I get this Teleport Random, with the Abyssal space unusually often when i'm teleing from Blues to Falador.

I thought of this update ratheer as a disadvantage, because it will effectively kill the unid buisness, a buisness i used to play a lot. Somebody raised an interesting point though: It might lower Kwuarm and Rannar prices, because of increased supply. From the mechanics the update doesn't bring any benefit to me, because i know how to use anti-scam and can id any unid i find right away anyway. Overall i'd say the update makes sense though, although maybe it would even make ore sense, to remove iding/cleaning alltogether.

I use England and UK synonymous, using England more often then UK. I know it's wrong, but meh... It's just convenient: Eng-land, Deutsch-land (Germany), Hol-land (Netherlands), Russ-land (Russia) and so on.

No, water is one atom away from being hydrogen peroxide, or H202. Though, I forget how that works out. Can oxygen have an oxidation number of -1? Obviously. It's unstable though. That reminds me. You can also have oxygen with oxidation number of zero. I think recalling my professor in inorganic chemistry said that some vitamins catch free radicals. (Also i think mostly these free radicals are oxygen atoms.)

Don't you know? Terrorists created colors, so we would be distracted by them. I like deep colors.

So, if you were lazy enough would you do this?

You are right. This will lead nowhere otherwise.

You aren't supposed to copy&paste discriptions from that site. Just say something about yourself and i'll see if i can associate it to an astrologic symbol. Btw the birth date is less relevant then most seem to think. Birth time and place are hugly important. The example statement can't be proven without birth time and place. Also don't call me a fraud. I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm just making an experiment (or trying to) for fun. Although i'm grateful for any input on how to improve the experiment, you didn't have to smash a huge, irrelevant post right into my face just to derogate the whole topic. Also the things painted in green are what you perceive to be not vague. I couldn't even tell if the greens are correct or not, however everybody can tell if the sun is in the idk 74th house in your birth chart (most likely it isn't, because there isn't a 74th house.)
-
We could do that (actually i don't care), but i can't find out birth time anyway. I don't quite get what you mean with "not so scientifc but better then the current experiment".
-
Thank you for posting in the first place, but that's to vague. Unfortunately i can't tell exactly what kind of information i'm looking for. When i had the idea of this thread, i thought about BlueLancer, because living off inheritance was something i immideatly could associate with some kind of astrologic symbolism. In this case the 8th house. I'm tempted to make a statement based on what i know of you from all the discussion threads, but that would be too light hearted and i couldn't justify it in the context of this thead. Sorry

Pain is a feeling that can just as much be imagined as a person. Oh, ok. So almost everyone on Earth imagines the exact same thing. I see now. That would make sense though. Similar minded people always gather. If you were to imagine something else you'd be on another planet. Be careful what you wish for!

There has been some debate about astrology on this forum and as some might have noticed i firmly believe in the accuracy of astrology. That is so, because i think i can tell something about the horoscope of a person, once i know something about the person itself. So i thought it might be fun to make a little experiment. I'll insert the following here: This thread isn't there to discuss if astrology works or not. Here is how it works: You'll tell me something about you and your life and i'll make a statement about your birth chart. You can prove if the statement is right or wrong yourself, or you can give me your data and i'll verify or falsify it. This experiment avoids all subjectivity, because the statments i'll provide are destinctly true or false. Here's an example: BlueLancer is known to have inheritet a larger sum of money, wich he works on for a living. My statement is: His sun is in the 8th house. This statment is entirely astronomic and either true or false. To know what is the case, you can simply put his data into one of the numerous calculators on the web. The relevant data is: Date of birth, exact time of birth (+-5 minutes (to those who may wonder: the relevant point in time is when the newborn draws it's first breath.). you should be able to find the time either in your birth records or the records of the hospital you were born in. Usually your parents will know. As already statet: the time has to be exact), place of birth (doesn't have to be as accurate as the time. usually the closest bigger city will do) I'll use this site to evaluate any statements My expectations: I'll probably get some statements right, yet i'm not a particular experienced astrologist, so i might not be able to provide any statements at all to some descriptions. How many or how little right guesses i make the setup of the experiment only allows for positive evidence on astrology. If i hardly get anything right, this might just mean that i am a bad astrologer after all. If i get most statements right though, it would hve to be counted as evidence for the accuracy of astrology, since my statements rely on my knowledge of astrology only. Remember though that this experiment is mainly for entertaiment purposes.

