There are alot of real-world references in Runescape thou, they just use it as a kind of 'inside humor'. If (s)he finds Summonign offending, then what about killing 'animals' and 'humans'? Games != Real Life. yeah, he complains about runes/ rune essence and doens't even realise that runes were originally associated with black magic and satanism. If we had to remove any content to do with satanism, i would argue we had to take the other extreme aswell and remove christian references; as both can be equally harmful at extremes. Mind you, not all satanists are all that bad. Its more for show than actually doing anything harmful (other than lighting afew candles in a basement). :XD:

Also i don't trust themn to deliver a reasonable 1v1 system, because they won't want people RWITing on it; so its unlikely that you gain enemy items. They will have a big catch to whatever they will do to replace PKing; just look at BH for the evidence. :ohnoes: :uhh: :

Well i think it is to do with summoning... People speculated that maybe demon ashes were needed to summon demons, so maybe jagex are trying to stop people summoning demons the easy way by making ashes harder to get? :o Jagex do everything for a more subtle reason than some may think

well since they released photos of obvious pets like dogs, monkeys etc of course your going to have pets! :-s Ok, yes they have fighting monsters aswell but not 'hitmen', they don't run round assasinating people for money. Just fighters, not hitmen. Anyway their not gona be pokemon either...you'll just use life runes to summon then and then tell em to fight, or to collect resources/aid skill or tell em to follow you (pet). Simple as. :

jagex says many things, btu does differently or in a twisted fashion. look at the duelling update; Oh whooppeee duelling tournaments... Nice twist...

Sounds VERY resonable, the only way some one could confirm this is they compared the exp to there farming exp to see if they match. If these is true then it dosen't mean that its coming out anytime within the next few days, it just means there serious about this and making sure it lives up to what everyone will think...(With out bugs in such) Look at Beavis545, dragonchest0, culatr77, jojo61570, setegibernau , doorknowit, rynex. THey all match. Some of the others have trained farming so their xp no longer matches.

Sounds like a reasonable theory. Do you have proof though? Were you on the list, or someone you know, and had the exact same amount of exp for farming? I'm not saying I think you're lying, I was just wondering if you had anything that we could see to back it up with. This is interesting to me, I just wanted something to take a look at. What was the large red text for? Look at Beavis545, dragonchest0, culatr77, jojo61570, setegibernau , doorknowit, rynex and some others. However afew of them seem to have trained farming alot since and are no longer at that xp. The one that i find wierd is 'Oj'. He is not on the highscores, not even with a 0. I feel he could be a jmod account. : And the red text...well i use it from time to time to make people look, if i have a relatively short important point. :lol:

I'm not one nnto know much about them, but godswords have decreased in price, and are still falling since the duelling update cos they have very little use now. Are you sure your idea of the price is up to date? And yes, the GE is terrible on knowing true prices. So you may have the price that people would pay, but the GE is too crap to allow you to do it. :roll:

Actually, none of these people have any Summoning xp; their 'summoning xp' is based completely on their farming xp. Jagex have just entered some peoples farming xp into the summoning hiscores to test that they work. :D

As much as i hate discussing famous players, just because he has the highest stats doesn't mean he has played from day 1. im not saying he played since day 1. He just has alot of time on his hands, or nothing better to do. So do you. Playing runescape and pokemon. =; I just wonder how many more RS birthday's he'll see go by... Surely he can't stay on till the end; he'll have done everything by then.

Thats how i wish it was. But with jagex removing parts of the game rather than adding to it (Duel arena, wilderness) ,removing the bits that i'd play how i like. We are confined to skilling (which i've done my fair share of already- rank 15 hunter) and i'd like to play for fame like i used to, with staking videos; but i can't, many elements of true skill have been taken away. With less to do after yuo've completed all quests, and all the skilling that yuo can bear; there is no 'afterplay' which i used to like to do. I also can't play it how i'd like to with trading; with crazy limits, price floors and starting prices. GE means that you can't play the game how you like, Jagex makes you play how they like. Blinnd yourself if you will, but if you care to look: You don't play it how you'd like to, you play it how Jagex likes you to...and if the two are very similar, consider yourself very lucky. -.-

Perhaps some chose to be lazy... But if i wanted to do things without interaction with other players, i may aswell play a single player game; and there are better single player games out there. We want a multiplayer game, but GE, because of its limited prices may aswell be an NPC run giant shop. Also there is less interaction without wilderness and duel arena.

? So does it or doesn't it work? So just to clear things up for people like me who scratched their heads for a while as to what you were on about... He's saying you buy gold objects from the Pyramid plunder at the GE, then sell them for more to mr templeton, after you have been allowed to igve him noted gold objects.

Good ideas/fixes, but wrong forum; gotta go to Suggestions forum. Haven't rread them all but skimmed over, and they are sensible and would improve things :)
