  1. That's very true about the fake women that play. Apparently their all from florida and they will have names like Sarah/amy/Jess. lol. On runescape you can tell the fake girls. Blonde hair, pigtails. And they usually act like a boy. Other then that I kinda don't like being called a guy player. But who else to blame, but 12 yr old boys. But I end up going around with my fiance on rs usually so I don't really get that guy comment much, which I'm happy about. As for me 22/f/nj name is Lisa. I don't quite get it. You don't get pestered alot because you go around with your fiancé in the game? And your fiancé has a much larger, muscular body in the game hence frightening away the immature 12 yr olds who otherwise would harrass you in-game? :ohnoes: When I'm with my GF playing Soul Wars or something, me being there seems to make it worse... Oddly enough. They do it simply to piss me off. Lol. My pixel obviously isn't nuff enough... *Grabs Guthans and AFKs bandits for 48 hours*. Maybe they make fun of you because they think you're lesbians, if your avatar is any judge XD Dere are no gurlz on teh interwebz. I just come to this thread for the entertainment value. In fact, outside tipit threads, I've never ran into the whole "no girls on the internet" phenomena before. The only other place I've seen it said is DGS - a rather tipit based DG clan. SO.

Yeah, I've had my cat go lazy from just hunting hellcats too. ALl I can say is keep hunting.
  3. IF you can water it, it should have some sort of effect. If your farming, put water on the allotment and flower patches, but don't go outta your way on it.
  4. Yet there are far more with 200ms, iirc. Frankly, the only reason we don't have a few thousand maxed players is because we have a 120 skill atm... Because I'm really down to 1 skill that isn't maxed, dungeoning, and I'd like to do something else for levels. Again, it's great to have targets to shoot for... Certainly more interesting than people just ranking on exp. As best as I can tell, your argument there is "I'm bored, Jagex should increase the level caps to 120." When most of the current skills we have are revised so they all offer some sort of useful content at lower levels (at least useful at 50+) and you can get 500k+ exp/hour at 99 somewhat easily in each and every skill, then Jagex can raise the bar to 120. I have nothing against 120 skills in general. However, is is NOT the time to raise it. Someone here said at least 5+ years from now before it happens. I agree with that - Jagex needs probably 5+ years to try to make all of the skills have some sort of useful content, make things less grindy (as in more interaction is needed for it, such as I think the ceremonial swords.) We just aren't ready for them yet. I could make a fairly big list of what I think RS would need to have. Like 500k+ RC exp/hour at 99 RC. THe other thing is, it would be a giant slap in the face to many people who have 99s already. I'd hate to not have maxed magic anymore. Hell, I could spend a few paragraphs on how I think it would need to be (gradually) implemented.
  5. I haven't heard of her. Ohwait, I saw this video on Obt's blog, I thought they were posting a video called friday because someone thought it was friday. At least she's better looking then Bieber in my man-eyes, that's all I can say lol. Can't be bothered to watch the video.

