  1. Nats, hands down. You make just about the same amount of money, and you can't wear armour or weapons onto Entrana. that means pkers will have a field day, not to mention the abyssal monsters. If you plan on using the abyss, go with nats. (if not, I have no idea which rune you should make :? )
  2. I know melee isn't the best fighting form, as you can see, my ranged is beginning to level out with my melee. Do you know for sure that it won't follow me and continue to melee? Casting snare every 5 seconds is a pain. Thanks in advance!
  3. Nice guide. I used oak larders from 33 to 55, but was not aware of any other training options. Perhaps give a direct comparison with numbers and tell us whether oak larders or mounted glories give more exp per gp. 8/10.
  4. I have no experience in the matter, being at only 53 magic. However, from reading the knowledge base, I can assuredly tell you that: 1. no. 2. no. 3. yes.
  5. If you were going to remain p2p, i would say rcing for the nats. As it is, agility will help you a lot with your f2p rcing.
  6. I nearly died twice on the demon, b/c my food couldn't heal me as fast as the demon was hitting. I proceeded just as the guide instructed, using protect from magic prayer and meleeing in full rune/dragon. Spec'd it 4 times with ddp, and switched to my whip. Did a total of about 20 damage (less than the gnomes) then got hit a 30 and a 32. At that point I decided it was time to make an unexpected stop in Port Phasmatys by way of a 1-click tele. So my question is: what is the safest way to kill the demon. I did not try the alternate method mentioned in the guide, which was to hit 15 or 20 damage and run away, leaving the gnomes to do all the work. If it helps, here are my stats: Attack 70, Strength 61, Defence 61, HP 67, Ranged 61, Magic 53. Also, is it possible to have somebody else there to "spot" i.e. to pick up your items and return them to you if you die?
  7. Awesome! I've never heard of this method, but it sounds really cool! Unfortunately, I'm a member using swordies who heal 14 each, and getting fishing exp and cooking exp.
  8. Dude. I saw another guide on this EXACT subject here not 10 days ago. Try using the search button and making sure somebody hasn't already written a guide covering the same thing (to the letter, almost). Sorry!
  9. VERY good guide. Fully researched, tested, hypothesized, etc. Pics are good. I will definitely use this guide when I'm out of money to fuel my construction spree. 10/10, nothing more to add.
  10. Good thinking, however, buying flax and selling bs is faster exp and faster gp. Perhaps, like pure said, put in a map and exp per hour using this method. 5/10
  11. I voted "other" b/c I think the programmers that did the quest calc should work on and release a POH designer. It took me several days to find a good one on the internet.
  12. Interesting find, while it may have the same time as the Draynor spot, it doesn't look like it will, resulting in fewer ppl wcing there. I might try it sometime!
  13. This is debated. I prefer chinchompas, but some ppl say salamanders are faster until 70 or 75. Once you get to about lvl 72, definitely chinchompas, you catch around 250 per hour, which equates to 60k-something exp. It's up to you; maybe you could try half an hour at each one and decide for yourself.
  14. Perhaps put the suggested lvls (i.e. 70 atk, 70 ranged, 60 mage, etc.) so ppl can know whether they stand a chance in there. Other than that, very good guide, nice layout, good grammar and spelling, complete coverage of topic. 9/10.
  15. Sums up my thoughts exactly. Once you get the ranks, nobody except TB@JT can take 'em away.
  16. The head guy at the Observatory. You have to do the Observatory quest to get them.
  17. Here's how you can lvl herblore AND make money: 1. Buy ranarr herbs for 7k each. 2. Collect snapegrass and water-filled vials to match 3. Make prayer pots 4. Sell prayer pots (3) for 8k each.
  18. Make whatever bow gives the most exp. Check the fletching calculator for exact exp counts. You shouldn't stick to 1 bow type until 55 or so.
  19. Meh, too far from a bank. Try the mines in the lumbridge swamp or find a world where you're the only person in the mining guild.
  20. Edgeville yews are probably the least active in terms of autoers, there are still some there. Yes, this should probably be in skill help & advice, unless you meant it to be a thread where ppl can compare their wcing times to others'.
  21. Yery good article. I agree with everything. I still think that the only way to effectively ged rid of autoers is to remove the free portion of the game, and only allow players who pay the $5 per month (NOTE: I do not support this idea, I am simply stating that this is the only way to remove autoers from the game.)
  22. Bingo! And they only cost 12gp each, meaning you can get a duplicate to hold the bank space.
  23. imho, Hunter isthe best money-maker. Try training it to 63 (easy) and catching 500 red chinchompas. Should take about 2-2 1/2 hours. Sell them. Go use the money for construction, which is a really fun skill, if it is a cash-drain. Repeat as many times as you like, but don't take my hunting spot!
  24. You're gonna need melee prayer if you want to kill him with those stats. I did it (no prayer) with the following stats and rune armour: Atk 67 Str 61 Def 60 HP 64 Used magic secateurs, didn't have a problem. My guess is you're gonna need some more combat lvls before you take down the Tanglefoot.
  25. With ranged 70, MSB and mith or better arrows is good enough.
