NJE03
My suggestion is is simple yet useful one. Currently when burning you always go to the west, I suggest that hold ctrl while firemakeing would make you burn to the east. This way we could burn back and forth with smaller space required. I support; a lot of the good lanes can get pretty crowded. Was annoying when I had to switch worlds because of some inconsiderate jerk. I understand your pain. Some people really like to get on my nerves. (ie. I'm happily setting fire to my willows when some NOOB comes and burns a log in my path. He then says Lol noob and does it over and over.) :x I totally support this idea.
calum12
Yay! =D EDIT: you need to change it to a differetn button, as ctrl+click=run. Hmmm.... I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later. Probably.

NJE03
Yay! =D EDIT: you need to change it to a differetn button, as ctrl+click=run. I realize that this it the run feature, but this suggestion would not affect that. Example - You hold ctrl then click on a log and a tinderbox you burn east. It would not affect the running feature. Thanks for the feedback. :) [spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011: Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering -
Trahybyen
I don't see what bad could come from this. It sounds good. Except why restrain firemakers to holding down ctrl to go in the opposite direction? Why not just have the character move in a different direction depending on where there's room after they've completed a row? So if you've burned a complete row to the west, at your last fire, you go north, and then since there's no more room to the west, your character starts burning east. At the end of this eastbound row, if your fires from the original westbound row are still standing south of you, you go north again since there is no room to your south, and vice versa. If there's an obstacle (a building) keeping your character from going north after finishing his first westbound row, he moves south every completed row and continues that way instead. ...If my suggestion doesn't make sense... I'm not much of a firemaker anyway. :( *sigh*There is a link in my goals picture. <--An Unnecessary Update:O

Harrington
Yeah, it's a great idea. I would be especially helpful when some noob thinks they're being funny when they block your path with a fire of their own or by building their cannon.
