Karambwan haven't been proven yet to have no delay I am very, very willing to pay an extra 500 ea for food if it does not cause delay.

Kinda off topic but exactly what is the charm collecting rate for scarabites

How were you using the scroll? I wasn't but what I'm saying is that as you need to heal fast at solo bandos the scroll would be dangerous to use. I was also saying that as I was recently soloing Bandos I accidentally generalised "boss hunting" into my solo bandosing lol. The point is that you eat a raw shark every 6 seconds or so, thereby eliminating the need for having to eat regularly And if you get especially low then that's when you revert back to normal food Granted, it's a hard technique (impossible?) but if you can manage to use it, it'd be a very valuable supplement to combat [/hide] Considering that at solo bandos a BoB of food is normally useful, you would have to get the ratio of raw:cooked food perfect for the kills and it's fairly unpredictable with solo Bandos. You can go about 20 seconds without having to eat at all then have to panic eat for another 20. Have you ever soloed Bandos btw lol? Yes, I have soloed bandos somewhere close to 100 times The reason bandos can be so unpredictable is because sometimes, like you said, he goes on streaks where he keeps on hitting you. All you can do is eat and eat and eat, and you're stuck on the defense, dealing no damage to him. The point of the bunyip method is that you're healing almost constantly, so you'll get the kill a lot faster and avoid the panic eating altogether. Though my experiences at Bandos say that you probably are right. Im bringing up a hypothetical situation that could be useless in practice (at least for this case)

It has some limited use in solo monster hunting (mainly Bandos/Zamorak) Also, as I mentioned you can simply carry additional Bunyip pouches. Even though it's 2K per pouch, think of it as saving you from being hit 40 HP, or 2 sharks :

Interesting, the RS wiki says that too. Maybe I'll test it out... if it is that good then it's gonna be my food of choice
-
There is some delay involved with potions, although it's definitely smaller than food delay

The Bunyip's swallow whole special allows you to eat a raw fish. This heals you the same amount as if the fish were cooked. The unique thing about this special is that it does not interrupt your combat. Unlike normal eating, where you have to spend one turn eating, the scroll simply heals you. You don't almost can attack constantly without eating delay. Uninterrupted combat means you can deal substantially more damage to an opponent. The main drawback is that there's a large delay (2-3 seconds) between when you activate the scroll and the actual healing. Thus for emergency situations you still have to rely on normal eating. "Bunyip eating" isn't for emergency healing. You would be "Bunyip eating" regularly (say, every 10 seconds?) and then if you get hit hard you rely on normal eating. Also, it takes 3 clicks to eat a fish instead of 1, so there is significantly more micromanagement involved. Another drawback is that Bunyip only has 40 HP, so your opponent could just spend 1 - 2 tempo killing your Bunyip to get rid of this ability. Or, you could stock extra Bunyips in your inventory but that would get expensive at 2K a pop. The scrolls cost about 200 each, and the special only takes 3 special move points. So the special is quite accessible. Discuss

It's really hard to evaluate the value of charms because some people highly value summoning and some people don't care at all. Likewise, some people find their time very valuable and thus spend millions on bursting while some don't really care and slay/waterfiend with no cost.
-
Imaginary merchants are just smart people. you can't have a society (i.e. RS community) without at least a few smart ones out there who will try to jip the rest.

Not neccisary true. Did you count in that you get about 50kxp/hour compared to 70-100k/hour from regular training? Does it make sence to say that your only collecting charms while your obtaining melee xp? Melee xp is so easy to get I ignore it that you can basically ignore it in these calculations
-
Let's assume you make 500K / hr and you use fiends to get crims at a rate of 80 crim/hr. That means in terms of opportunity cost you're spending about 6K per crimson. Since the ratio of xp for charms is 1 gold : 1.33 green : 3.33 crim : 6.66 blue, You can estimate that: Gold = 2K Green = 2.8K Crim = 6K Blue = 12K

The adze isn't to train WC it's to get 99 FM more easily provided that you train it with WC. The idea is that you first get the adze, then use the adze to train to 99 WC, and then use the FM xp generated by the adze to get 99 FM.

No then it would be really easy to inflate prices It's based off the transactions that take place not the offers.

It's long overdue for a crash; Summoning and SGS have made it obsolete. Expect it to fall further...

What's the quickfind code for that post?

They can try to correct prices all they want. If they raise them by 10M, i (and the rest of the 3rd Age merchants) will simply start charging "Trade Price + 55M" for Items, instead of 55M now. They're not going to be able to stop it unless they seriously play around with the prices and/or introduce some new Armour. I say the market will become MORE EXCLUSIVE, due to the increased trade prices and the junk trades, on top of them. The Market Price will go up and up, and the Street Price will follow suit. Party Hats will come down in price sooner or later. I personally find it surprising that Jagex would loosen up the 3rd Age market and not the Party Hat one. I HIGHLY believe that there's some British bomb in the Jagex headquarters that will upset this inbalance soon, because i doubt they wanted junk trading, 3rd Age overpricing, and Party Hat underpricing to be where they are today. You can't manipulate 3rd age prices THAT much. I'm definitely letting go of my 3rd melee when plate/legs actually hit 200, if they ever do. There's a limit to how much you can stretch demand. It's already really low.

Well, yes, in the long term. But the reason for the most recent crash is because of the upcoming PvP updates and higher level equipment.

AGS is a very good PvP weapon. In the past I have held on to one for several months. I think it's worth its 50-90M price tag, NOT because it's extremely useful but because among all items it makes you feel the coolest. The animation for the special is top notch, the look of the hilt and weapon are beautiful, and you'll always remember the KO's you can produce with this (I 1 hit my old clan leader, Dragonsama, for a 70 while he was eating once) With that said, the weapon itself is indeed powerful. In terms of versatility, BGS, SGS, and DDS all surpass it. However, for most PvP (i.e. BH, Clan wars) it is the best special weapon. A ~10% chance of hitting 70+ (assuming you hit) is actually a huge advantage. Even consider that there's a 50% chance of KO if you hit and your opponent is below 35 HP. Note: I would expect a bounceback soon, and then a continuation of the fall.

Long time no post. I've been busy at college and with work; just finished orientation week :) Anyway I noticed that 3rd age items have been going up recently -- all of them have had increases of 4.8% or more in the past week. Some items have even had 10% increases (most likely not a natural increase, i.e. set by Jagex). Either there's a huge coincidence that all of the 3rd age items had their GE update in the same week, or more likely, Jagex is starting to update 3rd age prices. If Jagex starts to correct 3rd age prices, what could this mean for the party hat and 3rd age markets? At what point do you think Jagex will stop correcting 3rd age prices (i.e. what do you think will be the market price for 3rd items?) :

The thing about those calculations, though, is that the time it takes to play the minigame can be ignored if you enjoy playing it. If you like playing the minigame then it may be worth it to you to sacrifice a bit of XP for your enjoyment. -
you got to be kidding someone actually got max gp. i guess that is the level 99 of gp. I know of some people that are worth 25B and growing
-
Small rares (Santas, Masks) are currently being manipulated. The price rise is a bubble. The lower party hats have pretty much always been sellable. It just takes quite a bit of time, at most 2 months. Over time, I expect party hats to regain their value. That's why I invested in a white.
