  1. Yeah, cannonballs are great fishing exp... As others have said, rocktail (cavefish if you can't do them) are ideal for afk fishing. Decent exp, a little money, and possibly the most afk activity in the entire game.
  2. Oops, read cks as ccbow. Derp.
  3. ...Why would you get rigour and eeks before ccbow?
  4. If you ever farm herbs, scroll of life or you're flushing cash down the drain. If you ever mage (really think about this too, because uses for mage aren't that common in this game), arc stream is godly. However, most people don't mage enough to justify getting arc stream before rapier, IMO.
  5. Wait for the demon ashes update. A new way to train prayer can mean two things: 1) it's good and raises the supply of prayer exp significantly 2) it's crap and nobody ever uses it If it's 1, prayer exp will get cheaper. If it's 2, it'll stay the same. Nothing to be lost by waiting.
  6. +1. That was an ooolllld bug.
  7. Assuming by "for it to count" that you mean xp, you need to go through. There's no action for opening it, just going through and getting the xp. Huh? You don't need to go through doors to get the xp at the end of the dungeon you just need to have "opened" the room so you can see what's inside it. Last I saw on solo any bonus room I "opened" but forgot to go in I didn;t get the xp for. I think perhaps people are doing this open but not go in business on teams and someone else is going in thus netting the team the room. but I could be wrong. You really, really need to stop answering dungeoneering questions. You are so completely, ridiculously wrong. If there are no ?s on your map, you get full bonus room exp. Common knowledge.
  8. Get all of top row the same color (do this by flipping the tile below the one you want to flip) Get all of next row the same color So on until you only have 1 row left, then force the rest. Should pretty much never be more than 3. There are other tricks you can use to speed it up/save forcing but this one gets the puzzle done with minimal thought if you're bad at puzzles.
  9. Yes. Honestly, it's probably best not to pay attention to the gritty mechanics like that. There are a lot of weird and arbitrary things that go into that number, so it's very hard to control. It's definitely calculated individually each floor though, so what you did on f1 will never affect your exp for other floors except in that it gives you an extra prestige next reset.
  10. That prestige value varies based on things like the size and difficulty level of the dungeon, so on c1 solos it'll be extremely low. What you're looking for is that you still have prestige 30- if you do you'll get the same amount on the higher floors as you're used to. Nothing to worry about.
  11. As others have said- technically RWT, but who cares.
  12. If you aren't concerned with trip length, there can be no argument. Dragon defender is better.
  13. Personally I prefer defender, especially if you can flash soul split. It WILL give you a shorter trip than obby, generally speaking, but you also get more kills/hour. Considering the fact that it only takes like 7 minutes to fully regear and get back in with killcount, more kills/hour vs kills/trip is better at Bandos than, say, Arma. If you do end up with a tank shield, be sure to bring a defender on you anyway in case of crashers.
  14. Which in my last post I said as long as he/she doesn't do that, it's not a scam. And that would not be a scam, however that's not what the OP said. The OP said you'll give a high amount if they double a low amount. So the OP's post is a scam. So the scam is that you're not taking the million coins they're supposedly offering? Yeah, that's pretty underhanded.
  15. There's a difference between committing a crime and taking someone up on an offer of generosity. The guy said he was doubling money. If he's mad that you used his service, that's not really your problem. Doesn't matter if he wasn't being honest, it's not a scam if someone offers a trade to you, makes the trade, and then gets pissed off afterward.
  16. If you know the person who was scammed before, absolutely it would be good to return their money. However, you're saying that because you don't know who to return money to, you should just let the scammer go on their merry way when you could make them think twice about scamming in the future? Very logical.
  17. You don't know who that scammer stole from or what they stole in the past. You don't know if they've done any scams at all. What you do know is that right now, they're walking up to you and trying to scam YOU. You can walk away, fall for the scam, or scam them back. I see no reason at all why you should fail to turn the scam back on the scammer. Letting them away scott free when you could have taught them a lesson is in no way a moral highground.
  18. Dexter is innocent. That's actually an interesting philosophical debate. If person A does a bad thing to someone, then person B does that same bad thing to person A, is person B bad? Big value call there, really. This is slightly different. This is a case of person A tries to do bad thing to person B, and person B reverses the situation. If someone tries to kill me and I end up killing them in self defense, that's different from killing someone who killed someone else first. Hell, this isn't even a scam by any reasonable definition, because the scammer is OFFERING A MONEY DOUBLING SERVICE and OP is ACCEPTING THAT SERVICE. If they didn't want to give away free money they should have thought about that before shouting about how much free money they're going to give away.
  19. It's for tech-savvy people to diagnose problems with the client. If you don't know what it means, don't worry about it unless you have a problem running RS and someone helping you tells you to type something in the dev console and tell them what it spits out. Until then, free notepad!
  20. It's a better temporary notepad than the actual notepad. I use it while dungeoneering to remember what doors I've gated. If you mean uses it was intended for, try typing /help to get a full list of commands, and then try them all out. Displayfps is by far the most useful command.
  21. This except, PROTIP: you can pot up during the countdown lol.
  22. Don't sit at 600 lp then and keep your prayer low. You should be praying melee at zammy. I'd rather get hit a 400 every 10 hits then a 300 every other hit. You need to try strategies before you knock them. His melee attack is extremely inaccurate. With a divine and slayer helm (greater demon task), I can literally live off soul split flashing on many kills, and essentially never eat with a unicorn out unless he gets spectacularly lucky. When praying melee, not only are his normal magic attacks fairly accurate, but his prayer break attack will NEVER MISS and also takes a big chunk out of your prayer alongside hitting 600+. When he does it to you back to back (and he will eventually, it's no use pretending that can't happen), he has a damn good chance of KOing your prayer while you spam eat, and that's not good. His KO potential and overall damage output is quite simply lower with protect magic, end of story. Edit @ above: Aaaaah. Interesting, hadn't thought of that.
  23. Spectral > DFS for Bandos? This is news to me. 20 mage def vs. 20 ranged def and 7 str... Closer than I expected. I guess it would depend on what your other equipment is. With a fury and Karil's top I'd think the mage defense would step into overkill territory, but with glory and dhide top I can see using the spectral. I will say that the last time I tried spectral at Bandos it seemed pretty bad, but it's possible I had a bad run.
  24. You still haven't told me why scamming scammers is bad. It's like saying executing murderers are bad, because then you'd be killing too. Oh you probably would be against that. Nvm. Biggest reason it's justified is that it's an efficient money maker. There. That's different - there's a whole legal system for that. (Also, the death penalty isn't active in most states - if any. Maybe texas but I don't think they've executed anybody in a while) You are in fact scamming - you not only targeted the scammers on the market but also people who didn't do anything as you said yourself. All Tip.it is trying to tell you is that - there are tons of way to make >250k an hour without risking your account. If you try to log in one day and you find that your account is banned or even if you get hacked - don't expect sympathy. You brought it upon yourself. I seriously doubt Jagex would ban someone for trading with a scammer and avoiding being scammed.
  25. It's not scamming if they've said they would double that 1m to 2m. You're saving them 1m if they're being truthful.
