  1. would u still be able to do quests? Most of them, yes would u still be able to meet as many friends? Yes, via clans n' stuff would u know the exact stats of a certain item? Only if it was on the KB Jagex owe much of their success to the fansites. I know I likely wouldn't have stuck this game as long were it not for the enormous amount of information and guides I can get from fan sites. On that note, I hope Jagex give some kind of fansite and/or clan support in the near future... these hardworking fans have so deserved the recognition and support.
  2. Yeah, I thought maybe hunting would make use of them. I'm hoping that down the line Jagex will allow you to raise a hunting companion from the egg... say an Eagle or Hawk of your own? Dunno... Others think that it's maybe part of a new Animal Care skill that's still being worked on. Either way, I hope Jagex come up with something soon... i've got quite a lot of them saved up now.
  3. If you have access, i would recommend the Ogres in the Kings' Training Grounds (north west of Ardy)
  4. Skill that may or may not be coming out in my opinion... Summoning Pet Care Tailoring (the creation of unique bonus enhancing outfits) Necromancy (not the same as summoning, it's corpse exploitation) Can't think of any others...
  5. 5C here in Glasgow, UK. It's rained nine days in a row now... gettin' really depressed :(
  6. I didn't know about the harpoon... glad I read this now, thanks!
  7. Biggest change I remember was the addition of banks. Before then, all you had was what you could carry in your inventory. Best update they ever made, and as such, the most memorable for me :)
  8. I will take a break when I get 66 (only two more levels). Then I will get back to it once the hype has died and the hunting areas aren't so full. I'll then make a concerted effort for lvl 73 (1m exp)
  9. Hasn't made a massive difference in my own life. To be honest, if I wasn't playing RS I'd probably just waste time watching TV or playing some other game. I can remember a few occassions where I've not went out coz I'd rather play a Castle Wars game with a few clan mates :)
  10. Don't know exactly... but I've broken the 1k barrier more than once. You know those games where the portal has a load of spinners at the spawn point but no one can get to them lol!
  11. EASY Firemaking (I can do 200k exp per hour burning yews) Cooking (I can manage 200k exp per hour cooking shark) Fletching (I can do 175k per hour on magic longs) Ranging (Can manage 120k ish exp per hour with a cannon on Dagannoths) MODERATE Thieving (Can do about 60k exp per hour against Knights of Ardy) Crafting (Can do up to 80k exp per hour on dragon hides) Melee (Easily do 60k exp per skill per hour) Construction (60k exp per hour with Oak planks, but expensive) HARD Runecrafting (just can't get to grips with this skill at all) Slaying (can manage up to 15k exp per hour on my chosen asignments) Prayer (25k exp per hour on the Ectoplasm thingy with Dragon bones)
  12. I've been given 12 Wall Beasts by Duradel (Shilo master). So I know how you feel. My best and favourite tasks are Abyssal Demons of course. Despise, Gargoyles, Kalphite, Dragons, Greaters(wild dogs annoy me)
  13. I was pretty additcted to Slaying for a while. I just enjoy the variety and found it difficult to get back into the repetitive stuff like woodcutting, fletching etc...
  14. I hope you're right... it's just such a pointless skill at the moment. I hope they change things so that other players can't steal your Deadfalls, Pitfalls, Traps etc... that gets really annoying after a while.
  15. I'm lvl 64 and managing an average of about 40k exp per hour on a single Dark Kebbit spawn. Gonna do this until I get Dashing Kebbits and see how quick they are. Might try the Salamanders if I get bored, but they're usually too busy.
  16. Remember when you couldn't even say "Fletching" ? Censor has come a long way since then, despite all the complaints :)
  17. Two tips... 1. High defence (or a superdef pot if not) 2. Bring noted food and money (you can unnote upstairs and buy back)
  18. Ok... well explain "Cockatrice" lol ;)
  19. It is supposably a 1 in 10,000 drop. Although according to many logs on the official RS forums, even this has been increased to something like 1 in 20,000 now.
  20. Yeah agreed. However, Jagex have added "Damn" to their list although "hell" & "bloody" aren't on it. Go figure...
  21. Everything Jagex consider offensive is already on the censor list and is starred out as a result. The only way you'd really break the rules is if it's clear you're intending to cause insult or creatively attempting to circumvent the censor (by using control characters and numbers etc...)
  22. At first I really enjoyed it, but quickly got bored of it as it was so slow. I'm level 78 now, and farm exclusively herbs and trees... nothing else. I find doing tours of the entire map, visiting every inconveniently place patch very tedious.
  23. I'm willing to bet that it's a 10k exp per hour skill (like runecrafting, slaying, farming etc...) I think Jagex will learn from Construction and make it a skill where money isn't much help
  24. Mine is named after a characters in a series of novels that I really enjoyed. The series is called the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. It's not my real name lol. I get at least one comment per day asking if it is...
  25. Nice, probably exactly how it will look. Good effort :)
