I've been slaying quite a bit, and almost all of the tasks drop at least one clue scroll. However, recently I have found them less and less worthwhile to do. Granted, there are some great rewards, but they tend to be very rare. Most of my clue scrolls are valued at under 100k, so it begs me to ask the question, do you even do clues any more?

Well, you never know what you'll get, the random reward of clues is what makes me do it. is so great you'll never know if you'll get rune trash or god armor...

I don't even pick them up anymore. Waste of time.

I always keep a level 3 clue on hand, and do it when I'm just sick of doing whatever training I'm up to at the time. It's simply not worth taking time off from something else to do them unless you would just log out otherwise.

I do all of them, but i enjoy doing the clues regardless of the reward. But my rewards havnt been to bad recently either.

I still find it worth doing but never leave in the middle of a task. When you finish the task, just go ahead and do the clue, it averages about 15 minutes for like a 100k reward and then there's the occasional 5m+ reward which really nice.

Level 3 clues are just frustrating now.. I tend to get a pathetic reward not near worth the effort put into them. I hear level 2s are good now, though.

Well, to be honest, about 90% of Runescape is based on luck.

You'll profit on any clue, so yeah.

i recently just went back to the HAM hideout and did some level 1 clues

 

made about 600k in around an hour

 

best stuff was: wizard hat(t), Green ele legs, black platebody(g) and black kite (h5)

 

so that was a nice profit

 

but recently I've had really bad level 3's that took awhile

 

meh It'll never stop me from doing them

And like 6 months ago lvl 1 clues were enough to get me all my money...now i dont know..

I skip them now. They're annoying, and the rewards are getting weak. -.-

I still enjoy doing clues. Yeah, I don't particularly enjoy doing the puzzles nowadays, but I always hope for a great reward out of them. To be honest, my money usually comes from clues.

They ARE worth doing. Sometimes you get lots of bad stuff but eventually you will have a good streak. Like mine sara kite and robin in a row and Guthix cloak and strength ammy (T) in a row.

 

Also i like them because they give me a break from training.

I still do all of mine, but yes, the price of pretty much everything has dropped in price. The rare expensive items that you can still recieve make them good to do. You never know when the very rare and expensive items will show up.

I still do all the clues I get, just in case. But I'd never hunt for clues again. The rewards are just terrible unless you're the 1 out of 10,000 that gets a 3rd age item. I rarely break 30k in my clue rewards. And if I do, whoop de doo, I got a rune plate.

i believe clues are still worth doing, got a gilded kite while i was reading this, sold for 850k :-w

I do em, because the only thing I seem to have good luck in anymore is clues. Just about all of em I do, I get an item or something like almost 2 full rune sets to make up for it. You guys dont have to do em, that just means more items to go around for us clue-hunters.

I always due them, even though they take a lot of my time (don't concentrate on them, so clues lasting an hour are no exception :P) and the rewards so far have always been rubbish, out of 211 lvl 3's the best item I got was a zamorak page back when they were 150k each.

 

 

 

I however still do them because else i can't stop thinking that I might have 'dropped a 3a kite ^^'.

I pretty much get a clue, and leave it in bank for ages, or untill i get a hellhound task. So far, i have gotten only good rewards from them, last one was guthix helm, and only had 2 steps (wtf)

I always do them, partly because I enjoy them, but mostly because even if you only make 100k from alchable rune items, you still profited.
