  1. currently i have bounded a pro plate and a pro 2h i had a spear but got bored of it 2h hits harder and is more accuarate ad looks cooler but spear has the stab attack style which helps I would go for blood necklace if ur mainly a berseker in the party and id go for the hood if your mainly the keyer of the party. hexhunter bow is also an option but its so rare to even see a soulgazer.....id go for that to pwn all the mage based bosses and mages. i want a bloodnecklace onl seen on ground once but wasnt fast enough :P
  2. summoning and herblore are the only things it was really bad for and herblore only because of the cost and no other modifier otherwise you just save sc tools... for summoning they should somehow make it double whatever the current charm drop is. people saving 2-8k crims on the way to 99 summoning is like......if u get 200 per hr 10-40 hrs gameplay and 100 per hr at fiends ancient cavern 20-80hrs of gameplay + all the money cost of getting the charms + half the money cost to get th 99 summoning which = some more gameplay. herbore it saved zarfot like 300m. i think they should have themed weekends randomly but then people might think jagex is telling em what to train.... like "bonus MINING EXP WEEKEND" and stacking with barb horn 2x exp for around 20hrs or "bonus fishing weekend" they could bring people together for those skills in the respective mining worlds or fish places.

was on friends for most of rs but its on now for dungeoneering....id want people to keep thier chat on so i can get in so i do the same by keeping mine on dont get random pm's sometimes a friend i deleted talks to me but i usually add em back or just answer a random pm if i get annnoyed i will just put it on friends tho...
  4. that is true most 90+ people rush dungeons and care about the speed epeccially 100+ dungeoneering and they gatestone stuff but i think people that had 69 when it first came out had overall better parties and they slowly degrade. Just if u see someone good at dungeoneering dont be afraid to ask for an add cuz they can probably get you into a pro team or you can do future teams with them ;)
  5. Seeing this made me think, a bit left field... Obviously this would never happen but what about if jagex did this: The gathering skills, whilst gathering the higher things, rocktails, addy/rune rocks, yew/magic trees (wc) etc, if you had chance, much like the visage maybe a touch more common but overall a ranked boss style as a "very rare drop" , of getting something like a god ore/god tree/god fish (lol on the last one....) which would be equally powerfull/surpass the GWD equipment. Then with the secondary skills, 95+ could mean you could fletch the god bow (2 god logs to make?), god armour (1/3/5 of the rare ores?), god sword (3/5 rare ores) (not the type we have atm but im just sticking with the theme, so something better).. All of these rare things therefore give value to skilling, would be tradeable, in resource/finnished form. That in a way gives skilling its "rare" reward? Again just an idea and I have been rather lazy on the names, obviously it wouldnt be called ""god" but i just went for a theme. But if they were rare enough yet achievable, overnight gives boss hunting values to skilling? thats a good idea, but jagex would probably be like you have birds nests and caskets@@@@@ also we dont need more higher powered weapons, I'd rather we got something related to skilling. (axe better then dragon, special fishing equipment, etc) the axe/fishing equipment would work if degradable and tradeable but significantly better exp an hr. also all the people that are filtthy rch off combat would want the items if they wanna max out... Which therefore would mean a very high cost, and in turn therefore when a skiller got it would mean a very high reward cashwise... (if it was rare enough....) do scepters come every 2million thief exp? this item could come every 5-10m wc exp or every 3-7m fish exp? Hmm that still averages out to once a week on those skills. 3m/7 = 428k and 7m/7=1m exp a day for fish its not gunna be once a week 7m exp is getting 92-99 and 3m exp is getting 96-99 lol... for wwcing it would be 714k - 1.4m exp a day for it to be once a week tbh if someone n0l1f3s they deserve it
  6. yah but u gotta admit its changed the way to make money for most people...thats why so many people 1b exp when a few yeaers ago 1b exp wasnt even optional now people flip for money. and rc was 1m an hr for a few years but 1m an hr still only giving like 300m or so for 91-99 and that doesnt afford most buyables like it did around 2 years ago b4 the prayer/herblore updates. with 300m b4 the prayer herb updates u could get prayer 60-99 and herb 60-99 for 233m then could get either con crafting or smithing with the rest but with 300m now.....that doesnt even get 1 of pray or herb.

