Buy some iron knives and kill yaks. Buy maybe 5k and if you don't use that many you can sell the rest back. Make sure to use Ava's Accumulator. You won't make any money, but it's much less expensive than cannoning and much faster than blue dragons.

That sounds pretty interesting, but how is JAGeX going to ship these devices to people all across the world? And how does JAGeX know that the account owner is getting it? And if someone has one, is each one registered to an account? So you still need to know the password and user name, but you also need to possess the device? Is it small enough to carry around and tough enough to not break? What if someone tampered with the device to cheat the number system? It just seems like too much effort for the tiny bit of extra security. And it could potentially cut down on the "play anywhere" aspect of RuneScape. Maybe if it was optional, so you could order one from JAGeX for a one-time fee of around $10 (including shipping).

To mine gold with rc: Wear an air tiara, a rune pick axe, and a brown apron. Withdraw 28 rune essence from the falador west bank. Run to the air altar and craft your essence into air runes. Then run to the mining guild. Enter, and fill the rest of your inventory with gold ore. Bank in Falador and repeat. You might get faster banking by using the explorer's ring to bank in Draynor. You can also add some gold to your inventory in the beginning and buy eyes of newt at the magic store in Port Sarim instead of mining gold.

JAGeX stated that getting 3rd Age was less likely than getting a champion scroll from an imp. When I get a champion scroll, I'll start doing every single clue I get.

that could be it. Since he can't drop trade the gold over anymore, he could just be waiting until you hit level 100 (or something pretty good) and think that you will reach it faster if you are member.

I think that it's funny that people will think of anything they can to believe that they are better than someone else. Why do people do this? Maybe they feel worse than others for some reason? Maybe some F2P players are frustrated and think that their efforts are fruitless because no matter what they do a P2Per who plays the same amount will have a stronger character. So they convince themselves that they are proud of their "disability" and that they are better than the P2Pers. And maybe some P2P players think that their achievements are marginalized when F2Pers achieve the same thing with slower methods so they insult the F2Pers and say that they are not supporting JAGeX by not paying. They convinced themselves that they are better than the F2Pers. Personally, I have been a member for three years and since combat level 30. It been a lot more fun to be a member to me than a non-member because there is so much more stuff to do. I don't think that I would play RuneScape if I wasn't a member anymore. I strongly suggest anyone to become a member if they can because I think that it is much more fun than F2P. I think that it is kind of silly if someone refuses to become a member because they want to be 100% F2P, because they are only denying themselves extra fun! If you can't become a member because you cannot afford it or if you are a minor and your parents won't allow you to get it then I understand, but otherwise I suggest that someone is a member from day one. Off topic: could anyone tell me what cba stands for? It seems to be a relatively new acronym that is popping up all of a sudden, and it seems to mean something like "can't be annoyed" to read the whole thread. Thanks!

I leveled up on killing guards from 40 atk/str/def until 70 atk/str/def, and I did every level 2 clue scroll that I got immediately after getting it. I never got a really rare drop but the occasional adamant armor (g) or god book page made me a bit of cash. Also, the week or two after bowlers were released I made a ton of cash getting 2 different bowler hats a couple of clues apart. That was all before Uri clues though. I hate getting Uri clues, and after getting at least one each clue, I decided to stop doing them. I might still do the occasional level 3 clue with the hope of getting something worth 1+ mil but I definitely won't do one every time I get one or even at the end of the task. What I'm really hoping to get is a champion challenge scroll. I can't wait to get my first :thumbsup: .

how could you make it more secure? The only way I can think of is being able to only play from 1 IP address. Playing 1 hour after requesting is stupid. Making 20 characters minimum is also a bad idea. What needs to be required is a mix of capital letters, lower case letters, numbers, and symbols.

That looks like great stuff to drop! Enough stuff to make people go home happy and several elated at their new dragon items, but not too much to break your bank. I also love the "teaser" drops like the steel 2H sword :mrgreen: . Don't let people drag you down, you can celebrate for whatever you want or for no reason whatsoever!

It was always possible. Getting multiple metal dragon tasks in row was horrible, although I could Burthorpe them then. Now I have to do metal dragons because I need the slayer points :ohnoes: :-# . I like the double tasks, though. Nothing better than 2 aberrant spectre tasks in a row! :thumbsup: :mrgreen:

Actually, for some high level monsters you get 4.25 or 4.5 XP per damage (I don't remember which). I know that you get the extra XP when you fight barrows brothers, but I don't know where else.

haha you got some bad advice :shock: That could be for staking... I heard that 70 atk 40 str 70 def was good staking stats. For a pure, I'd suggest 40 atk 70 str (at least) and 1 def myself, I would go prayerless unless P2P and then I'd want 52.
