  1. I've got to agree, there is nothing wrong with Vista. This laptop I'm working on isn't all that high spec (T2330 Dual Core 1.6ghz, 2gb RAM, Go7300) but it runs Vista very well. I can have over 8 windows running smoothly. The trick is RAM, you need 2gb, but with RAM prices being so cheap today, it's a worthy investment.
  2. Locking thread on user's request. ~Mamong
  3. Let's not look at the past too much. What's happened has happened. Instead, we need to look at a future with a newer, better Tip.It. The important thing is that most of us still have accounts and we can access the forums.
  4. And anyone who hasn't finished the game has now had a surprise ruined. =D> Next time, use spoiler tags eh?
  5. I'd agree and say go with a 15' model. I have a 14.4' Toshiba and my dad has a big beefy 17' MSI and I absolutely hate it. It's heavy and chunky. 17' notebooks really take out the portability part of a notebook. You can't really take them anywhere as they drain a lot of battery and are heavy so are uncomfortable to sit on your lap.
  6. The only problem I could see with this and the 'mentor' system for specific questions would be at a time like this (when I posted this), there are only about 4-5 people in the H&A Forum. Now, if this is then split into mentors for specific questions, there will be times when there won't be any people to field these questions, whereas at the moment, people who mightn't have much knowledge on the subject can offer something small to it even if they don't know the activity inside out. I hope that isn't too much of a stumbling block, it seems like a great idea and something that I'd be very willing to offer my support in as I moderate and post regularly in H&A at the moment.
  7. Isn't RPG really the same thing over all games as well? There is always an uberboss, flashy effects, special items and level ups.
  8. Remember to take breaks. If you play for 6-10 hours a day, just huntings, odds on are that you will burn out. Maybe every third day play for 3-4 hours and take a short break so you won't end out burning out and not getting to the 99. Good luck! :D
  9. Got to agree, it was great for a laugh when it first started, then they just used the same skits over and over. One being where he'd always set up a shower, which will collapse, and then he'd be standing there naked while tourists drove past, they milked that so many times. However, the one where he was showing those people how to crack a whip and then he whips that kid right in the face was damn funny.
  10. Locking this, already mentioned in a guide. In future, post all tips/guides in Player Made Guides as this forum is for asking questions about RuneScape, not giving out tips for it.
  11. You can buy them from Martin Thwait in Rogues Den in Burthrope. You need 50 agility and 50 thieving to be able to buy from him. If you don't have that, just ask someone there to buy one for you.
  12. Magic short is quicker than a Crystal Bow, you'll notice it. IIRC, the magic short and seercull are the same speed.
  13. Locked on Request. ~Mam
  14. 7/10. Different. And made me chuckle. A little. At least it's creative, unlike the hundreds of stat sigs/home made sigs that show stats that you see most of the time.
  15. War Rock looks like an awesome game, but you can't register an account if you live in Australia...
  16. Big Congrats to you Darkdude! =D> It's a shame you've fallen out of the top twenty now though. :(
  17. 9/10. See you posting on Off Topic heaps. By the way, get the rugby sig back. It's much better.
  18. Moved to Graveyard Help and Advice, as it belongs here. ~Mam
  19. I would say either untrimmed Range cape or a cooking cape. I know Cooking is really common but it is also a really useful skill to have at a higher level. Firemaking is useless at 99, Fletching is only useful if you continue to use the skill, which you might not. Cooking is often used, especially if you buy raw fish/fish them yourself and you will be glad to have a high cooking level. Range is also a good 99 to have because again, it is very useful to have at 99. Chances are, you will use range a fair bit still and the cape is also respectable as well.
  20. I do mine slightly different to Matok, see picture. His method will allow you to store more codes but mine (I feel) is better organised. It's up to you, either of these methods will work well.
  21. I downloaded it myself yesterday but I'm yet to try it, sounds like I should give it a go! :) Puppy, added you in