  8. the auto looking for group is so annoying.....it would save some time iff they fixed it currently finding a team waste time its sorta like world 2 used to be for trades finding teams in 117 they should make a looking for group thing it could also spread dungeoneers to servers not 117 if they could invite people on the thing that are doing other skills then can get a pparty invitation like a ge offer.
  9. i thought it was 1 max hit per 4 str lvls? so thats 10? in new rs so 120 str = +50 max hit 1200-990 = 210 more life points safer this way but more people will have 120 str than 120 hitpoints if they are pkers........... but then potions would add +15% +5 so...143 str so +110 max hit still the 210 lp u get is better but if its 10 max hit per 3 str levels you gain at 143 str verse 118 str 83 max hit and if its 10 per 2 str lvls its 125 max hit idk! ok i checked tipits calc 70 str and 91 str only had a max hit difference of 77 with 169 str bonus gear so these numbers seem reasonable....

  11. one of the problems with a skilling moneymaker is that it is too easy to get high skills so if high skills alone even multiple 99 skills too many people will be able to do it however with combat high skills just doesnt cut it you have to pay attention i made all my money for all 99s runecrafting and it took around 3 weeks to get lvl 99 herblore someone else could do arma 3 weeks and get waaaaaaaaay more than 167m i needed for herblore however they also couldnt and have a big drystreak. slayer is the only "skill" that makes some big bucks paid 2k points to unlock strykewyverns and got 2 staffs off light in 2 slayer task which was like 20m thats better than rcing i camped iron dragons to train magic and got a visage 37million cash in one go.. and u can get an abby task get a whip thats 4m right thier soloin bandos i got a chest my 19th kill and it was 13m at the time but another friend solo bands a week get nothing lol. boss hunting u have to focus 100% of the time tho thats why it is so much better than skills for money. Maybe if rocktail had a 1/1000 chance of giving u a "summonS" to fight the rocktail boss that gave a 100% drop of a valuable item or something. Maybe the dungeoneering surface dungeons can have some skilling involved for high rewards outside of rs. skills arre obselete yes if u want best money its best to merch/monster hunt but if you want something garanteed but willing to wait for your money skilling is a ok option.
  12. i know that 89-99 slayer got me 1-92 summoning and half of that was b4 they added charms to abbies...... i picked up and used all b4 99 summoning now i only pick up crimsons and blues...probably not gunna train summoning tho just collect them if no invent ill drop crims =p gold charms are a pain to use but they are very cheap exp greencharms are useless they were always a pain to use and expensive i leave those on ground 90% of the time because if i train summon after 99 i want it too be fast not slow.
  13. i have both and rapier pws for all slayer task long is worse than a whip because of its speed on most monsters. i fought steel dragons and was like "woah rapier turns steels to irons" i noticed a 3-6k exp/hr increase over whip using extremes and turmoil. i still use whip for camping monsters but rapier is awesome for slayer and only weapon ill use on slayer for long time. long was fun to use at castlewars it was like a godsword but tbh if ur going to get 80 dungeon id get the rapier as its most useful the long is just to simular to a godsword nothing really groundbreaking.....it was sorta like a godsword at bandos for me too the high hits were nice but a 0 with a cls just sucks compared to a 0 with a whip.
  14. I am having disconnection lost when click on "Exit to Lobby." When clicking it fast, you get connection lost. one slow click works though. Same, and after dc I get logged back in. So Jagex is clearly trying to force us to keep playing indefinately. world 117 crashed and i had to spend some time getting back my prom 2h and plate. other people lost thier hoods/bloodnecklaces whole party ruined trying too make a guy some prom stuff he just sat at base whole time cuz didnt have his sagbow/prom spear...a 104 nub sold the prom i mined >.> fail day for dungeoneering .
