  1. I find that I can alch exactly every 3 seconds, so I can get 20 alch in a minute, 100 alchs in 5 minutes, or 1200 alchs/hour. Realistically, though, you can't make that many because sometimes you will click it too soon, or you will get distracted, so I usually assume 1000 alchs/hour if you are paying your absolute best attention. For the new animation, click exactly after you hear the sound stop. Don't try to anticipate when the sound will end, because you will end up clicking too quickly. Rather, click when you actually hear the sound stop. It definitely is 3 seconds per alch, by the way. I've alched a lot of stuff as it is my main way of training magic so I know what I am talking about.
  2. I think I have some purple sweets lying around. Thanks for the help guys! :)
  3. I have another crystal bow that I bought after I got the picture. I sent you a PM snowycards
  4. well I thought that I might be able to get a nice tip.iter to lend me a fury for a little while *hint hint anyone?* +I'll switch out for the accumulator. I don't like training range so if anyone has suggestions for how to do that maybe I'll try to get 75.
  5. I'm thinking about going for a fire cape. I've read Muggiwhplar's guide a couple of times so I feel pretty confident that I know what to do. I'm wondering if I have good enough stats and equipment to do it. note: I have a 2nd crystal bow that I bought after I got the pictures. I also have another range potion and a super defense potion that I can sip at the bank. I can also have done As a First Resort. So how do you think I'd do?
  6. You could use slayer dart for the melee brothers and Karil and msb for Ahrim. 70 range is optional; 60 is enough. Be sure to learn the tunnels' safe-spots!
  7. Well, Zamorak Pages are awful hard to get now so I would suggest going for Guthix.
  8. Where are the teaks? I'm interested because I heard that you need 75 wc for a quest and I'm looking to get the cape, but no one has said where they are yet!
  9. Actually the fastest method in game is to use the brimhaven gold mine then teleport to shilo with karamaja gloves 3, then pay 10gp to cart back up Ah you got! Completely forgot because I don't have the karamja gloves 3. Yes, this is the fastest method!
  10. mine gold at brimhaven and then use the magic whistle to go to the fisherking realm. then use the nearby fairy ring to bank
  11. actually, the best way to mine gold is at brimhaven, using the magic whistle to go to the fisher king realm and then banking using the nearby fairy ring.
  12. ...servant noun 1. a person employed by another, esp. to perform domestic duties. 2. a person in the service of another. 3. a person employed by the government: a public servant. About lucien being involved in the wilderness quest and "I'll see you up north". Does this mean that we will finally be getting our hands on the staff of armadyl? =P~
  13. Keep your rune scimitar until you can get a dragon longsword or dragon scimitar. The rune halberd has a pretty narrow usefulness, it would only be useful if you wanted to fight monsters slightly above your level that were possible to safespot, but it would have to be for slayer or something because it would be very bad melee XP. A granite maul is also a weapon that is impractical for training as it is much slower than a rune scimitar so it would also offer bad XP/hour.
  14. I don't think there are any boss monsters that you could effectively kill to make money. I suggest doing slayer with Chaelder(sp?) the fairy master in Zanaris. If you got your prayer up to about 50 you could probably mage barrows pretty effectively. The mole is not a good moneymaker, it's mainly a way to get a spirit seed.
  15. I support. 300 or 250 damage sounds about right for someone in the highest-leveled lander. It makes sure that someone is paying attention or at least AFKing on a portal to help their team.
  16. I do not support. Jagex is already being generous enough make a demo of RuneScape free for anyone to play and even offering updates pretty frequently (this month is a jackpot in particular). F2P does not have very high leveled monsters to fight anyway so there is not much of a need for it. Also, who knows what it would do to the dragon armor prices?
  17. I support, farming is already rather hard skill because of the real time component.
  18. I like your idea, I think that F2P's should get some recognition for getting 99 in a skill. I like your idea of the simple capes, but I think that they should also get no emote, no level 100 when wearing one, no hood, no trim, and no defense bonuses for wearing the cape. It should also cost 99k like all the other capes, and players should be able to get them for all the skills that are F2P, so they would have to be gotten from different NPC's, maybe all from the Wise Old Man.
  19. I think that one's hand would get tired if they were constantly holding down ctrl. Also, the key is already the hot-key for running, so it would have to be a different key anyway. Instead how about after you make a fire if the square to the west of you is one that a fire cannot be made in or your character cannot move to that square and the square to the east of you is, then your character moves to the east. So in your example picture after setting a fire against the wall your character would move to the east and then continue moving east as you lay fires because the last fire you lay always prevents you from moving back the the west.
  20. I think that both percent change and amount changed should be taken into consideration. Percent change is very important because when you're investing in something you don't care how much the unit cost changes by, only what percent it changed by. Amount changed is also very important as you explained because if an Item drop 1 or 2 mil that is definitely something worth noting.
  21. I think that the combat system shouldn't be balanced by one method requiring more clicking. That is kinda a bad reason not to give a useful feature to players.
  22. Hmm I didn't really think of that.... do you guys think that it really would make ancient magick users that much better? I don't really think it would, but then again I don't use ancient magick very much and I don't play Bounty Hunter.
  23. Haha, I'm exactly the same. I'm a fan of Firefox. You don't know me at all, but you already think that I'm stupid. How does that make sense? You're nothing but an elitist. But I'm not going to not try Opera because of it. I've tried Opera and I didn't like it as much as Firefox. It's good that you've found a browser that you're happy with, but there's no reason to call the entire user base of another browser stupid.
  24. JaGEx already tried sleeping in RSC i.e. fatigue. It was realistic, your character had to sleep between training. Was it fun? No. Did it add to the value of the game? No. It was removed with RS2 for a reason. Realism isn't always the best....
  25. When I go into full screen mode (at resolution of 1024x768 or above) I can't help but notice that there is enough room for two different tabs to be open at the same time. This would be very useful because you could have your inventory and equipment pages open at the same time for switching outfits, your inventory and prayer tab open at the same time for boss fights, or your stats page and inventory open at the same time for stat+best of bank pics. This would just be really all-around useful! Click this to see a picture of what I mean: http://i34.tinypic.com/1gss9h.jpg (It would have stretched the page if I put Image tags around it) Maybe if you left-clicked a tab it would open on the left side and if you right-clicked a tab it would open on the right side. If you left-clicked a tab when it was already open on the right side (or vice-versa) it's page would switch places with the other page open, or simply switch sides if there was no other page open. You would need to click a tab with the same mouse-button as the side it was on for it to close. So, what do you guys think?