If you're bored of RS, don't play.
  7. all dat alcohol. Congratz! I went to my first bar legally a little under a year and a half ago. Guess how old I am ;) 8 and a half? 8 and three-quaters thank you very much
  8. Then there are wonderful little gems like DGS that help you do well. I was told by a member of DGS that few players, if any, will take you unless you're able to do Floor 30+. Great, if I'm able to do Floor 30+, which I'm not, so until then I'll just be exiled to the Frozen floors where I'll get maybe 500 xp a floor. Sure don't love this skill. Honestly, yeah, you're best bet is just solo/tears/penguins until 59. Um, C6 small or med most of your floors, it's really personal preference. Bind a shadow silk hood if you ever see one.
  9. Honestly, double nats aren't what they used to be....
  10. Yeah, I really think it's dumb to think they would do something so obvious to increase the wealth of particularl players when they could easily do something a lot more subtle if they wanted to. On the one hand, 20000 players playing for 20 minutes adds up to a lot more time then 20 testers could realistically test for; on the other hand, ls/cs'ing Corp really doesn't seem that far fetched. Idk. Does seem odd that they wouldn't test it, but calling it an inside job is just ridiculous. And if they wanted to lower the price of spirit shields, why not just nerf the drop rate?
  11. They'll probably be equal to current skillcapes, other than the ones for each 10 levels. I'm guessing the one for all level 10s will be +1 in all, while the level 50 one will be +5. Obby cape can't drop any lower than it is already, so like that it probably won't devalue much. Uber cape, at the very least, have the combined stats of the SW cape and firecape. Throw in the mage arena cape and accumulator while you're at it. Sy_Accursed and Will_H, can you stop talking about one bad freaking post? Have PM war? Make a new topic? Artisan's workshop. I'm gonna love bringing that up every time someone says they should spend their time on something more useful. Define "ruined"? the vast majority of people I know and speak to when training a stat to 99 are doing it for the achievement of a 99, same as they did before the capes arrived, not the minority who do it for a pretty cape. Your posts suggests that there is a large and real distinction between getting a 99 for the achievement of said 99 and the acheivement of being able to wear the cape for said 99.
  12. all dat alcohol. Congratz! I went to my first bar legally a little under a year and a half ago. Guess how old I am ;)
  13. omg you have a twin that you dung with? Lol Bahahaha... To make this not spam: I'm pretty sure making parties outside Daemonheim was somehow involved in a lot of glitches, like sneaking a unicorn into the duel arena, that sort of thing.
  14. Because those herbs are priced way too high. There was not enough supply to fit the demand. Just wait for the seeds to drop in price and everything will be the way it was. Had it not occured to them that they could increase herbs FROM FARMING? LEIK, AMG. And they could make the juju pots bank herbs like other juju pots when your invent gets full. Devaluing noncombats seems to be Jagex's course lately. Skills are either getting useless or molded into extensions of combat. And yes, I'm mad bro. I personally see them taking many of their game mechanics and trying to make them more WoW-like. I think they seriously wish their game was WoW in the way people play it obsessively and for hours at a time. Riiiiight, because no one does that nowww.... Maybe you can get high off Torstol? Na but seriously I'm glad I have a discontinued item the way things are going. They don't call it Dwarf Weed for nothing. In all honesty though, Jagex missed a great chance with this update. Had they given RoW an effect while skilling (increased chances of double runes while runecrafting, for example, or making it almost like the gatherer ring in dungeoneering) I think it would've given skillers an update. When's the last update skillers had? Even if this is a game centered around combat, a very large portion of the population does not rely solely on combat for income. Making money off skilling should not boil down to just farming. Um, sorry, but if I understand this thread correctly, they just killed farming... And yeah. I used to wonder why monsters carried noted items lol.
  15. Pretty damned sure there aren't. Jagex just completely nerfed the drop tables with this update. Either way, you can't verify that any drops are RoW only now. A lot of new drops are being seen by people using the ring of wealth, but there aren't many people not using the ring of wealth period.
  16. Wealth increases drop chance, doesn't add new ones.
  17. According to Jagex, who would always know and post 100% reliable information on this subject (and have no reason and nothing to gain by saying this, being completely impartial towards this), there won't be any significant price changes of spirit shields, if there are any real changes at all (beyond, you know, the panic sellers of today) They have the motivation of stopping people from quitting which is huge. Divine/Ely are down over 100m atm, we'll see if they stabilize again. Today should be an utter embarrassment. And to think, I was worried that I might have overdone it with my sarcasm... Will that be the case too when most of the supply of high end herbs comes from monster drops? You have got to remember that the herbs people mostly farm basically only came from farming(toad, snap and torstol), but now, there is a source that provides an equal or higher supply of those three herbs, cutting profits by atleast half, if not making it completely useless(seeing as you have to have juju farming potions to farm any herbs anyway). 5k drops of coal and 500 drops of raw sharks kill any chance those two skills had of making money(for reference, you can mine like 1k coal or 150 sharks in an hour). This is jagex basically saying: 'Oh f*** you, skillers' cheaper herblore > skillers making money They could easily have the ring of wealth double or triple herbs from farming. Or some other random item that does that for you. Make the juju farming potion work with this effect, note your herbs, last longer because herb runs would be longer. Oh, and how about massively increasing the drop rates of EXPENSIVE seeds?
  18. If the ring was supposed to be useful, IT WOULDN'T TURN YOU INTO A FRICKEN ROCK!@ Sorry >_> If you want a useful onyx ring, head to MA.
  19. -doesn't piety slayer -bandos but no extremes? can easily sell bandos for 84 herb -soul wars cape? lol -STOLE?!?! LMAO -obviously doesn't understand the concept of exponential prayer drain i posted above please leave h&a and never ever come back again. go Eh, only thing I have an issue with is stole. Also, extremes are 88 herb if you don't want to stew. I personally wouldn't want to stew for standard pots to use on regular slayer tasks. I'd post my thoughts on firecape/SW cape, but considering I had my firecape in my POH for like 6 months because I promised an IRL friend I wouldn't use it till he got his....lol.

Well you're talking to a guy who's never made a pure before either. I don't think any account I've made besides my main got any stat above 40.
  22. Most PKers are asses. Oh [cabbage], I can make generalizations too?!!??!!??! i take offense to that "I_am_Not" is a PKer? Ye who is not is something!? CONTRADICTION! - WARNING - IMMINENT SQUAB BRAIN EXPLOSION IN: 5. 4. 3. *brain explodes*
  23. Sir_Squab replied to Durant's topic in Help and Advice
Well, if you can stand it, you could just keep working on str and become an obby maul pure at 60. Also, you should probably get at least 43 prayer.
