Bot disappearance?
Only by accident ...

The Obligatory Ice Hockey Thread
Yguy - it's abundantly clear that either: 1. You know sweet [bleep] all about hockey; and/or 2. You're trolling. You're either NOT listening or you're reading IMPAIRED. Considering the fact that you're a die-hard leafs fan, I'd wager on one over the other. Gustavvson's an albatross around Burke's neck. Right now, he's making $1.35M a year to play minor league hockey. He was a .500 NHL goalie last season – THIS season he stunk the league out with a 6/13/2 record and a GAA of 3.29. His save percentage was under .900. ... and you're completely overlooking the fact that Gustavvson's got a "ticky" heart. He's had FOUR surgeries in the past two years alone. Hell – no sooner was he sent down to the Marlies that they had to do MORE surgery. He's not only a poor goaltender, but a poor health risk. Given his on-going health issues, he is NEVER going to be able to provide you the 61+/- starts that you need from a #1 tender. Nor will he likely EVER be able to provide you with sufficient QUALITY starts to even be a decent back up. You don't need three seasons to know that he's a piece of crap costing you too much money that you don't need to be spending. –===-- Oh and gratz to Phil Kessel on his bestest season ever. Playing on the Leaf's second line against other team's secondary defensive pairings and matchups, he managed a whopping 60+ points this season – while amassing the 869th WORST +/- rating in the NHL. 869th against secondary level players. Wow! You're right Yguy – Kessel is a [bleep]ing superstar! What a maroon ... 869th worst +/- ... Seriously – do you even understand what that means? It means that every time Kessel steps on the ice he is a LIABILITY. Period. A $5.4M per season cap-hit liability. It means that, despite amassing 60+ points this year – he still managed to give-up MORE goals against him than he GENERATED. There's 868 guys in the NHL, the vast majority of them making less money, who aren't as big a LIABILITY as Phil Kessel. ... and you know what's hilarious? Truly hilarious? Kessel's stats are, career-wise so far, not even a GOOD as the greatest wash-out in NHL history: Alexander Daigle. ... and somehow, you can sit there and pretend that we "cannot" know if three top picks would pan out as better hockey players than the 869th liability in the NHL this season ... Seriously?

Bot disappearance?
So -- in summary -- it appears that what has happened is: 1. Jagex altered the script ID for Aubury (by removing his skill cape option); and 2. A botting company is about to go "pay per use", and, as such, hasn't offered the free update for this script change.

Ok. The wise course of action is definitely to give up on a goalie who's played only 65 nhl games in his career. I don't know what team you cheer for but I doubt they do that with all their prospects. http://www.goaliesarchive.com/leafs/index.html Clemmenson played 6 games. They didn't re-sign him. Pogge played 7 NHL games. They traded him. Cousineau played 15 games. They let him go. Aubin played 31 games. They let him go. Peter Ing played 59 games. They let him go. Tim Bernhardt played 61 games. They let him go. Shall I continue? Really? I can if you want.

Gawd you Leaf fans are a thick lot. I swear. Gustavsson is NOT an NHL goalie. Get it? HE. IS. NOT. AN. NHL. GOALIE. He never will be an NHL goalie. The Leafs don't need a tandem of second-rate goaltending. They need a bona fide starter and a back up. Gustavsson is not even good enough to play back-up. He should be bought out of his contract and sent back packing to the Euro-leagues where his bum ticker can handle playing a 25-game season. End of story. Stop putting faith in this dog. Burke screwed the pooch with this one. Between Gustavsson and the Kessel deal, the Leafs won't be winning a Cup for another decade. At least. Now Reimer MAY be an NHL starting goalie it will all depend on how well he does with a full-season under his belt next season. It's not a lot to see a goalie win 20 games in 34 especially during the latter half of the season. The question is whether or not that same goalie can win 40 games in 68 starts. THAT is the determinator. If not - then he's just another back up tender. As such, the Leafs are still left with the dilemma do they pursue a bona fide "starter", or a solid back up? - OR - Do they spend one of their draft picks this season and pick up a potential starter and keep "rebuilding"?

