  1. Kane and Lynch. i'm scarred for life. Bad Gameplay all round, with bad interfaces. Its only rectifiable point is its graphics but compared to graphics of other games, Kane and Lynch sucks. PS you won't believe how many times I mispelt that as 'Kane and Lunch' during this one post.

    4Chan

Of ALL the internet meme's /b/,4chan, and SA forums have produced, she took OVER 9000 seriously? GJ Oprah, GJ. #-o  Oprah really does need to lighten up abit lol
  3. Now Spontaneous Generation is a perfect example of how religion can embrace science. I'm glad you mentioned it. Back in the 1850's or thereabouts the Church endorsed the Spontaneous Generation theory. Louis Pasteur and numerous other scientists worked on proving the Germ theory (Disease is spread by microscopic Germs). It was eventually fully accepted by the Church in about 1890, who were way behind the rest of the society. Think about where we'd be without the Church accepting that theory; no hygiene, less cures for disease for everybody who does not believe in the Germ Theory. And i repeat again. Atheism is not a belief that there is no God. It is the lack of belief in any God. And since when has this been an 'Atheistic World' - its a far too theistic world for my liking. And since when have Atheists had no morals (or wanted to have a moral less world)? That is completely unfounded. All humans have equal morals- believing or not believing in the guy in the sky does not change that.
  4. Then ban heterosexual PDA, too. Exactly. If you think that Gay relationships are imposing on you, simply by being in your view; why do you not think the same about Hetro Relationships? The problem here is not Gay relationships- Its your darn attitude. You just associate gay with negative conotations (unfairly) so you feel it is a problem. Sort it out in your head- Nothing is wrong with being gay. They're not imposing any more on you than Hetros or Squirrels... Just maybe you don't mind Hetros PDA because you can eye up the girl- who knows... The problem is in your head, not the gays.
  5. So long as I have a second or two before the first punch is thrown. I have a nice little sequence of moves which tends to end fights quick. People always forget about the kicks and it really lets them down (and puts them down). ;)
  6. No artistic talent needed for Doodling. Its not about how good you are at doodling. Its more about what you draw which may say something about you.
  7. I always used to draw really bizarre cartoony characters. Hard to describe.
  8. I can understand what he's saying, but the point is that logic is the Best form of reasoning that we have. To say that anything else is a superior decision system without evidence is plain ignorant. Logic has got us this far, despite the setbacks of non-logic. It may not be 'perfect' but the nice thing is that science/logic/reason is willing to change when presented with valid evidence to do so. It changes therefore it can become increasingly more perfect unlike many other non-logical decision systems. So its not perfect but its the best we have got.
  9. Or not. That may be your explanation, but it's by no means correct nor indicative of the truth. ...Oh! I almost forgot. Let's play a little game. It's called "Spot the logical fallacy". 3K if you can spot the logical fallacy in the above quoted four sentences. Ummm... How about... No? The same thing I said above holds true here. That may be your understanding of God but that in no way, shape or form even closely embodies the truth. Simply because you want to play the God of the gaps game doesn't make it so. So explain what 'the truth' is and the support it with evidence and reason. For this exercise i will assume that a god exists; you must prove that your interpretation is more truthful than everybody elses. And just doubly no. I wish I could write no gazillion times, because I would. I just don't have that much time on my hands. A.) You can break down almost all of nature using nothing but numbers. Pythagoras figured this out about 2500 years ago. Galileo expounded on it. Sir Isaac Newton even more. And almost all of modern physics is based on this fact. Really, there's nothing "beautiful, startling and thrilling" about that and I find it really quite startling how you all argue about which point of view makes the world seem the most "Beautiful, Startling and Thrilling". OK, so by scientific and logical approach means you can decode everything (theroretically) into formulae, rules and numbers; and that, for you, may make the world seem less thrilling but you shouldn't scrap logic because you don't like the answer it gives. The answer that is the one you like, doesn't make it truth. The answer which has reason behind it makes it truth. B.) It's impossible for God to be considered rude when speaking of nature, as to do so would be to argue that he imposes himself on nature. Unfortunately for you, last I checked, God is closer to supernatural (Above nature) than He is unnatural (Not of nature). Reason tells us that freedom is bad. Reason tells us it's okay to lie, cheat and steal. Reason tells us that it's okay to be mass murderers. Reason tells us that extorting others for personal use is perfectably acceptable. Reason tells me that you fail to understand that reason is limited by itself and provides no gauge of what is right and what is wrong; what is good and what is evil; what is acceptable and what is unacceptable, etc. etc. etc. And where did you get that idea? This is the anti-intellectual approach of faith. Can you not see that you have been told this by the Church to scare you away from reasoning for yourself? Now the real test here is if you can back up your statements about how Evil reason is by using reason, because that is the only acceptable form of argument- not just statements based on blind faith. Research for yourself (independant of relgious influence) about how logic and reason have eliminated Smallpox, created windfarms and many other revolutionary things. I won't start on your actual statements until you actual give them any weight by using reason. Well, of course it wouldn't. That's not what faith is. Which says more about the inherent evilness of man than it does the 'Holy Texts' (Whatever you define that as). So why are you so sure that your interpretation is so correct and good? "Truly, if there is evil in this world it lies within the hearts of men."-- Edward D. Morrison, Tales of Phantasia Goodness doesn't come from man. Evil does, however.
