So My Views Aren't Right?
Maybe fossils aren't real and god injected fake age into them just like he did with everything else in our world. Yup, he planted all of those there just to test our faith. Tricky ol guy up there. (Anyone see that one standup skit about that?) Edit: The link to that video is here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=-qmglGWMsdk Careful though, it's got plenty of swearing and all that stuff.

New "Market Mod" Position? *Can be locked/deleted*
I agree with TheSith. I think people would line up for the job for whatever reasons (have some price control, some feeling of power over saying what costs what which could be a bad thing, or just for recognition), but that's definitely a kind of job they would get bored of extremely fast after the luxury of whatever power they think they have wears off and they get bored. Most of the time they'd be doing it for themselves, not to help others. There's only a few people that I think truly would be good for such a position, who really have an interest in the market, and would objectively price things without bias. Because of how difficult that would be, I say just let the task of finding the price be up to the buyers and sellers. Let them use their own brains and look at forums for price ranges and sell then. Having set prices people post, even ranges, is just a bad idea overall in my opinion and can rarely be done right. (Why do I make such long posts about such simple things? )

why do little kids like me so much?
In all my years of reading all kinds of forums, that is hands down the absolute weirdest post I have ever read. I don't care if I'm off topic. It just had to be said.

How fast do you eat?
In general I usually chew my food slowly and just enjoy it, usually eating somewhat slow, but not usually the last (unless I'm with guys my own age - for some reason male teens just gulf down food). I can eat fast when I need to though, nowadays one meal of the day I have to eat really fast while I'm on break at work.

How a internet game turn someone into a `terrorist`
Oh it means Too Long Didn't Read. I have offically introduced this word to tip.it. Please thank me. Haha, god no. That was a great read. It mighta seemed fun to mess around with their heads, but remember these are government officials, and if you give them any reason to, they can ruin you.

The whole BF & GF situation..
Personally I think it's dumb, but people can play the game the way they want to, and you shouldn't let that bother you. Some people really enjoy the whole role playing aspect to runescape and immerse theirselves into it a lot more than you do. If they're enjoying themselves, why not? It seems weird to us but if they have a real strong connection, even if it's online, let them do whatever they want to do as long as it doesn't infringe or anything. (On the side:) Good point: Mods, move to Runescape Discussion and Suggestions please if neccesary. You didn't need to make that post - just report it if you think so, which neither of you have.

why do little kids like me so much?
Maybe if it was that many kids at once and if it rarely happens (didnt you mention how often you get that?) they were just pulling their own version of a weird prank to see if you'd give a weird reaction to being asked the same thing by a few kids?

So My Views Aren't Right?
No, because usually a mutation that isn't helpful just fades away. At some point I believe we had a use for appendexis (that might have been a different organ, I'm thinking of the thing that helped with raw foods). But either way, the reason mutations don't stick are because they provide no distinct advantage so they get phased out. Normally a mutation just gives you cancer anyway. It's very rare that a good one happens. We do have soem mutations like people having six fingers per hand and being completely covered in hair that have no evolutionary advantage and stuck around though, just a little extra thing to add to my already off-topicness. :P

Snakes on a Plane
Yeah, I didn't expect it at that point in the movie at all. About that line, I just find the G-rated (assuming for TV) line hilarious. http://darnsnakes.ytmnd.com/ He's just flat out making fun of censorship. It's better that way than a patched up version of the real line.

Runescape: Nice Guys Finish last? o.O Is it good to be good?
Same here. That's the flaw with this ideology. You can be a really nice guy and still finish on top. I'm nice to people with help and everything but I rarely give anything out except to my rl friends. If anyone on rs asks for anything I politely turn them down, and I don't get into those situations where being naive messes you up. Just once - a sleep deprived 3mil scam 2 years ago. Oh well. :P Anyways I'm rambling. Again, my point is, as long as you're smart about what you do, being nice has nothing to do with coming out at the bottom. In fact, you'll probably find that most of rs's billionaires are pretty nice guys. I've got a $B and I'm always there to help out. :)

Runescape: Nice Guys Finish last? o.O Is it good to be good?
I think you're mistaking being nice with naivety and general stupidity. I mean you can be a nice guy, help people out and feel rewarded. Or you can give in to all your friends who want to borrow items and only get half of them back. The scammers, the not nice guys, don't end up on top. Usually they have a good run, make a lot of money, but in the end most of them get what's coming - a ban. They get greedy and keep risking more and more and eventually just get banned. Nice players' reward, even if they're naive, is that they'll at least be appreciated for it, and to themselves they'll feel good inside, and of course there's benefits like eventually getting pmodded (although that doesn't necesarily happen to only nice guys, and if you are nice, you're obviously not gonna have great chances of getting that status anyway). So yeah. I do think you're mistaking being nice with being naive, clueless, and inexperienced, but overall it does pay off being nice as opposed to not.

Coping Runescape with School
Even I can't adhere to this, but physically force yourself away from the computer until you get your homework done. That way you won't procrastinate and you'll get much more efficiency and productivity out of a day after school. I usually go on the computer right when I get home from school and save my homework til later, just wasting time postponing it. I get everything done, I just get to sleep later than I should. It's just hard not getting lured by the computer and doing your homework first. If you can do that you'll be fine.