  15. yah the whole point of virtual lvls is to show who does all skills and who just cook/thief after all 99s
  16. I wouldn't expect them to stage these too often seeing how overpowered they were for some skills. Maybe have one before the end of the year, maybe one next year same time. i didnt play when they had the first one, how overpowered do you mean exactly? 3k new 99 summers ;p
  17. I do infact, I talk with a lot of them daily. Here are some virtual highscores for anyone that cares. It goes up as if level 126 is max using the formula for exp blah thingy herp derp. http://ss.rsportugal.org/virtualhiscores.php yeh but dungeoneering sorta messes up that chart a bit lol :P 200m easy skills people are low compared to the people accually rcing/mining after 99

if ur maxed and u party with other high skill lvls ur gunna get some 100+ doors >.>
  19. u have to play sc to get those tools and it only really hurt the prices of smithing as more people could afford smithing but it did not really hurt con or craft just more people got them but the time to get the tools balances out for those skills as far as the money per hour u can do it without sc on. also it isnt one weekend. I dont mind more double expirience weekends i will use it on dungeoneering. The onl skill i think double expirience weekends werent fair on is summoning also i think they should cut out the 2.7x and leave it 2x the whole time then when it disappears change it to a standing 1.5x exp so it doesnt ust run out and cant use ba or sc tools whole weekend. Last exp weekend i trained a lil con and craft w/o tools and then some mining .
  20. Yeah indeed, his slayer is ahead of his melees too. I think Zarfot is definately the main contender, he has expensive skills done, and to get 200M herblore he did overloads, he has so many to do slayer with it's [developmentally delayed]ed, he has 200M in prayer and construction too which is just insane. He does everything with everything, he alchs while fishing, superheats whilst smelting for ridiculous exp, he can get mining, magic and smithing up together with probably the same way S U O M I is doing it aswell. The problem I see with Zarfot, is that his downfall will come when he has to do dungeoneering and rely on other people a lot, unless he has a group he can rush with, otherwise I think he is definately the main contender ahead of Aasiwat and S U O M I. Also, I think S U O M I will meet his match when he has to runecraft for all his money, or do slayer for a profit. Even getting those to 200M, I doubt he will have enough for prayer, herblore and construction and he refuses to merchant so he will reach a climax. Other contenders, Dapledo, potentially, he is getting them up together much like Zarfot, but I'm not sure of his bankworth. I think he may be too far behind. Lan is definately a contender, he has 1.66B exp atm, 100k charms or so, 10k overloads, tons of potions in general, millions of runes, 750k cannonballs, basically, with what he has in his bank, he can 200M half the buyables and slayer. Oh did I mention he has 4B pure cash and 1B invested in merchanting? Aasiwat, haven't seen his bank but he's leading at the moment, just a little slow. S U O M I if he has the money. The way he is mining/smithing/mage at the moment, he will surely be a contender. I didn't think Paperbag could afford the expensive ones, but he's in with a shot if he can go at the pace he did with construction. Jdelacroix is a definate contender, but he has only done buyables so far, but even has the expensive ones done. zarfot actualy got 200m herblore doing extreme mages not overloads, 2/3 of his xp off extreme mages, 450k of them to be exact and then he did about 22k overloads, the number he calced he needed for 200m slay, but due to rapier he may only need 20k now aasiwat and zarfot are tied in my mind, am i the only one impressed by aasiwats 90m+ slayer xp? he works slowly at that and will come in time along with all his 200m combats all the real efficient players arent doing dung past 70 because they realse with f36+ the xp wil be fast, meaning theyre wasting their time now so all the tops players you see now are doing it very inefficiently and the real top players are down in the hundreds for rank mintellas 30m dung xp is nice, but if batch 2 was released she would have about 100-150m by now with 50-60 prestige so all i see when i look at guys like that is 2 months of your life wasted eh not necessarily wasted training dungeoneering after 69 the current top players are having fun dungeoneering and if going for 120 they know batch 2 they will smooth sail to 120......imo 99 or 100 is a good lvl to stop at til batch 2 tho thats 50 prestige which according to the pattern would be 2.5x exp for the 90m more exp til 120 but still will have the cape and a decent highscores rank.. im training dungeoneering to 99 because i want the high lvl forums and wasnt maxed when dungeoneering came out lol. Anyway from an overall exp standpoint its smart to leave dungeoneering at 69 and train other skills but from a fun/shorterm overallrank standing for those that have crap overall exp its smart too keep training dungeoneering :D w
  21. ....why is reading tipit different than browsing the official forums in that poll??? anyway my friend asked me why i don't watch videos during every skill and only did for herblore/fletching/fishing/wc "how can u runecraft with just music?" answer - i like paying attention most of the time not just hulu everything. but i cant browse forums while dungeoneering.....and its one of my fave skills. i browse tip.it when i slay someetimes just because but nowdays i use turmoil and extremes and it makes it fun :D fletching was my 21st 99 because i wasnt so concerned about 99ing it but i got cooking 2nd for an easy trim it was fun chatting in rouges den back in the day..
