The middle finger
Some theories include English longbowmen fingering Frenchmen to show that they can pull a longbow; this is related to french people cutting off the middle fingers of Englishmen they catch so said Englishman cannot use a longbow. Or I heard one about English noblewomen not wearing rings on their middle fingers. Really, a significant amount of the gestures we use are just meaningless gestures unless you know the context behind them. They have to KNOW it's supposed to be offensive, something which most people you're likely to run into will. Really though, humans being human, we're bound to come up with gestures to use in an offensive manner, among other gestures used in other manners. The finger by itself is almost meaningless; finger someone in a bar and you'll probably get a different reaction from fingering someone on the street. If you finger someone in a car, most people probably won't react; if they do, they have some anger issues going far deeper then just the middle finger from a random stranger. Do I care? Depends on the context of where and why I get the finger. If, say, I got the finger because of my poor driving, and it was really bad driving, I'd feel bad. If I got the finger from someone passing me while driving like 10k/h under the speed limit on icy roads, I don't care, I don't want to crash my car. In a bar, it depends on what else came with the finger, and other factors such as levels of alcohol consumed, being conscious of what others might think would have a significant effect. Basically, I'm saying it's complicated.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
That's an option, yeah. It's very easy to just pick up surge runes along the way, though, and the majority of your worth to the team will be in dealing with mages and bosses, so I'd say just keep the arrows and find/make surge runes. Matt Marche snatches battlemage from CSBers sometimes because he finds a way to mage every floor. ;) Matt Marche should teach me to mage like a pro. He's a 2 minute man, and not very proud of it. Damn though, I wanna see what that title is called.

The 1,000,000th Money Making Thread
Barrows is the closest thing to a boss you could probably kill. Non-combat ways include herb (it's not as profitable as it once was but it's still decent) and the afore-mentioned mort myyre fungus.... non-combat money making methods are pretty slim to be honest.

Waterfiends weapon
Lol. Torags Hammer is the only other high-ish end weapon I can think of that can train defense using crush attacks. Unless you want the maul. Honestly, get the maul or give up on training defense at waterfiends is what I recommend.

Here goes. Starting from 0. Double my score, still 0. Napalms rule leaves me at 0. My name does NOT contain an underscore, although it will contain a rhyme or more. +100. Multiply it by the vowels in my name. 3X. 300. Since my post has a rhyme, multiply by 44. 13200. Do I get a prize now? New rule: divide your post count by the number of posts in this thread (up to the point where you hit the "reply" button.) Take the remainder of that and add it to your score. Or, to put it simply, mod your post count by the number of posts in this thread and add it to your score. If that's too difficult, just put "Squab is too hard for me" somewhere in your post and add 10 points to your score.

Cold War?
I have no idea about the quest, but I've heard that you don't need the quest to start penguin points, you just talk to Larry at the zoo. What you need the quest for is getting double points for some of the harder to find penguins (if you're on a skilling pure, chances are that only applies to wilderness ones. The rest of them require combatic quests or just dangerous areas for a lvl 3. Or whatever level your skiller is.)

High School Election
Seriously. Candy. And write your name on the candy too. But yeah, candy. Go with Candy. candyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Everything I can think of summed up in these quotes. Mostly it's about name recognition, and associating your name/name recognition with candy. Popularity contest. Whoever is the most liked wins. Sort of the opposite, but not really, of real life elections; whoever is the least hated wins. /cynic

Maging Iron Dragon
I ice barrage them on occasion because I like maging  I'm just a magic obsessed nub. Definitely gotta barrage them again when I get a chaotic staff lol. But, in terms of slayer exp, it's generally more efficient to melee them. Frankly, mage isn't as weak as you think, judging by your stats it might even be faster* for you TO mage them. But, magic is much more expensive then melee. The DPS can be comparable to melee (although probably not with maxed melee, extremes, turmoil, chaotics, etc) but the main issue with mage in PVM is cost. Imo, I think you should try out mage because it's actually kinda fun** pwning stuff with mage. *Maybe. Don't tar and feather me if I'm wrong anyone. **According to me. This is just my own personal, biased opinion.

Riiiiiiiiiiiight, um, I'm assuming that the only rules I should be working with atm are in the last post, in which case my score is 100. How about you only calculate your score from the posters last post here, or sees_all1's last post here, whichever you prefer, unless you have no posts here in which case just sees_all1's last post here? Suggestion for actual game rules in original post rule idea. Um... multiply your score by the number of vowels in your forum name +1? My score (0) + 100 * (3 + 1) = 400?

Considering we're dealing with imaginary numbers, I'm not 100% positive the answer is actually one. ANYWAYS... Follow the order of operations when calculating your post. 4 ^ 1 * 2i + 10 + 5 = 1 * 2i + 15 = 2i + 15. EDIT: Damnation. Gimme a minute. EDIT2: Ignore any and all rules that causes your score to be -1, 0, 1. If your score ends up as -1, 0, 1 due to a combination of rules, you may choose what rule(s) to ignore so that the resultant score is not -1, 0, 1. 1827. Also, sees_all1, you gave yourself 2673 points when your postcount is 2671 o_O P.S. Taking out irrational and imaginary numbers makes this so much less fun. I totally wanted to mess around with Pi and Euler's Number.