I didn't like german servers in World of Warcraft. It was a bit boring. I like it when people from different countries are all mixed together. In WoW there were only Germans (, Austrians and Swiss people) on the german servers. To me it's something that makes the internet beautiful: Space doesn't exist. As soon as you start to introduce servers for every language you seclude people from each other again. Once i met a german and we continued to write english nevertheless.

Hm.. maybe it shouldn't bother you too much. It seems like you got your share anyway and you just felt that this kind of split isn't fair to some people (wich may or may not be true. i can't tell, because i've never been there.) Remember that nobody is really missing out. It's just a game. If somebody misses a drop, he'll get over it. If you really want to, you could propose some sort of gentlemens agreement, where people how left early and really deserve a cut, get something. It doesn't even have to be an equal split, just a little something to appreciate their help. Yet as i said. It's a game. As long as YOU don't feel like you are missing out, it's okay.

This is the most annoying thing I can think of when it comes to dog owners. They always think their dog would "never hurt anyone." Of the three injuries in my family that happened from dogs, they were always by dogs that are "usually very calm" and "never hurt anyone before." All three injuries happened while trying to stay as far away from the dogs as possible because everyone in my family hates dogs. Actually I should say there were four injuries, my big sister got injured from the first and only dog our family ever had, which is why my family hates dogs. No wonder that dogs hate you to. That's not sad at all. The dog was on someone else's property, growling at their little girl. Around here that wouldn't warrant a call to the cops, the landowner would shoot it himself. Actually a long time ago my dad did have to do that. 2 dogs were on my cousin's property growling at my older sister (same one who got bit before) and some of my cousins, so my dad had to go over at shoot them. The owners of the dogs came around looking for them, and my dad told him he shot them. They called the cops, the cops got there and saw the situation, and told the owners to remove the carcasses from my cousins property. *shakes his head* You can tell something about people from the way they treat animals.

I say it again. If i were a musician, i would feel appreciation from people going to my concert, from people buying my albums and from people downloading my songs. As long as the money is okay at the end of the day, i'd be fine. Appreciation > Money As a customer i don't care if there are peple out there who never buy a CD. I do sometimes, others do as well. Some may buy a T-shirt and some may go to a concert. All that adds up to something the musician can live off. I do think that all this persecution and lobbying against file sharing comes from greedy peple, who don't ask themselves: "Do i have enough? but "Could i have more?", rather then from musicians who have to starve.
-
I don't think they lied. You can like a dog to... that's how it seems they are treated. If i were black i would get the hell out of such a province.

I didn't play for about half a year. Before i left bloods where about 600gp ea. Nowadays they are rather 500gp ea. That's exactly the price at the shop, when they are out of stock. I always thought most runes (besides cosmics, nats, laws, airs and fires) that are on the market are bought from stores. Now that can't be true for bloods, because obviously you couldn't make any profit off them. How did that drastic price drop happen?

Nice. I hope you can collect an appropriate amount of data. I think it's a bit short though. You could have incorporated more topics. Also i feel some questions should be more precise. For example: Do you believe in the theory of evolution Do you believe in god (i'd prefer do you believe in a god like the christian/jewish/muslemic one. or maybe even better: do you believe in god as opposed to some higher energy) Al Gore said: "...."; do you believe this to be true. What is the highest level of education you have? and so on.

