MORE PRAYER HALP (GUILDED ALTARS)
Search "gilded altar" on the RSOF. You will get threads made by people who ill allow you to use their gilded altar, usually for free. Also, someone is usually alching in their house so that they can light the burners. It is a good idea to donate to whoever the house belongs to in the form of items you don't need, cash, or marrentils.

Summoning: New Skill or Add-On
I don't think that the Life Runes will be used in the skill, I think that they were mentioned just to give some background on how summoning has developed from an idea to a reality.

Ring of Wealth?
This belongs in Help and Advice, but the answer is yes, it does give you better drops. Significantly better drops? I don't know. I would still wear one over a berserker ring, which costs ~2m because that only increases your strength by +4 (or +2?), which isn't very significant either.

Cook gauntlets
I thought there's 9 subquest + final battle, and the final battle requires all other subquests finished first... I haven't done the quest though, just the monkey part :XD: Whoops, I was wrong. There are 8 subquests and the final fight. To get rune gloves you need to complete 7 of the 8 subquests.

You need access to ancient magick, 50 construction, and a portal room in your house.

Cosmic Runes
I find that using the Zanaris bank is a pretty good way to craft cosmic runes. Use energy pots.

Why are cakes good?
IIRC, you can't actually die from agility besides the wilderness agility course, because you keep on taking less and less damage as you have less HP left, until you take no damage at all.

How wierd are tornaments!
95 and 91 are pretty close. The combat system is still random, and though you will have a better chance of winning if you are 4 combat levels higher than someone, combat levels can be deceiving, (Maybe I have 65 prayer and you have 52, it will add a couple of combat levels but not much of an advantage) and you will probably win only 60% of the time.

Dragon Chain Drop
The drop rate from the KQ is about 1 in 100 I believe, while from dust devils it is somewhere between 1 in 12,000 and 1 in 20,000.

The plural of shrimp is shrimp, and he meant chinchompas.

Monday Poll: Have you ever been scammed by a friend?
One of my real life friends, who I will not name, (and who's forum name rhymes with jerk) has borrowed money from me several times and has not payed it back, which is kind of scamming me but not really. In his defense, he got key-logged so he needed the money more than I did. One of my in-game friends has pestered me for money a lot and tried to guilt me into giving him money when I got lucky at barrows. I'm kind of glad to say that he isn't on RS much anymore because he turned into more of an annoyance than a friend. To be honest, I feel bad that I helped him and then he couldn't function in RS without my help (I would help him mine ore and do clues and quests etc.)

Range trainging 63 to 70
I'm a melee noob. I have 80/80/80 melee stats but only 63 range. I really want 70 range to wear black dragonhide and Karil's armor, but I really dislike training range. I can think of two ways to get that level: iron knives or a cannon. With Ava's Accumulator could I get 70 range with only 2k iron knives? How much would cannonballs cost? What are other ways to train range quickly. PC is out of the question.

The dragon scimitar, is it worth it?
3) The dragon scimitar is not at all more accurate than the dragon longsword, and certainly not "a huge amount more." The dragon scimitar is actually less accurate than the dragon longsword because it has a lower attack bonus. (+67 vs. +69) Also, the dragon longsword is more versatile with its accuracy because it also has a +58 stab bonus which can come in handy against monsters weak to stab (and in one quest, Spirits of the Elid, I think). 4) The dragon scimitar's special attack is next to useless in PvM. It only makes the attack more accurate by an amount that neither the RS KB or Tip.it will say, but I would estimate at only around 10-15%. Its special is ok in PvP, but the dragon longsword's special attack is still better. You can use the dragon longsword's special attack 4 times in a row without recharging and each of those 4 attacks is better than one special of the dragon scimitar's. The special attack of the dragon longsword increases accuracy and damage for one hit by another value that neither the RS KB or Tip.it will say, but one that I have observed to be around +25-35%, a high amount, for both. Saying that, I still agree that the dragon scimitar is better than the dragon longsword in a PvM environment because is gets 3/2 the attacks. I think that the dragon longsword is better in PvP, though, because in the duel arena you only need at most to do 99 damage to your opponent (most people play without food and drinks) and 4 potentially high hits will get you very close to KO'ing your opponent. Also, a lot of people only duel with prayer off, thereby further weaking the special attack of the dragon scimitar. I'm not going to be stuck with either weapon in the wilderness, favoring the dragon dagger and whip. I'm not even going to step into the wilderness anyway for that matter, so for me, the point is moot. One last comment: Is this really the right forum for this thread? You aren't asking for advice, and this seems like more of a debate thread to me. If you didn't mean for this thread to be a debate, then sorry, this is the internet, you can't expect to be able to post your opinions without someone trying to shoot them down. :XD: EDIT: grammar/spelling

Most Important Combat Skill?
Because rangers rule the F2P wilderness. Also, everyone in the wilderness needs at least 40 range for green dragonhide in F2P.

What do you think?
It's your own decision to make. Personally, I would go for 99 fishing and plant rannars at the same time, but that's just my opinion and you should do what you want to do.

Is my teacher mistaken?
Not in summer anyway. No one ever says degrees Kelvin. It's just Kelvin. EX: 273 Kelvin = 0 degrees Celcius

Monster Slaying - Money Making
I recently got 80/80/80 melee stats by training slayer, and now I want to get my prayer level from 60 to 70, to use the best stat-raising prayer and to have 100 combat (99 now). TO do this, I will need about 3-4 mil. I wanted to slay monsters to get that money, like DK's or the KQ. Does anyone have a good suggest for what to do or wants to team with me? I also have 76 magic and only 64 range.

I think that it's Dharoking at Ape Atoll. I've heard of people getting 100k+ XP/hour there.