Nice try. Also, I'm assuming quotes count for the character limit, bringing me far over 40. Do I get points for "correcting" the post because he broke the rules? New rule: Multiply your points by the root of -4. Points for this post: 38i.

Tormented Demons Drop Rate.
Not to mention the dragon chunks are actually rarer then claws.

too little bots
If every bot in Runescape was smited and Jagex found a full-proof way to immediately detect any and all bots thenceforth, cutting yews/magics and fishing sharks would still be horrible money. The best "low-level" moneymaking methods in Runescape can be done by the second day of an account's creation. By the time a player got the woodcutting level for magics, a smarter player would have made tens of millions with relative ease. If WCing was still horrible money, then no one would do it. There has to be a reasonable rate of income for any legit player to do it, or else no more logs in market, and the price would get higher and higher until there's enough profit for some people to decide it could be worthwhile to do. ATM literally no actual player is spending times cutting yews. There would be pretty much no more logs coming in if every bot was banned. Basically the point I was trying to get across. Although I feel the need to point out that some legit players actually do cut yews, especially in F2P; however, there's probably 1/4 or 1/10 legit players who cut trees as opposed to botters.

Should the Chaos, Nature, and law talismans and altars be used by Fp2 Players?
Well one better then none. F2P would also need the 'What Lies Below' quest in order to access the shortcut. There's no other members skill or quest requirements so it would probably transfer over easily. Otherwise the chaos altar is a joke, honestly. What shortcut? They don't need a quest. They can have the original wilde route + maze. Unless you go through the abyss or get tabs, you gotta hit the maze either way.

I gave up reading because everyone was posting Like this. ...Seriously, you don't need 5 blank lines between every line of text.

Posts by users who's tipit name matches their RSN are worth +10. Points for this: 14. And yes Saradomin_mage, you only get +4.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
Just pixels asked for an altar 50 minutes in. There were 5 bovis logs and cash at ht. I proceeded to build bovis traps all around the altar spot. Yeah really, just because your team sucks doesn't mean you should make things worse by intentionally derping. No, that's not what I meant. At 50 minutes I would probably start randomly screwing around, too. I meant that Tui is one of the fastest keyers in DGS, even with a less-than-perfect team, so that team must've really dragged their feet to give her a 50 minute floor. Wow. Yeah, 51 minutes is like MY average floor when I key in DGS. Which has happened at most TWICE. (Me keying that in DGS that is.) A time like that either means the keyer sucks or the team REALLY sucks. I mean, I'm far from the best DG'er, but wow... Also, didn't realize Tui was a her. Especially considering how often she gets two most damage titles. Um, why DON'T they just have a most damage title? For whoever dealt the most damage? Much simpler then worrying about getting Berserker and battlemage/ranger one.

Slaying Bronze Drags
Assuming unlimited prayer and unlimited anti-fire protection, yes. But the flowers thing is idiotic. You'd have to bank like every 3 kills because every kill would take you 15 minutes. Actually, your best bet for a weapon is probably the Brackish Blade, followed by the leaf bladed spear. Maybe whip, dunno how accurate you'd be on them. I'd say weapon preference for you is probably Brackish Blade > Whip > Leaf Bladed Spear. Anyways, prayer, anti-fires (normal kind since you can't make super antifires), super set and anti-dragon fire shield. Go for a fairly high prayer bonus setup.

cost of herb and prayer?
Keep in mind, level 86 is also about 4X the exp you need for 70.

Creating Squares - The Grand Exchange
I don't get how people do this. At the very least, I'd need some unlimited item mod and and super uber destroy obsidian in one hit Adze (you know, hatchet/pickaxe combo.)

The Steel Dragon Guide (Outdated)
Was kinda thinking the same thing in relation to your post. Yak/tort are infinitely better familiars to bring so you can bank the bones, or just bank more per trip. After all this is a guide on making money off steels not a slayer guide. His point was that they aren't great money. Dragon bones add to profit on a slayer task, but alone are a horrible reason to kill them to begin with.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
To be fair, I went Rapier first and I've regretted it ever since. 1) I never asked for what's useful where. I know precisely where each of them is useful. Probably better than you do, incidentally. My point is that saying "everyone should get rapiers first" is an over-generalization, and not entirely true. 2) Chaotic crossbow can be gotten before Rigour for hunting Nex. I know OtG and PiD aren't very open to the idea, but many tests have proven that, if used properly, Ancient curses are actually very effective at Nex. When we did a trio and got 2 kills with absolutely no Pernix items, we had two people on Ancient curses. On the other hand, Chaotic crossbow is an improvement no matter which set of prayers you choose to use. Not true! I also train non-combat skills and do some Dungeons. :D And Corp. Of course, chaotics are completely useless at Corp, for non-combat skills and Dungeoneering. What's OtG and PiD o.O

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
To be fair, I went Rapier first and I've regretted it ever since. Reading comprehension please. I know it's good for slayer, but for me, that's all it's good for, and I don't do much of it anymore. I never once said I wanted CLS instead. I just said I regretted getting Rapier first, in response to someone saying everyone should get Rapier first. Fair enough. But I'm curious. What DO you wish you got before it?
