So sara only actually got 1 new drop, thats a bit weird. I mean Bandos now has 8, Armadyl has 8, Zamorak has 8, Saradomin has 3(?) Would been better if Sara had all the ammys so it was 7,7,7,6. I got numbers from unique drops (eg exclude shards) so 8 = 6 armour items + hilt + amulet. 3 = crossbow, hilt and ss Saradomin drops all amulets though, some guys before us had whisper, we got murmur and hiss (and a rune spear -.-). Didn't pay attention to the examine option, though it is a bit weird to imagine Growler or any of the horsies using a crossbow (I know, I know, they're just drops...).

Add to that list: ability to obtain Armadyl Crossbow as a drop in Saradomin Dungeon.

Stats?

I've resubscribed not long ago and hearing here and there that the SSH (Shadow Silk Hood) in Daemonheim is not preferred by high level dg people. On the one hand it would not surprise me. With some luring techniques, and the impression that mages and necromancers show up all the time in higher floors, I feel it's somewhat overrated (quick to traverse a room with some prayer on to deflect non cleared rooms, not to mention easy food gathering). Opinions? Will I be an outcast at level 90-100 dg for throwing away the SSH and binding something with more defense? Additionally, I'm currently looking into a more non-conventional setup with my eyes on the EoC approaching. With an emphasis on mage, what would you get? On of my ideas, based on many assumptions I feel are vague and non confirmed I'd say: Surgebox (225 charges or infinite like outside surgebox?) Staff/Wand (asked for this on rsof, still expecting an answer) Blood necklace (had drop not long ago, but did not bind), with a celestial robe while searching for necklace At level 100 I'd rebind either a celestial piece or I bind a primal rapier to hybrid.

Either there's a really good reason I'm overlooking or else this just seems so oblivious: Don't remove gatestones from a player that disconnects during the game (or slap a timer of 5 mins on it). Hurts a lot if you've gated a remote location with a bunch of doors and then suddenly... dc.

That's why only people who have worn black d'hide for a long time will understand.

You'll probably know this already, but settings allows to zoom out on character and reveal more of the environment.

Ain't no such thing as permanent in the world of botting, at best there's a long inactivity period.

Me and some people I know have this "Black D'hide Unit" from way before royal d'hide. We wore it for clan events, used it for quest bosses and from time to time some regular bosses. It's just for fun really. The minimal and dark look made it so great.

I've been fishing rocktails in the lrc lately and notice some blatantly obvious botters (same armor, same behavior). I thought that killing a creature near one would lure it towards the remains in an attempt to mine it. If another creature would then attack it for a minute it would inflict a nice portion of damage. Sadly, it did not work. I'm finding little to no information on these lrc combat bots (dragon boots, legs and helm, granite body, glory is a typical setup) and wonder if anyone knows of any tricks to have these botters killed. Any suggestions will be tried out.

Not exactly a ground-breaking suggestion (I have some, but they're for later on, if I don't suffer from amnesia). Change the clown outfit costume from circus minigame into: I've always wanted to walk around in RS looking like this.

My complaint is not a true complaint, it is a whimper of nostalgia. I don't walk around RS thinking of black d'hide all the time. Hell, this thread was not meant to be taken seriously (which can be deduced from the wording). However, there is nothing wrong with a little dissatisfaction for cosmetic purposes, not everything has to relate to efficiency and stats. No need to pointlessly attack other players to make yourself look good. I've been playing this game close to 10 years, have hardly ever complained and still enjoy it. So excuse me for showing a bit of lighthearted nostalgia.

After a year of absence I return and find out my beloved black dhide has been defiled. I can bear the prossy (bling bling), and even the neit helmet (extreme bling bling), but messing with my black dhide goes too far. It looks like some hobos have covered it in irremovable poo while I was gone :( I hope the next skill will be dry cleaning. Make black dhide black again.

Err, I've quit RS a while ago and don't wish to have my account on Tipit no more, do I contact admins for account removal?

I can relate, my problem is I'm very focused on one thing, and because I had not much else to do at times, it was RS. I quit some week ago. Now I'm focused on learning the details of the Linux kernel and C++, got more projects coming along. For some people the whole moderation thing doesn't apply, it's a matter of boredness/distraction and letting it lead you to RS. Learn to get yourself some big tasks/projects and monitor your distraction, resist it when it happens and keep focusing. When it comes to games, I won't abandon them, but I see RS as a waste of time and I appreciate people can play it only half an hour or so a day and feel perfectly happy. But I like some fast paced thinking, so I will refrain to other games that will deliver this, as RS compared to other games is a waste of time in a sense that it takes more to get something basic done. I've learned certain things from the game, and don't regret playing it (cept for the last months).

I met an abby pker while rc'ing during BXPW (I prefer not to use ZMI, but that's a story that efficiency freaks will be unable to grasp). Anyway, I pissed him off so bad with a mix of Seercull/Korasi specs, that he logged pretty fast. Not to mention it's hard to get killed by one if you just have a teletab in your inventory... and click fast enough. Anyway, labeling the Wildy as something you shouldn't go in to train is idiotic (how bout them pk'ers not being at edge bank/ge spreading round their trolling, insults eh), but you can't guarantee not being killed. That said... Werewolf course.

In the mean time, we could quit RS, learn how to excel in C++, Java, Ruby, ... and build our own game. The game will probably suck in terms of game experience, but hey, you'll be able to program quite well.

So long, annoying abby pkers with Seercull. Think farming profit will still be okay, if not, skilling is pretty much dead for, for some exceptions.

Only the veteran cape seems nice.