Dragon Pic: Coming Soon?
Couldn't they have just raised it because they noticed it was going down really far in price, and was pretty much useless since it had the same woodcutting capabilities of a rune axe, and logically should be raised? Oh no, you're right. They did it to signal and hint to us that they would release a dragon pick soon. That's it. (I'm sure if they did release a dragon pick they could change the dragon axe at the same time)

Pluto is disqualifed
The early astronomers didn't have all the knowledge available to them that we do now. When Pluto was first discovered as a floating mass, why not call it a planet? That's fine, because people didn't know many details. But now we know more. I'm sure if those scientists knew then what we know now they'd agree - not to mention they, as scientists, would agree that it's better to classify something scientifically instead of keeping it for old times sake. I hate to draw up that same analogy, but when the world was discovered to be round, do you think the fact that it used to be thought as flat got in the way? No. When it comes to science and astronomy you go by facts and figures, not by what feels right.

Tip.It Times Presents: I had a Wonderful Vacation...
You're right that it's a great service and that the editor does a great job, but in no way are these people (most of them) bashing him/her. They're offering constructive criticism. We all love the tip it times and all the work put into it by the author, we're just stating opinions - not flaming or anything. I'm sure the editor prefers seeing a constructive criticism reply with actual content over a "yay great article i luvz you!" reply anyway. Nobody expects great tip it times every time, they're just saying that in the future basically they'd prefer something on one subject rather than a bloggish entry - but that only applies to weak updates by jagex weeks, because normally the editor's response to an update is entertaining, assuming the update is entertaining.
-
Tip.It Times Presents: I had a Wonderful Vacation...
Well normally it's about the updates, but lately the updates have been pretty small, so there wasn't much to write about, except the Editor's reactions to dull updates, so it felt kind of bland to us.
-
Tip.It Times Presents: I had a Wonderful Vacation...
I mostly agree with you too. But lately there hasn't been much news in runescape to really report, so it's not easy every week to come up with some thought provoking article. Still, it's better to have a guest Tip it times article written about an actual topic than to have filler just about the editor's perspective listed on the new updates. I don't mind it, I just think for the tip it times the articles could be more interesting in general focused around one whole subject, not this new bloggish style.

Pluto is disqualifed
i think this website would be a good place for you to go. /earth was known to be flat for hundreds of years, why change it? //8 planets now, counting ftw! because the earth being flat or roun affects us alot, unlike some planet thats an unimaginable distance away. and its 9 planets now, the 10th planet (which now is 9th) has been discovered about a year ago. Heres one article, and i can find alot more articles. http://www.wilmingtonstar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060814/NEWS/608140341/-1/State heres another http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3776636a1860,00.html On your own source: Xena is considered a dwarf planet they wrote, not one of the full 8. Oh, and back then when it was decided that the world wasn't flat, it didn't exactly effect that many people. I'm sure most people weren't effected - only sailors and scientists. Nowadays only astronauts and scientists would be effected. It's not about who's effected, it's about the science and logic behind it. Classify things because of the sense behind it - don't keep something just because it would be a hassle to change.

Goodbye Rob Corddry!!
Ugh, I hate how on those kind of shows whenever someone gets remotely famous they just leave. Reminds me of the troubles SNL has. I'll miss Rob - his specials are great.

Pluto is disqualifed
Isn't it 8? Anyway, I think that's the majority way of thinking, but the wrong way of thinking. That was with outdated figures. Pluto was discovered, they didn't know much about it, so they figured it was a planet. Now we know much more, mostly that it doesn't have much in common with the other planets, and people are all upset just because of their nolstagia over it. If books have to be changed, so be it. It's better than sticking to something that's outdated and doesn't make sense logically or scientifically. We got that little hurdle out of the way, I say it's time we start thinking about changing measurements...

REALLY BIG PROBLEM
Your best option is to just post it on the official boards and get as much support as you can get by posting it on as many other forums as you can with quick find codes. There's no secret drop off window for great ideas. Send future questions to help and advice btw.

The Ten Dimensions Explained -- Oooo
I didn't say otherwise? I'm sure life exists in our dimension and in others, assuming other dimensions do exist, which I'm still skeptical of. I mean just because someone makes a theory of existence and comes up with some idea doesn't make it anywhere remotely valid. I could come up with 10 dimensions of my own and make up explanations for them just like anyone could. Unless there is some kind of research or anything behind this thinking? Anyways, back to what you said, it's always possible although hugely unlikely aliens could reach us within this lifetime, and how do we know dimentional travel is impossible? They did it in a wrinkle in time. :P

Pluto is disqualifed
Yes, they kind of do. That's how science works - not for the ease of people who memorized a "My mother" line, but for precise classification, with no exceptions. You can't have a classification of a planet, and have other planets that deserved to be called a planet more than Pluto does, not be called a planet. The easiest solution was to just take away Pluto's status. I'm sure people would be complaining a lot more if they had to learn more planets than forget one.

Current Events
Skittle isn't proposing a board as a source of news, just a section for talking specifically about news. While adding another forum wouldn't effect bandwith I don't think (since it's just taking stuff from off-topic to a new forum), it's probably not necessary, since there isn't enough news stuff on the off-topic forum in the first place to warrant creating a whole new section, and it would most likely be pretty empty and inactive.

Pluto is disqualifed
It's about time they did it. I know it's been a problem for awhile because there have been other rocky 'things' out there that deserved planet status more than Pluto but weren't given it. I think the option was to make planets have a broader classification - that's where you were hearing the possibility of there being 20+ planets, but they decided to go the other direction and just declassified Pluto as a planet.
