NO! the anchor is pathetically horrible against fiends. i took mine on my first ever trip and was completely disgusted by the hits. A D mace completely destroys the anchor with concern to the special attack. As you know, a SGS is by far the best option, but take a mace if you can't afford one. Also, don't use a godsword as your main weapon against fiends, ss/z spear are much better, only big sword to take down there woul be a SGS. One more thing, don't be one of those pompous idiots flounting their riches over others that they assume to be poorer than them by wearing armadyl armor, it hurts your accuracy pretty badly(-12ish from the top and bottom if I remember right), nice and cheap karils is the best option in THIS situation.

Stabbing with a whip...? Takes a real man to impale someone with sausage links. Anyways, isn't the def req on a torso 45? So noone who can sue a torso will be using adamant(No offense to anyone in extreme welfare situations). A RUNE plate, would be better for training, because in case you haven't noticed, several monsters DO use stab and crush attacks. You don't think that the fire giants are trying to cut you when they swing those clubs?(noone cares about the ones with swords) To whoever said that they use a torso at GWD, no. The answer is just no. Dueces.

Well the MAX possible(with ancient staff) would be... -ahrim hood -ahrim top -ahrim robe -3a ammy -infinity boots -barrows gloves -arena cape -ancient staff -seer's ring -arcane(or w/e the magic attack spirit shield is) BUT, for a reasonable price, glory/fury and zam book should get swapped in. I wore a wealth the few times that I went, still don't know about the actual difference tha it makes, though.

You don't get any experience for looting the sarcophagi, do you? or am I just making that up? I remember someone saying to only loot those if you wanted to get a sceptre...

I'm sorry to say it, but i don't think that your stats are really up to par even to go with an average size(3-4 man) team...You should probably get 85 range and 80 defense at least before you go with a team(70 prayer too, not for you personally but for blessing). I would get 90 range and defense before you go solo. Like others said, prayer really doesn't matter much unless you like to mix in normal restores like me.

I'd be willing to bet that using a bunyip, less food, and super energies costs less than a tbird and monks. I went back there a little while ago and iw as only using a monkfish every other game on average. Someone who plays more often could probably give you a better answer, though.

He was looking for magic experience. If he limited himself to 64 per day(for a 230 loss) then it would take ages to get enough staffs to keep up with him making 500(I've never tried orbs for exp, btu I'll just go with what's been said) orbs/hour. If he buys the staffs off of the GE/another player, then he would lose money if I remember right.

Personally, I like stringing. Nice and hassle free, not sure on actual speed, but I'm betting that it is the best effort/speed...whatever, you know what I mean I'm tired...

Meh...the only worthwhile stat in my opinion is the +5 prayer. That's a pretty freakin big boost along with having the same offensive stats as a glory. The defense is pretty irrelevant, and I personally never placed much value in strength bonuses outside that of the actual weapon.

Well one person is willingly disadvantaging themselves. it's not liek the person using the protection prayer is the only one who can(in most cases). So if one person adds a handicap to themselvs, should it not be common courtesy for the other person to do the same? Watching a fight with two people using melee protection prayer is long, and boring as hell. I just think that it makes sense to level the playing field. Also, smite won't completely drain their prayer before they die in most cases, and people don't turn prayer off because piety is awesome.

I'm guessing that that was an intentional show of obliviousness(which is a word) to him specifically saying that he would not do any of those. On topic, you'd probably be better off with a bunyip, you are going to be doing a lot more damage than the regent can, so you want to maximize the amount of time that you are getting experience and NOT using guthans.

25% Defense makes a HUGE difference. Have you ever noticed the difference that using prayer against another player makes? Piety is only 15% less than that.

If you get 4 agility levels you can kill the two attacking the werewolf in the sara encampment as long as you like. If you want to use the zammy ones, wear proselyte, defender, whip, etc... and a zamorak cape, the tt one would be best for the prayer bonus. Add in a full inventory of prayer potions, 2 spaces for teleport runes should make room for a few boots if you get extremely lucky. Also take a holy wrench, and combat familiars if you want. Anything less than a geyser titan will probably get killed before it's time is up. Kill as many as you can with piety before you swim across the river, then just attack the 3-5 near the entrance to kril's chamber and let your character and familiar kill them. Take pure sets if you want, but whether or not you should take them depends on how long you feel like being there, I guess. Also, you shouldn't camp for drops, it's lame.

You can just run away a bit and log out and let the oen that you don't care about walk away. it's annoying, but it works. I'm sure that someone's discovered a good way to lure them by now, though.
