I think it was around 20. I didn't do a whole lot of mining, was still messing around with inventory setups. Not very helpful, I know.
  2. Okay, no. You're saying that if you kill more things before the soul gazer that will affect your likelyhood of getting the drop from the soulgazer. That's the same as saying that if I'm trying to flip a coin and make it come up heads, I should flip a bunch of coins beforehand to get all the tails out of the way. Doesn't work that way. No amount of coin tosses with any set of outcomes will change the odds of a future coin toss- even if I just got 50 tails in a row, it's still 50/50. Same deal with monster drops.

Seconding this, I was getting 80k while screwing up regularly (forgetting to repot, messing up mousekeys, etc.)

It depends on what you're doing. You mentioned solo, so I'll assume that: you want max magic defense, which means full arma/pernix and spectral. The only exception to that would be divine > spectral. For prayer, it's a tough choice. The question isn't whether rigour is better-- it absolutely is-- but whether it's better enough to make up for not being able to soul split to full hp on the minions each kill. I'm not really sure, but I can tell you it's close. Soul split gets you longer trips, and rigour gets you faster kills.
  5. You will not see a single crasher who doesn't use, at the minimum, arc stream and CoG or SoL with fire surge. You will not stand a chance with slayer dart, with or without arc stream.
  6. Put in an order to buy something for high so you can be sure it'll complete, and write down what it sells to you for. Now put it in to sell low and write that number down. Compare the numbers. Are they relatively close? If so, buy a little below the instant price and do the same for the sell price. The buy price should obviously be below the sell price. Give the items a little while to buy, but if they don't buy within an hour or so (unless you're flipping very high value items like partyhats or higher spirit shields), you probably put it too low. If the original two prices you get were a significant distance apart, it's a bad item already saturated with flippers, and you'll make very little profit flipping it. Try a different one. Don't ask people for specific items- part of flipping is spending money on finding good items that very few people are flipping. Asking for an item to flip is like asking for people to destroy their earning method they paid for.
  7. This sounds like garbage to me, similar to the whole "omg drop reset" when a boss drops a gem and everyone wants to hop worlds. When you kill a monster, it rolls a die to determine the drop. Simple as that. Rolling more die before the soulgazer is not going to change where the soulgazer's die lands. I'm sorry your lost your hhb though, that's horrible :(
  8. When you can't find something in real life and have a momentary impulse to try the bank search feature before you realize you are not at a computer.
  9. Unicorn is great for Corp FFA, TDs, and as a backup familiar after your BoB is empty at bosses. If the team you're in is good enough that whatever boss you're killing is easy, unicorn is generally okay to bring in place of a BoB, as you'll be able to live off its scrolls easily. When you're really pro, it's also a reasonable alternative for boss solos instead of bringing a BoB. For example, I usually just bring a unicorn to Arma solos because I end up chewing through a yak full of brews and then being able to last on no food once my unicorn is out, so why bother with the yak full of brews stage? Cheaper to bring a unicorn and can last until I'm bored either way. But yeah, in general unicorn isn't that fantastic.
  10. You can log out to reset the boost to a full minute, so one stew boost can be good for tens/hundreds of overloads if you assemble the ingredients beforehand and are diligent about logging on time. Not a big deal to boost once and get 100+ overloads out of it.
  11. Stew. Damn you Cheesy.
  12. You should never make another tradable potion- focus on overload ingredients all the way to 99. I made like 800 4 dose overloads getting 99 herblore and thought "whelp I'll never have to make those again!" They're over halfway gone. You can't make too many overloads/super prayers/super antifires/spec restores, they're all investments rather than money down the drain like a tradable potion would be.
  13. DBA is the best leach spec for Nex. Saves super str pots for using BGS on the blood phase.
  14. +1 Absolutely nothing wrong with my net either. Just crappy RS servers. Does the auto loggout after 4-5h still exists? >.> I get random loggouts too, even when my internet is still active. Autolog does still exist, but that's not what I'm getting. I'm talking, sitting there doing a dungeon and suddenly RS is all like trololol connection lost, and I sit there explaining this to my teammates in skype, which does not lose connection. Or I'll dc while soloing something and load up a webpage in another window to see if it's my connection or not (it never is). Internet perfectly connected, RS randomly dcing me anyway. Gotta be the server.
  15. What do you think a grave and the ability to bless one's grave is for? To give you a second chance. Not a guarantee. If they wanted a guarantee, they wouldn't have items lost on death. This is completely off point. I had a guarantee that if I got to my items in X time they'd be there, and a glitch stopped that from being true. I'm warning people about that glitch.
  16. +1 Absolutely nothing wrong with my net either. Just crappy RS servers.
  17. I hope you didn't mean me  If you did, then I'm sorry. All I did was ask if blue or red was better and the only answer I got was "use green or GTFO". Anyways, thank you for the posts Grimey and Sir. It was just a simple question, and your information was all I was really looking for. GREEN IS THE BEST COLOR. No but seriously there's a good reason why I said what I said: if everybody in your team did what you plan to do, the boss would never die. She'd heal more than you guys hit with multitarget blood spells and you'd be stuck there forever. You will be leaching.
  18. So let me get this straight: In Dungeoneering, you go out of your way to get max gear when it's in no way practical. In overworld Runescape, you use crappy equipment because you're afraid of not being able to get back in 15 minutes. Lolwut.
  19. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people stake with the shield slot off.
  20. Nex

Nope. Turm doesn't do anything because you always use normal prayers, but she's impossible to kill without overloads, and nearly impossible to damage without ccbow.
  21. And monster hunting. Pretty much the only places where overloads are more useful than turmoil are Nex and TDs with rigour.
  22. If you don't have extremes yet, those come first. Then turmoil, then overloads.
  23. :wall: Relogging is such an obvious solution. Derp herp. I'll keep that in mind next time.
  24. I clicked to go down the slide and then quickly right clicked the pile so the menu stayed open as I slid. When I reached the bottom and was able to move, I clicked take chaotic crossbow and at that point was able to re-click the pile to get everything else. Stan- I fixed it, didn't lose the stuff. Thank God.
