Great read. I especially like the section describing free players demanding better customer service. I think the customer service side of the game is fine the way it is (given the amount it costs to play). But certain aspects of the game could use better insight, including how to deal with macros and real life traders.

The only one missing from your list that I really enjoyed was F-Zero :)

I doubt that there's much more German players now than when the worlds were introduced. I suspect people are just trying to flee over crowding on the main worlds.

I've only ever owned one account since I've started playing. I don't see the point in investing so much time on one character, just to partially abandon it to start on another. Just feels like a complete waste of time. You'll probably find that the majority of top RS players only have the one account (or very briefly tried another character before realising their mistake).

Rendition - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0804522/ A little disappointed in this one. The trailer would have you believe the movie is actually about Rendition of a terror suspect, but in actual fact, that's just a relatively unimportant side story. The real story (which I won't discuss), is actually pretty awesome, but probabaly wasn't quite enough to make an entire movie from, so they seem to have tagged the Rendition side onto it. The overlap of the two movies is pretty much irrelevant. What a shame... they could've had something special there. 2/10 for the Rendition story , 8/10 for Abasi Fuwal's story.

Yup, in a nutshell really lol. Guess we're gonna have to wait a good bit longer before there is clear winner and we can eventually spend our hard earned money ;)

I'll post a pic later, but I went with a combination of what I thought looked cool, but mainly something that was very uncommon. I find people often go for similar looks, but I want to be an individual so that's my main focus when choosing a look.

I spend the vast majority of my time slaying, so I very rarely see any bots. Even when I do, I'm very careful about reporting them. If you just randomly report people, then you are abusing the rules yourself. You need good reason and proof to report. So I only do it when I'm certain of the fact. (and a lvl 3 who refuses to talk isn't always a bot you know).

My whip and Guthans are the main things I've owned for the longest. Although I've earned 50+ whips since then so I may not still have the original one I bought lol.

I recently had cable install an extra box in my study so I can watch TV there whilst on the computer lol... definately the best way to relieve boredom. I even bought a cheap DVD player with a USB port, so I can watch stuff I've downloaded whilst doing "Click and forget" stuff on RS. If there's nothing worth watching, then I fart around on a miminsed window, using forums such as this one, mess around on Bebo, or browse new sites. If I'm doing something that requires a lot of attention in game, I usually just log into clan chat.

There's a few skills I'd like to see, but I have no preferred order of release. I think Summoning will likely be released as yet another section of Magic. Unique skills may be, Tailoring : creating clothing that gives set bonuses. Science : a technological opposite from magic? Music : creating and playing instruments. maybe give moral bonus or something Moral : another dimension to combat PetCare : obvious.... and maybe give us a use for those bird eggs lol Necromancy : not summoning. This involve usage of corpses.

Most people I know haven't heard of Runescape. When I describe it to them, they're usually politely interested. I've even managed to get a few people to try it out. But they all say the same thing.... "The graphics are ****" lol.

Like Mercifull said... totally depends on the source of statistics. If either format had a REAL lead, then they'd be the first to publish those stats and we'd all know about it. Gotta keep the shareholders happy... and not mislead them (Like Dreamworks did). What I'm trying to say is that if one format truly did have a clear sales lead, then trust me... they'd be the first to let everyone know. These "independent" stat collectors are for the most part, being encouraged by the individual formats with backhanders and other incentives. Even the honest ones simply aren't collecting the data correctly.

Alien Resurrection Didn't like it all that much the first time I watched it at the cinema. I'm a big fan of the Alien series and was let down by this one. But watched it for the first time in about five years, last night and strangely really enjoyed it. Gotta love those xenomorphs lol

I was slaying at kalphites (my most hated task). It was going well until someone else ran in and deliberately started attacking the same kalphites. I asked "Manners?" and was rewarded by a torrent of abuse and insults. I was almost finished anyway. So I went to the bank, withdrew my cannon and returned. What's more, after more insults, he hopped worlds. Stupidly, he had private on, so I followed him to two new worlds before he finally figured it out. Manners cost nothing... a valuable lesson.

I experienced Deja-vu quite often when I was younger, but not so much now. Anyway, everyone knows it only happens when they change something in the Matrix.... ;)

I can't believe it was only a year ago.... it feels like so much longer. The new capes have definately changed the way i play RS. Before the capes there was little reason to advance skills to such a level. In fact, when they were released, I had only one lvl 99 skill. Since their release last october, I have gained an additional 7 capes lol, bringing my total to 8.