...dieing in WoW is hardly a nuissance. What character are you playng btw? [hide] It used to be an MP3 player with a hard drive and a click wheel, but now they make flash and screenless versions too. Wikipedia: iPod is a brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple and launched in October 2001. Devices in the iPod range are primarily digital audio players, designed around a central click wheel ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã

Mh.. what exactly does an iPod? I once saw one in nature and i didn't quite get what it is good for. The friend who owns the thing, labled it a "lifestyle product". So it's just some tech gizmo i guess that you buy when you don't know what else to do with your money? I guess i can life without one. I got an almost antique cellular that doesn't even have a colored display. I got a portable CD Player that's over 5 years old. I got pen and paper. I got a PC that is way more powerful then i'd need it to be in order to play RS, Civilization 3, watch movies, listen to music, record stuff and write stuff on. No. I think i definitely don't need an iPod.

This story kind scares me. "Oh, dammit! My car broke down. Oh well.. i'll just buy a new, identical one." I love dogs. Our last family dog was put down (is that how it is called?) about two years ago at the age of 16. It was heartbreaking to see this unbelievable energic dog getting old and weak. He was the only one in the family i had the feeling i could relate to, because as a dog he just was natural, not like the rest of my family, who are always acting. My mother pretty much spoilt the dog, so he never went by foot. Quite in the contrary actually. When i went to the forest with him, wich is a walk of about 2 minutes, where i would unleash him, i could barely manage to hold him. He had a neckband (or however this is called for dogs) that would tighten when he puts strain on the leash. He didn't even remotely care. When he was young, he used to wag his tail really violent. It hurt when he hit you. A couple of times he even hit some door frames so hard that he started to bleed and blood sprayed around from his tail. He didn't even seem to notice. We got him from animal shelter when he was young (and i was young to back then). When we played he used to throw me to the ground and then bite in my nouse or in my ears or pull on my hair with his puppy teeth. That wasn't exactly pleasant, but it was the way he was. He wasn't a violent dog. Just completely unruley. He didn't like two wheeled vehicles, like bikes. Once a biker passed our ground, wich is on a hill, so you get pretty high tempo on a bike. I don't know why the door was open, but he ran after the poor man and bit him in his leg. Of course the whole house was in shock and when we invited the guy to a cup of coffee, before he went to hospital, our dog was licking his wound. Once i hold him on the leash, while my mother waspulling out the car, a motorcycle passed and i was pulled behind our dog with my knees rubbing on concrete. That burnt quite a bit. Once he killed a chicken, when my mother was at her horse. He wore a muzzle. Somehow he manged to squeeze the poor chicken to death. Once at my grandmother somebody opened the door, our dog shot out heading for some little dog, took him and broke his neck. He seldom got into quarrels. Maybe it had something to do with the little dog being old and having cancer. Idk. He also ran a lot. I can remember once when we went for a long walk, he even spotted a deer and chased it of course. (Omg. This dog could have been put to an untimely death for soo many reasons. He wasn't though =). Afterwards he was so exhausted. He threw himself in the roadside ditch (i guess it was cooler down there) and looked like he would collapse. After 5 minutes he was fine of course. Ah well.... reminiscence. I'll miss him.

Downloading music and buying an album are two different things two different experiences. I doubt i'd ever pay for a song i download, but i buy an album every now and then at the store. Neither my Mp3 nor my CD collections are big though. Before the internet and before the CD, there were Music Casettes that got copied all the time. Obviously the music industry and the artists survied nevertheless. To me stealing is when you take something away from somebody with the result that you now have the item in question and the previous owner doesn't have it anymore. Downloading is just making a copy, hence copyright infringment. I have to make a comparsion to runescape. I saw somebody in Skeletal Chest and legs and offered him/her a pair of Skeletal gloves. He/she declined, but when i gave them to him/her for free, he/she seemed to be grateful and enjoyed them. From an artists point of view downloading music still shows appreciation. Buying the album or going to a concert are also displays of appreciation. Let's say if i were an artist, appreciation would mean very much to me and as long as i got enough money in the end to live a good life, i'd be fine (and wouldn't mind criminals, who steal my music... They do so, because they want to hear what i did.)
