why everyone skips nechs? With chinnign they provide lots and lots of range xp (attack th minions for more accuracy).

anybody? dark sickles also seem to be gone from the walls.

Hi there, How do I get to the myreque hideout in sanguiste region? for this item.
-
so if I'm correct: evading isn't possible anymore - other than cancel the treck?

Gem bag is hardly ever usefull: you need to have at least 2 gems "a trip" which are combined worth taking. (IE 2 ruby + or lots of lower gems). I'm unsure which slayer monster actually drops this: even abbysal demons I found it not worth the inventory spot. - It does combine well with tasks where you take a ring of wealth. Maybe nechs? On the other hand: it's dirt cheap, a gem bag is 1 c2 small dungeon for me atm.

Viggora - remember him boosting about his "skills and rank in the army" quite a lot. However the whole miniquest is about "alliances" and "who sides with who". - Just like Azzandra sides with you, as he needs you to build zaros' empire again.

We've beaten Nomad in a fight, though obviously not killed him. I don't think he'll be in the mood to form a pact with the PC. Those 'things' from DT where killed in the quest, remember? The goblins could be usefull in mass numbers (cannonfodder) but we would have to use Zanik to rally all goblins of the world to fight, which I doubt she would do considering the extremely high casualty rate. Well we "beat" him, however immediatelly after the quest came out rumors started he would actually help. True, but I'm just rambling: all great forces are resembled in the fights from the majharrat - except the slugs. Well from the stories of bilrach where he sided with demons, and the stories during collecting of ghostly robes. (A human was very high in command under zamorak while zamorak was still a mahjarat).

nomad's cape made prayer not really a problem anymore.. ANyway, from the meta gaming I'd strongly recommend getting a rapier instead of a maul: a rapier is much more versatile, and the difference between rapier/maul is very low at waterfiends. Especially when combined with ardy cloack + dragon defender.

What about nomad? Also mahjarrat are known for forming pacts with "lesser beings" if it fits their needs. Or what about all those things you encounter during desert treasure? - Or what about the goblins after chosen commander? And even maybe, the slug? - The stone of jordan really seems like a binding thing through runescape, and the slug is a big force that seems to be "left out" of the god thingies till now. Might actually be binded here. We beat the queen, but they seem to have a "hive" community. And like many insects a new queen is chosen when the queen dies, we didn't find a "reason" for the slug existance, so it's only normal to expect a slug to return someday.

No it's not, stop spreading misinformation. As long as it's 1:1 it's fine. Hey, let's just make it so I use the scroller on my mouse for each key.. And I limit the inputs to x/second. - Now I have your script with "1:1". Yet all I do is keep scrolling down. Is this what is considered "runescape"? Playing by simply scrolling the mouse down for X hours to achieve a level? If this is what you think is a good game I suggest you read a bit about "game design". And understand the difference between "following rules to the letter" and "in the spirit of the rules". Using what you posted is simply not in the spirit of a game: it might be that jagex can't ban you for it, or even it may be correct to the letter of the rules. But please, please can we as tip.it take the stance away from this - and decide what is considered in the spirit of the game? Tip.it is a fansite, and hence should hold high standards about what is considered "fair gameplay". Flawed analogy is flawed. You're using the same input for multiple outputs with your example. One mouse scroll down tick can only be linked to one specific output for it to abide by the rules. hey then lets put all those outputs on "1234567890" so I only roll my finger over those keys. Really, the whole idea of those "hotkeys" is against the spirit of the game, and should never be recommended to anyone on tip.it. What is AHK? What I described above can simply be written into any language, ranging from C to javascript.

anvil in western ruins in wilderness? Anvils near kuradal? Anvils in the metal dragon resource dungeon?

My signature still applies it seems. Or maybe http://homepage.mac.com/steveklein/hangman.html

I've updated ahappyseeker's list: green I'd throw away (on top of what he marked).. Blue means he marked it, yet I would keep it (mostly things that might be handy sometime, and are annoying to collect). EDIT: forgot to mark all greegrees: do those all away except for 1 (small ninja)

Well if you look at my post in the picture thread you see I got exactly 999 nests.. I putted 5 on wc, 5 on herb and 5 on mining - and left for multiple years. Other resources didn't seem to have such a cap.

How I wish those times were still there... Evading rc pkers was my favourite hobby (gained 91 rc somewhere at fall 2007). Really rc pkers made rcing the least monotonous skill, and it actually made me proud be capable to train this skill quickly. With zmi, graahk and whetever else rcing has just become another boring click-fest skill. Wish all skills were like old abbys rcing.

I really hate that shadowforger, he seems to always KO me with that slime (or ko me while I'm eating up)

Dungeoneering. All activities. All bosses. Merching/flipping. It's not that easy bro. A dungeoneering guide is useless There are no worthwhile activities Bosses-click attack, pray whatever, drink prayer pots/eat food, wait for spawn Merching/flipping-buy items, sell for a higher price Guides always have their place: they serve as a way to teach people faster than they could experience themself. So they increase the common knowlenge of runescape. But if you think guides are useless: don't read them. However this isn't a rant about the usefulness of guides on itself, this topic talks about how guides should be presented so they cater most people. I honestly wonder WHY people even make video guides: they seem more difficult to make (lots of video editing needed to get all cases in an easy-to-watch video). And good guides aren't valued for their fancy-ness, they are valued for their content.

400 days, no 99s - major "screws" by jagex (I decided to train all skills and like 4-5 times a big update came after training that skill - looking at you zmi). Do I get a cookie now?

Everything is hence " possible" in rs: just a lucky streak of misses needed :P. However I doubt it's feasable, the 360's can 2 hit you, so the busy (or double 360) waves easily ko you.

I've still have to find a video guide which I actually found usefull.. As said videos do have their place to extend guides, however how can anyone really learn something from a video alone? You can't watch a video at the same time when you do things, and videos only work for a easy linear sequence of things. If you are beating a monster and you have to use a certain technique for each "part" you want a quick reference for each part. Not a long video where you have to look for 2 minutes to see the part you are beating now.

Depends what tasks you do. Obviously I am not going to get enough charms for 200M summoning from slayer because I use all effigies on slayer and don't do waterfiend tasks. Just for your information: when I was 78 slaying summoning was added. I have the opinion that in slayer you should not skip tasks. During 78-89 slayer I've gained the charms for 1-90 summoning. So if you stretch this playstyle out, you'll see that you easily get charms for 200M summoning xp from slayer.

Goal justifies the means? Are you trolling or that much of an egoistical person to only care about what you do?

It's accepted because the pros of having bots in the game far outweigh the cons. Add to that the fact most people on this forum are over the "chop yews for money and xp, and buy 99 cooking for respect" stage where botting has a negative impact. If bots were positive surely jagex would just remove those things from the game (make the game more lightweight) and provide the items through the GE directly - they could just add a steady supply of X items an hour. Really above attitude shows a pretty ignorant "cause it doesn't affect me directly it doesn't matter for me". I've got a good rhyme for that: Maybe more fit:
