  1. I assume this means Norton Anti Virus? I'd recommend that you stay away from Norton. We had it on our computers for many years, and each year it got more and more bloated. It is a system hog and get's quite annoying, especially with that ugly 'Norton Brick' sitting in your Taskbar. Peer-to-Peer is fine if you know what your doing, don't download a full movie if it's 30mb... If in doubt, scan before you open and use common sense and you'll be fine. Banking Sites!? That is one of the major reasons you WOULD HAVE AN ANTIVIRUS PACKAGE. Seriously, you just open yourself up to giving away your money and credit card details if you don't have Anti Virus and you are using Banking Sites. You should NEVER not have a firewall/antivirus installed. The free ones, like AVG, do fine jobs and you should never be unsecured on the 'Net.
  2. That's a great idea Joe. I was thinking about a TIF steam group but I never really knew how to do it, you have hit the nail on the head with this one. I'll add this to the first post and hopefully have plenty of people joining this group. EDIT: Shouldn't this be an invite only group? Otherwise, we could get people who aren't from TIF joining up.
  3. I've been using Kaspersky for a while now and I've been very pleased with their latest suite (V7). It has some good features and it scans well. You will need to do some tweaking with it if you want to allow the best torrent speeds and to get Steam fully compatible, but that was fairly easy to do.
  4. 7/10, seen you posting a bit in Video Games & Consoles and some other places as well.
  5. The Jester Costume can be re obtained from the chest you got it from if you lost it. Trust me, sell ANYTHING you can that's a P2P item, even the little things. I went over to F2P and had to clean my bank out and I threw away a LOT of money just by dropping items now useless to me. Don't hold onto keepsakes like rune defenders, trust me, the F2P bank is very small, so only keep things that you MUST hold onto. Pretty much, if it can't be used in F2P, it isn't worth holding onto it.
  6. 0/10. With one post. No one is going to know you. :-s
  7. I like yours, very clear and nice shot. 8/10.
  8. 9/10, see you in H&A heaps. I've taken over your old job :P

  10. Cleaned out the various spam/flames in this topic. Regardless of his grammar/spelling and whether or not he can stick to a goal, get off his back. You either offer help on his question or you don't. There is no need to have a go at him and start flaming him because he hasn't kept to particular goals in the past or his spelling/grammar isn't the best. ~Mam
  11. Pfft, our Australian Politicians know how to promote themselves. No wonder this guy is now our Prime Minister.
  12. This War seems to go around in circles
  13. Step 1. Unzip VirtualDub using Winzip or Winrar to your desktop. Open the folder and double click Virtualdub, that's that opened. You've got your clip done? Good, then follow Latios's instructions as you now have VirtualDub open. Try and upload it at Imageshack. If it won't work, go into the GIMP and open your .GIF animation you made by following Latios's instructions in VirtualDub. Now go File > Save As. Find the little part that says "Select File Type (by extension). Click this and look through the list for "GIF Image". Select it and press Save (or Replace is what it might be). Don't be freaked in the next window. Click "Export", and then you will come to the next screen. Just click OK here. And that's it! Hopefully you should have a working animation ready to upload and show us! Hope that helps! :D

  15. In what context? Give a sentence with a phrase. I mean a semi-buyable skill would be a skill where you might be able to buy the supplies but you have to do a fair bit of work with them to get xp off them or when you can buy some of the supplies but not others, you have to get them yourself.

    Pros & Cons

Pros: You know the food is hot! Cons: You get those annoying little bumps on your tongue from where you burnt it and they are a pain. Forum.Tip.It
  17. MJakm,o0jngh It's nearly impossible on a small laptop where the keys are quite bunched together.
  18. It's possible to make money with Herblore by farming your herbs, but it is a long process and its easy to make money through another skill and then buy herbs/2nds/vials and making up the pots and selling. Farming Ranarr's can be a good moneymaker on the side, plant and forget, then come back later, I used to farm them for cash.
  19. Locking this. Spam. The people on this board can't really help you with this as it is the players in Bounty Hunter who hold the items, not us.
  20. Locking this. Feel free to keep using the topic you had already created about the same subject, there is no need to make another thread, just changed the title and keep using your other thread. ~Mam
  21. Are ducks lots of fun when diamonds fall from heaven? Yes, but only when they taste nasty, like iPods' memory, but the cheese smelt gross and kinda rotten. Peanuts look disgusting when they give you three large cola cans fried with butter pecan pie filling. Accordians' discord dog's purring livers with disdain. Within Squidward, radiation decomposes all known
