Are nats more profitable than Deaths if you factor in the cost of the pouch? Has anyone ever compared both xp and cash per hour? I know deaths are better for both cash and xp using the abbys. Just wondering how they compare when using the familiar teleport.

green dragons... bank bones and hides... sell on GE massive profit.
-
dragon mediums... buy at min (59 720) and wait, wait ....wait.... wait.... I got 1,3k d meds this way. with nats around 230-240, you can make a whopping 40 gps per alch! I have the feeling that the G.E.'s floor prices of items are set so that High Alching items would not yield a bigger profit than marginal over the the cost of the nats.

your choices are to either get a 99 or ignore them. Change world of train somewhere else. What kind of answer are you looking for??? If you want us to say : go ahead ! flame him or anyone you don't like, use offensive language and get yourself ban! That's not the best of option if you want my opinion. There are idiots all over the world, why would Runescape be any different? Edit : Couldn't have said it any better than Bauke's last reply.

this was tested at 93 WC and 83 mining... 145k gp per hour at pure ess. 115k gp per hour at mage logs. around 6k xp mining per hour at pure ess. around 22-23k xp WC per hour at mage logs. g luck

It's the best option in my opinion. Don't forget to spec DDS for added str xp. You'll get kills faster than scimmy, global xp faster too. You won't get 99 str faster, but if your ultimate goal is to max out melee, might as well do it with the more faster way.

Training Controlled... Faster or a 'Croc'?
langer replied to ultimatballr's topic in General Discussion
It all boils down to what kind of training you are planning. If you plan on slaying, you will need to train defence, son controlled will be more efficient. If you plan on maxing out by only killing monsters with low att/str, then defence is un-needed or can stay low leveled. Using an inferior weapon to level str might be more efficient in this particular case. My way of training from 70 attack consisted mostly of controlled training with dds specials on STR. So I got my Str lvls faster and got my 99 melees pretty close to one another. -
It's a game... Why would we put pressure on people to get skills cape? The point of this game is to have fun, not achieve anything... Let the players play their own game and start being concern only about your own. It's a role playing game... meaning you get to do what the hell you want, not some clique-regulated gameplay.

good luck, scimmy is overrated IMO.

I never knew a whip can give STR exp too... BTW, will a dds get me to 99str faster than a d long? i might just do that then.... Well whip on controlled...gives 1/3 the xp on str. DDs is around 10% faster than D long (44k xp per hour compared to 40k when I tested it like 2 years ago).
-
Not to burst anyone,s bubble but the DDS will get you more xp per hour than the d long. That has been tested on dagganoths, a somewhat medium monster in terms of defence. As to the original question, you would need the xp rates of both weapons and an approximate time to complete the quest. Just do the math when you get those. I did my 99 str using the whip on controlled and using DDS spec to boost my str xp rates. Not the fastest way to get 99 str, but faster kills and faster drops.

They will not throw RS2 aside as they did Classic. As for the way RS will eventually die, it's really up to how mechscape will perform and/or cannibalise the customers. If mechscape bombs... then there is no doubt that RS will keep on trucking. If mechscape gets a good fan base without making a dent in the RS fanbase, then see above. If mechscape steals a large portion of fans from RS, then expect the game to slowly die in the next ... 7 - 10 years with less players playing every year (I'm pretty sure the game is viable with minimal staff and 20k players playing on average at any time). The only way to make RS appealing again if option 3 happens is the removal of the 99 cap, lots of maxed out players will come back to see how they fare against boss monsters with combat stats ranging from 100 to 120 (and more).

What you might fail to notice is that it helps the slayer complete his task faster too. He might get less xp, but he'll get faster loot while you'll get none. I love it when I set up my cannon and someone "tries to get in my way" ... it's just faster for me.

Shouldn't users be allowed to remove posts on their threads
langer replied to SlayerMalk's topic in Rants
I believe in free speech, if the thread starter can remove thread that defy his opinion, then freedom of speech is denied. We give these powers to forum moderators to keep the discussion in line and keep the forums clean. I don't trust that every forum user is old or wise enough to make the right choice regarding this. Hence the reason we need forum mods. And if you don't want to be judged by your grammar : - don't write - learn proper grammar - create your own forum for drop outs I'm pretty sure in your perfect forum world that my thread would have been erased for contradicting your views. -
Either permanently block them or do them. Getting similar back to back tasks has been introduced with smoking kills. If you consider that being sloppy, that's your opinion. Slayer is about killing monsters...

why don't you use the ignore list? Whinners are usually too noob to use the ignore list.

From what I read, Jagex has a lot of dumb customers. I doubt they even read the rules before playing.

trolls, hill giants, jogres all drop low level seeds (guam to ranarr) Do not suggest specters, elves, turoths, nechryeal or cave horrors as they drop high lvl herb seeds (toadflax to torstol). I would not suggest hunting for ranarr seeds on monsters. Master farmers and Manage Thy Kingdom are faster next to buying on the G.E.

F2P is the demo version of Runescape. If you want more gold rocks, you know what to do. The price of gold ores is pretty much on the spot being between 500 and 600. Market changes will keep it going up or down but I do not see what is the problem with that. EDIT: You have to take into account that the price will ajust to offer and demand from both P2P and F2P. You cannot ask Jagex to modify the price for F2P only. The only reason gold ores are that pricy is because of smithing gauntlets which are P2P. Otherwise, they would be around 200. Would you want that?

Nicely written rant, too bad for you that you didn't check the guide beforehand. Like the poster above said, get assisted.
-
PVP update made them so pricy. Before PVP worlds, weapon poison++ was not a viable potion to make, like most potion it would yield a loss.
-
For slayer, Sara GS beats every other GS hands down.
-
You could add in 4. have the required farming level to gather poison ivy berries and coconuts.... or have a huge stock of them...or bought them at max price on the G.E.... This is what I do actually when alching and on a crowded world I can get 400K worth of nightshade per hour. and 20k herblore xp as the end result.

[Answered] An armour and slayer question :)

Dharok, Torag, Guthan bodies are the same Dharok, Torag, Verac legs are the same. Neiti helm instead of a barrows helm btw. < Verac legs is better because of the prayer bonus. Defensewise they are the same as Ray said. I'd suggest trying chealdar for a couple of tasks. You can switch to range on monsters that are too hard for melee and if you find yourself having to make too many trips to complete your tasks, go back to vannaka until mid 70s melee. Have fun slaying!
