  1. You could go the no prayer route and just attack occupied ones, but that is slow as hell compared to using the zamorak ones. Also, I've noticed that task gets done the fastest if I hit several of them and then just let my character run around finishing them off. There's no way to pray flash efficiently unless you get them all to attack at the exact sametime.
  2. Do you want to train strength? If so, buy a Saradomin Sword, and then after you finish trainign strength for a bit, keep the Saradomin Sword because you'll feel better about yourself, and I personally find it funny to watch the defense training animation that it has
  3. Ya, use brews or some other resource to get in the safe zone and a pony/titan to top it off. It could turn out badly if you were relying on a scroll alone to keep you alive.
  4. he's a long way off having the magic level for that quest, you could try selling ess, I always see crafters whining about ess prices, so it must be pretty good profit for the miners
  5. Wow...not getting a very warm or fuzzy vibe off people in this topic... Anyways, you shouldn't expect to make a lot off of GE merchanting if you're starting with 1.8m.The absolute maximum realistic profit off of immediate resale merchanting is 5% of what you invest, so that's 90k/trade for you. Try to look for items that are traded commonly in low numbers, such as things that are frequently lost, but easy to replace....really hard to advise people without hurting yourself.
  6. Personally, I advise against duoing yet. Try going with 3 or 4 first, especially if you have never been. You also might want to get the summoning level for kalphite, ant, or bird.
  7. I would say 85 range and defense along with 52 summoning. On a slightly related note, I got an Arma hilt 4 hours ago, WOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! Good luck.
  8. It is proven to be the best strength training in the game. Don't talk about what you don't know. what are u talking about dragon scimmy and rune defender has a lot better stats and obbysword and berserker necklace is probably even better ss just plain sucks So many people seem to "know" so much about things that they've never tried...really amazes m sometimes.
  9. You expect a drop in 15 kills and you have 89 slayer? interesting... Anyways, mages *supposedly* have a... 1/100 drop rate of boots(personal experience) but I've seen people get 3 off of one task and I once got nothing after 361 kills :wall: I wouldn't know about demons, obviously, but as long as their drop rate is better than about 1/300, then they would be better money, no? Also, demons seem extremely weak(I attacked one to clear off a recoil with 3 charges left and it took ages).
  10. If you used ALL of your money on shards(swapping) and seconds and used waterfiends for charms, I would project somewhere in the low 90s. If you bursted lobsters the whole way, you would probably get 85-88ish,I think.

Yes you get extra experience for extra mined, smelted, or smithed things from the Varrok Armour. No idea about the droprates, sorry.
  12. The best way to get junk quickly is to find a way to do several junk trades. I've found a method that gives me 4.8% profit of my investment and a little over 8% of that worth of junk generated  but I can't tell you or it would be ruined...try looking around at the items that are junk traded often on RSOF, then...do something... Wow that was horrible advice, I apologise...try fletching unstrung bows or converting pouches to scrolls. Or maybe pickup stackable drops like javelins OR avoid junk trading all together and help correct some GE prices(some will never be "corrected" as there will always be junkers trying to get around prices :wall: )
  13. Oh yeah I completely forgot about karambwans! They are definately the best because they heal 18 or so I think, but you can eat them without interrupting combat.
  14. I get that too for an instant before it goes to the normal page. I've just been completely ignoring it because it hasn't actually effected anything.
  15. PC is indeed for noobs, but you just need 108 F2P combat for Heart Unit. OR you could get a friend of your whose already a member to tell you their worlds  I got every void piece(except for that rubbish mage helm) with heart Unit without being a member  but I was level 117 at the time, just barely missed the F2P combat cutoff, but noone noticed.
  16. I could never manage to keep that up at the rate that I consume sharks, which are the best in my opinion, because there will always be a large supply of them waiting, and it's only 2 HP less per inventory spot than taters. I guess that you could say that saradomin brews are the "best" food, but it takes 4 *bites* to heal with them efficiently.(3 brew doses-1 restore). You get 45ish HP back every time though  and 60ish HP per inventory slot(not counting restores)
  17. Yes get a SS=Saradomin Sword. Don't bother using a godsword for strength training, I'd suggest a whip/defender for attack and defense(I use my SS for all three because it's more fun  ). Get rid of that rubbish bandos armour. They barely noticeable bit of extra damage that you will do really is not worth it in my opinion...but your choice. I'll stick with guthans armour to save the hassle of switchin two more spots when I need to heal, and it has better melee defense than Bandos, anyway. I would not suggest a Drafonfire shield=DFS, because you want to train strength, and that would force you to use a dragon scimitar  which is just too horrible to even consider in all honesty. Also, controlled training is for panzies
  18. Whoever it was that said a godsword is bad for DKing, you obviously don't have much experience...I'll leave it at that... If you don't plan on doing any melee boss killing(Bandos, DKs, Zammy, KQ...KBD if you want to waste time and money), then you have absolutely no practical use for a Godsword(I don't consider minigames to be "pactical," and I don't have any experience in PVP outside of murdering people to get green hides faster). I still have yet to use a DFS...I think that I'll go buy one right now as a matter of fact
  19. You should be taking snare or entangle runes along with you. It makes catching them infinitely easier.

The second stage only takes normal bait, if I remember correctly. The chicks definately need it ground, though.

Armadyl hilt is one of the 4 hilts that can be placed on a godsword blade to make the currently most powerful melee weapons in the game. The reason that hilts are so expensive is because they are EXTREMELY rare drops from very powerful monsters. The reason that I think that Armadyl and Saradomin hilts are so expensive compared to the others is the high cost of supplies at Arma and Sara(if you use sweets which is idiotic in my opinion). The bandos hilt is so cheap compared to the others because the Bandos boss is by far the easiest to kill, it is being constantly killed at all times of day on every lootshare world along with a few others.
  22. Tip.It did used to have a map of Spawn locations, but Jagex updated the minigame so random implings spawn from each spot(I've noticed the same impling spawn several times in a row before, though). A few spawns that I know of are Castle Wars's lobby, somewhere near the gates of Piscatoris, and Al Kharid. Yes, you will have to wait for the impling to be caught before another spawns, and I don't suggest that you go out of your way to wait for implings. Having a net out while smelting/cooking/tanning in Al Kharid, or any banking trainign at C wars, or pouchcrafting before you can use Kyatts.
  23. Exactly, don't base any important decisions off idiots on RSOF. are you guys sure about this? I really need a bandos godsword to sell off my junk. It is a good sword also (IMO, IMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO). I almost resorted to borrowing and pretending to lend for 100k/hour LOL, thats bad. That's also item scamming if I understand this leasing rubbish :shame: If you don't already have one, I'm betting that it will be hard to buy off the GE now that it's rising. Any time that the price shifts down people get scared and dump them in the GE, when the price shifts back up again, those same people want to pay as little as possible for the sword so they flood the GE with offers at max price.
  24. Then you can't wear sara bracers and most people would have to walk(I can run because use the spa) while saradomin monsters attack them. This could be resolved by wearing a stole, but he needs the pendant, so that is out. You should only be attacked by sara monsters when first entering, that is counteracted by praying mage so a sara item is not needed. Maybe I just had bad luck, but on my trip I got tore up by the rangers, I use bracers to save my hat, might as well be Saradomin ones.
  25. I've massacred dozens of Goblins for burthorpe tasks and I don't remember seeing any charms at all, so I'm guessing that they are pretty rare. EDIT: Also, I just noticed today that Suqahs are pretty decent blue charm droppers. I only got 7 charms out of 72 Suqahs, but 3 were blue, and the task took around 40 minutes according to my pet, so that's 4ish blues/hour possibly.