  10. [hide=] [/hide] 1. Glad you accept that no religion is right. That holds together well in an argument... 2. Religion is made by man; its scriptures, its ideology and everything, and these are made to suit the religions purpose, not to give the correct answers. It provides answers; so you may say it 'explains what logic cannot (yet) explain' but you should seriously think about if those answers are correct based on where they came from, why they were created, who made them, when, and how did they acquire these so called answers? Scientology is an example of a very transparent religion. The creator of it made it specifically to make money so many of its so called 'answers' happen to end up in money changing into the Churches hands. Most religions aren't so easy to decipher as Scientology, they have/had different motives for making their answers. 3. Brush up on your Knowledge of the Big Bang, you seem to have got hold of the very dumbed down version. You could easily learn the full story. You're more than capable. 4. Super String theory being proved either way makes no proof for or against God (atleast not the main religion Gods). 5. In an infinite universe, the chance of any series of rare events is high. Although agreed, we are lucky. 6. Examples of things that religion has taught you (which Logic could not) that you can use practically?
  11. Lol, I just read the local paper which says the School is very proud of me for getting 15 GCSE's...but I only got 13 (which is more than most). Looks as if they've added 2 GCSE's to alot of people's results... Not a clue how they got that idea... but i'm not complaining.
  12. If Girls work in 'imitation'...I better go take off my clothes!
  13. Physics- A*, Biology- A*, Maths- A*, History- A, Music- A, Tech- A, English- A, English Lit- A, Chemistry- A, RE- A, Statistics- B, IT- B, French- C ;) but i didn't get those B's this year. I got em last year.
  14. As much as your expert negiotiation and tactical judgement goes...i don't think you're quite qualified to direct WWIII yet. Sorry.
  15. Yeah the GE and has no problems in itself. But it is associated with the lies and dissapointments of the other updates which came with it- the whole general [bleep] up of trading, Pking and Staking...but seriously don't get me started on that.
  16. Isn't it like how in BF2 and the other BF games that sniping from a distance away you have to aim to the top of their head or a little above and in front of their head to kill em. You must predict their movement. Fire where they are just about to go to. As for the game as in general. The multiplayer gameplay is great but the game is let down by its lack of good interfaces and facilities like Private matches which completely rules out any prospect of proffessional/competitive gaming on the game and the unreliability of the party system and no clan support what so ever.
  17. i'm abit rusty, but i'll play.
  18. Well, i was climbing along behind the fences round the back of peoples houses next to a large open sweage pipe (it was fun- i was like 7) and some parts of the fence were lined with barbed wire. I'm normally a good climber so i could climb well and use what little ground there was to get by... But one part of the ground fell away beneath my feet so I slipped and got caught on the barbed wire, dangling by my armpit, gashed nall the way up my side- bleeding. If i lifted myself off the barbed wire I would fall into the sweage pipe (wish looked deeper than i was tall) so i just hung there suspended for about an hour shouting for help... Fortunately a bunch of Jahovas Witnesses were knocking on doors so they came round the back of someones garden (on the other side of the fences) and managed to lift me over. =D> Was scary.
  19. Age of Mythology + Expansion is still the top PC strategy game for me. It has the perfect balance of econ and military as well as the complex calculation side of the game and the simple interfaces. Then add in factors like God powers and your going crazy with all the possibilities... Not to mention the great Campaign mode and AWESOME editor. Seriously, you can do anything on that editor- you make your own campaigns, recreate films in game, create your own units and design your own cities. Very good game. Would recommend to anybody and everybody. AOE 3 just didn't cut it for me i'm afraid.
  20. A song i came across whilst seqarching my own alius name on you tube. MONKEYBOO! hilarious Link
  21. I think Englishn and Maths should be compulsary ... But at my school, all the 'high flyers' were forced to take a language despite the fact that almost all of us were underachieving in our languages- due to bad teaching and group complacency. Most people (including me) took French and Tbh I would be very lucky to achieve a B. I'll probably get a C. This looks terrible on my CV (so I may not even include it). If i had been given the option to take Geography instead I would have no doubt got atleast a B- if not an A/A* but no- the school knew that barely anyone would take a language by free will (because everybody knew the teaching was poor), but to keep the teachers in work, they forced a language upon us.
  22. You're basically telling all of us you have his mind-set then if you think he should die a horrible, painful death. Throw him in a containment cell, isolated. =P Yes, i don't know why people think death is such a bad punishment-solitary confinement is so much worse so is a muchmore suitable punishment.
  23. Turtlebeach X3. My 360. My 25" LCD screen. Me. Not over expensive but perfect for pro-gaming
