  1. Knives and Darts are the same speed. Knives hit marginally higher (prob like .25 damage points or something) and are more accurate.
  2. Imo the only monsters worth hunting nowadays are: -GWD -DK -KQ For GWD, you need much higher stats, or a team that is willing to split with you (they might not due to your stats) For DK, you need a team/friends. Higher defense helps. For KQ, you need much higher stats to solo (near maxed), and if duo you should probably be around 105cb + verac.
  3. Buy them as needed. It's an infinite stock, so there's no point in buying huge clumps at once. I'd say buy 5K at a time. I personally buy 25K at a time, but then again I have money to blow on range.
  4. You make money off of MTK herbs. They pay for themselves.
  5. In that case, the prayer cape and hits cape are arguably the best capes in the game/better than fire cape. ~400K until I get my hits i dont really understand why... if we say u got 29/99 prayer and use the prayer cape, u will get 29/100 so it dosent really matter  You will get 30/99. Why are they the best capes? Free healing and free prayer restore, without taking up any items or inventory space. Saves you 3 sharks per hour, or 1/2 a prayer pot per hour. Comes in handy when you're camping in places like Fight Pits, where the hits cape will heal you probably an additional 150 HP, or 2 Brews. 2 Brews makes a difference.
  6. It is the best, yes, but it is just mad expensive, somewhere around the rates of 6gp/xp for both magic and smithing. (It costs 600 per superheat, assuming you sell your bars 170ea)
  7. Bandits are not AFK. They give very good xp rates aside from the fact that they're easy to train on. If you want the best possible xp/hour, try the 74 bandits and use prayer and super potions.
  8. In that case, the prayer cape and hits cape are arguably the best capes in the game/better than fire cape. ~400K until I get my hits
  9. I think you misunderstood the question. Assuming I already have a 99 and the skill cape, can I use its Operate function whenever, or when I am only at 99/99?
  10. I am talking about the achievement capes here. Can you use their operate function whenever, or does your stat already have to be at 99 in order for you to use it?
  11. What he said. Use DScim + Defender.
  12. 10.000.000.000 hours of mining Anyway, herb has allways been kind of fast, the problem is prices Getting rid of your finished pots and finding mass herbs was always the hard part. Someone isnt a serious herb trainer :-w
  13. Jagex pretty much messed up the trading system with its management of who gets to fill transactions. I have had a Chinchompa offer above the average price open for the past 3 days, no Chinchompas. I can only presume someone/groups of people has "camped" Chinchompas, purchasing 100K and not allowing anyone else to trade.
  14. I don't call a "skill" that requires a monkey's intelligence to be hard. All it takes is determination, and something to entertain yourself with. Any average joe can do that. What is hard? Try winning tournaments. Try 99 Farm (this requires a remarkable amount of planning, or just a plain sick amount of cash). I think Jagex fixed the prices on doses so that there isnt arbitrage opportunity between pots. That is, (4) and (3) pots have the same average price per dose.
  15. Qeltar -- you cannot write the "give it time" argument off completely. Much of the current market turbulence is due to rich skillers that are and have been using the GE to buy mass unfinished products (i.e. herbs), process them for xp, and sell at a loss. As a result, there has been an influx of finished products and therefore a price decrease. However, once these "sell-at-a-loss-to-get-mass-xp" people stop training or reach their goals, the prices of finished goods will probably stabilize / go back up. I do agree, though, that the GE is extremely flawed in its price caps. It's f'ridiculous.
  16. It's insanely fast, but it is also insanely expensive. With current trends, there will probably be a large gap between herb prices and pot prices. By far, it is not a "free" 99 (like Cook/Fle) even with the GE.
  17. I did this for a while (I didn't AFK though) since bandits was getting crowded. I've died using this method; PKers sometimes walk by it. is not illeagal, having a program to do it is, this method is that you leave your char there and start doing something else on your computer, because, when the axes stop being agro (means aggressive) your account will log out, while using a program it won't, that's the difference No. If you are not in front of your computer, it is illegal regardless of whether or not you are using macro programs.
  18. Not really? I'm doing the normal method, only adding poison to my ammo. I will be using addy (e) as well. Theyre only 600 ea! Perfect against 360's/Jad after I poison them.
  19. I lost about 2M of net worth due to GE. Still, I am not complaining. I am willing to pay 2M to never deal with merchers again.
  20. Sell the knives and buy bronze ones.
  21. No, for all cases with opponents that have high defense, Verac > whip. And anyway, dart is best
  22. How would you know? :? Mechscape's logo is decent, but it's not extremely up-to-date. It is simply fitting for the game's subject matter.
  23. Bronze Knives > Kebbit Bolts Bronze is significantly faster than Kebbit.
  24. Dart > Verac I believe. I have 96+ melee stats and I still sometimes find it hard to hit.
  25. I heard bone bolts were nerfed. :-k They now only give ~20K/hr.