How Would You Detect Bots?
Based on ^this^ analysis, then I qualify as a bot. Seems legit, reported. Also, over the past 5 months i've been performing my own tests. 100% of people at bandits are bots, and this is true fact based on scientific statistical logic. No pics no proof. Here is your damned pic.

Buying Craft / Agility / Mining / Smithing Assistance
You need assists in Smithing and Crafting. Mining and Agility cannot be assisted. If I had the levels, I'd help you for free. You may have better luck trying W117 at DG. Good luck! :shades:

Assuming you're using a mud staff and you cast every spell you can, you'll use: 1160 astrals/hr 80 laws/hr 520 nats/hr At current ge prices, that's 240k gp/hr. But I know astrals have selling for way higher, and probably the other runes as well. A rough estimate with astrals = 200gp, nats = 175gp, and laws = 300gp is 347k/hr. YMMV Well, based on those estimates and some of the math others have done, it will cost about 37 hours to get Venge Group, so 12.8m gp. That's not even counting opportunity cost for the time you waste doing this, just the amount of GP you spend. Not [bleep]ing worth it. Hmmm - I am trying to justify if I'd use the Lunar Spellbook enough to spend 13M on improving it ...

200M in all Skills

What point was missed? Unless you give xp fast and now then the ipod generation doesn't like it. There's plenty of players who don't mind the 'grind' and actually treat it as part of the game. It's called patience and the feeling that something you've worked towards has been worthwhile. Try it sometime. Still missed the point. <_< The point is that we'd prefer CONTENT over more levels -- i.e. - making skills "useful", etc.

I love the Sergeant-at-Arms's characterization. I wish we could move the way she does and I, particularly, like her "go to hell" posture ...

Should Jagex start taking legal action against bots/rwters/hackers
This is a meaningless link, really.

Tip.It Times - 3rd April 2011
 Nice in theory, but in practice players don't use it that way. The bulk would rather get 99 as fast as possible rather than do what they find enjoyable, then complain they had to grind. Way to miss the point.

Really? You mean Jagex wants us to GRIND it out for petty XP?!?!?! There's a shocker ...

^This^ is just wrong on so many levels ...- More Sad Graphs to Look at
Okay -- so -- which part of "jurisdiction" and "corporate shield" don't you comprehend?- More Sad Graphs to Look at
I think that you are the individual who's under the delusion that Jagex is able or willing or actually doing anything about it. The "lawsuits" as you wish to call them, don't really have much effect. First of all, there's the issue of jurisdiction and"trade-marks", and secondly there is the issue of corporate protection. There are countries that don't recognize trade-marks of any kind or jurisdiction. As such, all a bot-site operation needs to do is to router their bot-site through oh say -- China, and it becomes a fascinating mess. Then, of course, there's the issue of jurisdiction. How does an English court enforce a legal remedy upon an operation that exists outside its realm of authority? Well - it doesn't. It can't. Secondly, there's the issue of the corporate shield. If any bot-site hides itself within a corporate entity, there's not a lot that Jagex can do to pierce that corporate shield and get at the actual "shareholders" who may, or may not, be profiting from the sale of bot programming. I've no delusions about the continued existence and proliferation of bots. My issue, now, is with their proliferation. My question is when will the game meet the threshold at which it becomes impossible to play it because there's so many bots in-game, that there's nothing you can do? <_<- More Sad Graphs to Look at
Orly? And what, pray-tell is Jagex doing about them? The stat resets, the bannings, the lawsuits against bot sites the various bot detection systems etc. Indications are that it appears to be some 15-30% of the general R/S population is now using a "bot" of some kind or other and the numbers appear to be growing. Are you saying that Jagex is rolling back on 15-30% of all player stats? How many accounts have been banned this year due to "botting"? To what affect, short term and long term, do you honestly think legal proceedings taken against bot sites is going to curtail the current problem? Do you honestly think that Jagex REALLY has any "bot detection systems" operating at the present time? - JUSTIN BEIBER