  22. lol i agree with this post :D
  23. rofl. ever notice all the contenders don;t even have 40m exp in runecrafting?? =P I vote zarfot but i think hes slowing down. s u o m i seems to be good at sticking to skills and he got 90 dungeoneering and 200m cook since it came out + 10m more mining exp this past 1.5 months so he obviously plays enough....low runecraft and slayer tho. Aasiwat and lan are great contenders because of thier 60m ahead in slayer tbh dungeoneering we will see what will happen with batch 2 :D
  24. I wanted to do f1-24 5:3 yesterday and found a great team right off the bat with only one person not able to do all floors. So first we got up to f7, then f9 after looking 5mins for another guy, then f13 after looking 10 mins for another guy. After looking for the third new person who could go up to f19 for 10 mins we finally got to 19 and the team just fell apart then, but overall, if we had just went on doing 8-24 4:3(which wouldn't have taken more than 10% more time) we would have got done with all the floors we needed in much less time... The moral of the story? teaming sometimes really ****s and if you already have 3-4 good people prepared to go for more than 10 floors with you, the extra 1-2 people don't make much of a differance. Also what i found yesterday, and that seemed quite nice, is people looking for 130+ combat 90+ dungeoneering people for 2-3 large dungeons in a row- really makes training easier if you can find people like that, and people with 90+ dungeoneering are almost certainly not stupid. if you can find another friend to team with you that knows what they are doing the dungeon goes a little smoother but still with 3 people that dunno what they doing it can suck.....if you can find 2 friends the others matter significantly less as 3 people can basically go through the entire large dungeon 3 or 4 other friends and your set. THis is what the top players usually do they plan for many large dungeons in a row with the same team and are picky about who they let in. I never really see the big deal with 130+ combat i guess they are less scared to die in certain rooms? Ive seen a bunch of 120-129 good at dungeoneeriing that are more helpful than the 130s =p though less than say 115 ive had problems with them always wanting armor and skill stuff made... As for requiring 90+ dungeoneering. this is good if you want a quick rush through the dungeons and let them know its a rush they will know what to do and focus on speed however lots of 90+ dungeoneers do nonrush dungeons. I add some 120s with 50-80 dungeon that are good at dungeoneering to my friends list that have shown to know what they are doing. I look at peoples dungeoneering lvl if they advertise rushing...if its high then ill know its gunna be a decent run. I have never left a team for a large but i have for small rushes if their floors take too long....if someone says kill all but de this is where the 130+ might bee important. If i die in the first 5 mins prob most efficient to leave but i dont wanna look like a rage quitter. If noone picks keys i pick em up til someone mentions it. I buy tools unless someone says they are.
  25. i hate bosses they are just not my style.... but somehow i like some dungeoneering bosses. with extremes/overloads packyaks turmoil things are easier but they are earned to be easier imo. Bandos is probably the easiest solo thing for the rewards =p
