, its easy to report. I'd rather be reported for it then have to see the bulk of the stupidity in RS these days I'm not going out of my way to type and talk to someone

  5. i had to read your post 3 times before knowing what it was because your spelling is horrible
  6. :o We haven't been able to talk much since i been keeping chat off lately .. but ill always remember that time i made an idiot out of myself early that one morning i had a bit to much to drink >.>
  7. Mines off almost always now. 90% of the time its off
  8. 1. 99 thieving - because i like it 2. 99 fishing - Used to like it more then thieving, got 99 almost a year ago and fished a bit after ward 3. 99 Firemaking - Like this skill 4. 99 crafting - like this skill 5. 93 fletching - Easy skill and I stopped fletching to 99 for more thieving a while ago I wouldn't have a high stat if I didnt like it [besides fletching]
  9. It was six months between slayer and farming, and construction and hunter, but it was a year between farming and construction. If they do release one I really hope that its not as easy as the past 2 that they have released. Didn't someone post a pic of some NPC in the desert talking about stone masonry?
  10. IMO the highscores have always been around and people have always wanted to be good on them. Without the highscores Senor Noob over there could say he has 99 fishing but really have 69.. Skill capes on the other hand.. It always seems like someone is going for a 99 now, never is someone going for something less then 99. I NEVER see "Going for lvl 95 mining!" What is really killing rs is the fast xp per hour jagex is making things
  11. I really haven't noticed but I have been camping out away from groups of people on RS for a long time now, and even when I'm in a bank I don't usually get involved in conversation unless I know the person. I don't think its changed much, I just think people forget what it was like 'back then'. The mind pushes unpleasant things out of it, so we all might forget what it was really like I know that happens to me all the time. I don't talk to an old friend because of particular reasons but every once in a while I think that maybe I was over reacting but then I talk to them again and I just realize "Omg I remember now"
  12. You spelled official wrong and I've held myself back for a while but its REALLY bothering me
  13. You try burning almost 100k logs to get 99 firemaking - Not a walk in the park. I'm not saying its the best cape but IMO its not the least admirable. Fletching or cooking takes that place
  14. You know.. it does take time to make things.. They can't just whip something up in two weeks.
  15. Is it necessary to post this? Edit: Before everyone flames me more.. I honestly do not remember posting this.. lol
  16. there are a lot of spam topics that tend to be weeded out really quick but there are also a lot of good topics around it. true there are a lot of morons who post on the good topics, but its the same way here lol..
  17. i tried it with 10k and some crappy treasure trail items i had.. omg.. LMAO
  18. you are such a moron, you didn't even read what i said. Did i say anywhere that I continue to use the 100k xp per hour method? No i said I use gloves of silence [personal preference over pyramid plunder, same xp per hour].
  19. Zman did I say I didn't use the new methods? I use the gloves of silence now, I'm not a moron. [And yes you can get the same xp per hour with the gloves as pp] I simply said I managed 84m before gloves of silence, and i chose not to do pyramid plunder because knights are better money. so seriously GTF0 me. So do you consider cooking sharks to 99 cooking 'hard work'? Thieving is just as fast as that now and I hardly consider using pyramid plunder 'hard work'
  20. Thats what makes me mad about the situation, they killed thieving with pyramid plunder and gloves of silence which are both over 200k [pickpocketing knights with gloves] xp an hour no matter which one you choose. I see an untrimmed thieving cape and i just think "pyramid noob didn't earn it" Which IS the general opinion of almost all the respectable thievers that didn't noob it away in pyramid plunder. Maybe I'm just overly defensive because I managed to obtain 84m xp in thieving without the pyramid and without the gloves of silence. But the same thing goes for combat and pest control. Maybe the xp per hour hasn't changed much, but its much more of a hassle to have to do this every 3-5 hours. honestly I think if they wanted to make it slower they would have nerfed the rocks not bother with water skins.
  21. Well I'm not happy about it either, but a full inventory of waterskins [24, since you need room for a pick and 3 granite spaces], should last about 2.5 hours without desert robes, with it, it would be about 4 hours. It isn't THAT bad. Some people only play 4 hours a day. I also doubt that someone could sit their mining for 4 hours non-stop without logging out for at least 10 minutes.
  22. Tip.it is not blocked. All servers are blocked from the SS irc window. They have disabled the use of the function /server They also have put on a mode +f to every user (a censor that censors websites, bad words, etc) It was necessary for them to keep IRC on SS. So you won't be able to access tip.it's server through SS, you will have to download mIRC. [and the swiftirc network is not working right now either, it should be up soon later]
