3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
I can't begin to speculate on what the market will do when free trade comes back. It's been a long time since items have moved independent of the GE, so prices can be a lot more wild than before.

Money/hour at solo mage dks?
That would be way annoying. There's no good way for a mage to go and pick up supreme drops without drawing the attention of prime. He'd be better off just getting his rex drops and you getting your prime drops.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
You talk like there's some secret group of players who are in charge of prices. The crash happened because people wanted to sell their lower rares on the ge and found that they couldn't do it for min. That means nobody wants to buy lower rares at the GE price. That's not the sort of thing that can be orchestrated by a group- if there was legitimate demand then the 50/50 offers would be ignored. What happened is simple- speculators hoarding lower rares gathered that free trade was coming back, and that means old accounts with stocks of rares coming back and bringing their rares into the market. That means a crash. So they dumped their stocks, creating excess demand and, by extension, panic. Now, players who have a significant amount of their net worth invested in lower rares are looking at losing half their bank and are desperate to get rid of their rares at any price. Meanwhile, very rich junk traders are looking at the prospect of hundreds of millions of their junk becoming absolutely useless for trading in the near future and need to get rid of it. The two markets mesh perfectly. The people with enough money to ride out the crash holding several lower rares without tying up their entire bank in crashing items buy all the lower rares, and the people with too much of their money tied up in a rare to watch it crash sell theirs.

Claws vs Extremes
Oh yeahs, which makes me ask, would I use ZS or Ddef + LBS? Z spear or Korasi's and d def.

Hiring Fishing Peon
Quite apart from anything TVC related, I think using yaks would just be straight up a lot slower than power dropping. It's a waste of time banking for yaks and summoning potions.

Hiring Fishing Peon
Small inventory at first due to yaks and summoning potions, would have to bank periodically for more. Not effective at all.

Ava's Alerter
I'd like it if it were a little more fair. Out of the way locations like Lunar and Arandar are fine, but come on... Mieyerditch? Some people automatically have to spend 10x as long as others getting their free elite due to bad luck? That's messed up. Yeah, cause the center of Fally would make it more fun. [/sarcasm] It's the whole randomocity that I enjoy. (Like all those invisible ghosts hiding around) Again, random difficult locations are fine. It's when some people get a random location under 20 seconds from a teleport (penguin glacier) and some people get one that requires wandering around for half an hour just to confirm it really isn't there (Mieyerditch) that it becomes really annoying. Randomly screwing people over isn't fun in my mind.

I'll start the bidding off at 4m/hour :P

Claws vs Extremes
Claws are very much an extra to get after you have turmoil and overloads. They're a great help when you're doing pro boss soloing, but nowhere near the advantages of getting those skills up. A DDS is usually not much worse, whereas extremes are ALWAYS very helpful EVERYWHERE you do combat.

What do i bind for my second bind in dung?
Show me this "proof." There aren't enough crush-weak monsters for maul to be worthwhile unless you're still on ice floors.

Chaotic Question
21 minutes for 24k exp at 47 prestige is horrible. Let's say he got a really bad team and took 50 minutes getting through a 5:5 large 47 (remember that these people have high enough dung levels to do 47 as well). Then let's say he had to bankstand for 10 minutes before they even left, bringing it to an hour. THEN let's say he died once. Even with all that stacked against him, he'd have managed at LEAST 85k exp off that same floor in only 60 minutes. If he had a decent team he could have easily done it in 35 including time getting the team together, and not died. A likely floor total would be 95k+.

What do i bind for my second bind in dung?
It is not always better, as I stated before. It is a proven and known fact having a mauler on a team is helpful. Their attack rate is slow but they hit HARD even compared to a 2h. You really need to stop talking about dungeoneering. You were giving false information about it on another thread a while back. You're 59 dung. You haven't even started the skill. Stop.

Ely is min in GE, divine is unbuyable at GE. Divine is a whole lot more expensive.

Ava's Alerter
Mine's not in any of the locations. I'm extremely pissed off that I just wandered Meiyerditch for half an hour for nothing. Even after I finish that annoying quest it still manages to be the worst thing ever.

Chaotic Question
If you're never on more than an hour, you probably won't be able to team until you're past 80. Low level teams often take over 50 minutes to finish a dungeon, and when you count the time it takes to find a team and actually start the dungeon, you'd be cutting it pretty close just to try to finish a single floor. If your team is fantastically stupid they could easily push you into the 1:20 range. Solo medium dungeons. I'm pretty sure there's a good solo DG guide on these forums, poke around for it.

Mage Arena spells
Just one, and like I said Claws of Guthix is your best bet for fighting monsters.

Mage Arena spells
Go to the mage arena and talk to the guy in blue robes about it, it's pretty self-explanatory. You'll need some coins (forget the exact amount, but it's under 100k), and casts for 100 of the god spell of your choice. You also need some other offensive magic to kill a really easy boss. I recommend unlocking claws of Guthix and then getting a void mace from Pest Control/Conquest. Not only does it have the most useful PvM effect (draining defense), but it's the only one compatible with a damage boosting staff.

I mainly use mine to expand my inventory at slayer and TDs (have to bring fewer prayer pots to do the same thing). It's quite handy. Fire cape is still better if you can fit enough prayer in your inventory without cramping yourself though.- Serious investing help please!
This. Riding a santa back to where it was a few days ago will take a minimum of several months. It's a bad situation, but IMO the best thing is to keep it min in the GE until free trade back and pray it sells. You definitely don't want junk because free trade will ruin it, and after the ge limits go away min will be no good either and you'll be stuck. If you manage to get it sold min in GE that'll put you way ahead if you decide to buy one down the line when free trade is gone.- What do i bind for my second bind in dung?
Ditch maul for prom 2h (which, contrary to what someone else said, is better than a maul whether you're in a team or solo), and bind a platebody. When you find a shadow silk hood, ditch platebody for that.- New RuneScape trailer
Because this video is in no way representative of Runescape. They made a Generic Fantasy Game Cutscene and stuck the RS logo on it.- Extremely expensive items vs. free trade
False. I recorded twenty bots on the same world (same clothing too, with numbered names) in Port Sarim hugging the willow trees. It was quite a disgusting sight. They were worms running around the entire place. Yews had at least four or five bots on them at any given time. This only because bots weren't advanced enough to camp green dragons, chinchompas, etc. for money. You don't see woodcutting bots as much anymore because woodcutting isn't nearly as profitable as it used to be compared to other things that can be botted- the market has changed and the bots have changed. The pileup of bots at green dragons and living rock caverns is absolutely ridiculous. They're just as bad as they used to be, they're just better hidden now.- Extremely expensive items vs. free trade
You can buy money too. It's quite easy. Buy a crashing merch item for min at the GE, sell to RWTer for trade price. Repeat until you have the cash you bought. Switch to another item if necessary. The way the GE stubbornly sticks to its trade price regardless of demand makes this form of RWT laughably easy. - Nomad's Dead.
