  1. Fancy romantic dinner with lots of bling and full third age at ice plateau. I'll be the waiter, don't bring food, that's my responsibility.
  2. Heh, despite it being the first day of pk'ing, there really weren't a lot of abyss pk'ers, most probably too scared to get attacked by real ones. I look at the one that got me as an outlier, cause I had already rc'ed several thousands of death runes when he got me (rc'ed after update). He got only around 200 deaths, since I bank them more often now. Really don't give a darn bout a glory either.
  3. This one was probably aware of me rc'ing, got tb'ed and entangled as soon as I passed that group of trees from the right, and he came from the north. Normally there's hardly anyone there. Did have trouble getting me down though, had no pray, yet he needed to do full claw specs and some whip attacks. After I've finished my turmoil goal, did a good deal of dg'ing, I might make it a hobby to hunt down abyss pk'ers on Fridays. Oh, wizard Korvak in rc guild sells large pouches for 25k, and you can get mediums for free, in case someone's interested  .
  4. Piece of filth made me lose my pouches (entangle + tb + dclaws, took me by surprise)... oh well. First player to lose his pouches on re-introduction of Wildy? Time to reshape my reflexes and clicking skills I guess.
  5. Torstols been lowering a tad. Think with the Wildy, the attention of people that would otherwise buy the herbs has gone to pk'ing. I still assume it'll restabilize near its old price.
  6. Will be rather nice to use against the marginal groups willing to hunt penguin hunters/trappers/... I don't mind sacrificing a steel titan pouch a week with some scrolls (that and a spec weap, vengeance, ...). Other than that, given that chaotics, barrage, etc is basically overpowered, I don't mind giving the people that earned their way to high summ levels that extra edge, 99 summ has all right to deliver overpowered familiars and to have them be used in pvp situations.
  7. I've been building up towards a boss hunter account for while and entering the last steps. However, I still lack some money for the last 3 levels towards 95 prayer for turmoil. My thought is to go TD's using ovl's, steel titan, a chaotic (which I'll be working for soon). But would I be better off: - using curses, soul split, but no turmoil? - standard prayers using piety? - stick to skill moneymaking methods (farming torstol, rc'ing, ...) and get the three levels I lack? Opinions?
  8. This, if you're rc'ing using glories, then just recharge them using a taverley teletab to get to the Heroes Guild, no way I'm going to spend a >5k summon pouch for that (unless you really have a massive load of them). Aside from that, geysers are useful for range slaying and pvp situations (not my territory). Other useful fams are lava titan (slaying KBD and mining), hydra (mage trees) and apparently swamp titans aren't too bad either as a combat familiar.
  9. Tbh, as a lvl 99 summoner, when I reflect back I haven't used uni's particulary a lot. What I've noticed in the last months, is that the BoB approach to boss hunting has gained over the healer familiar approach. If talking about bosses, I'd say Bandos, Zamorak and Saradomin GWD, TD's. But even so, I'd still prefer a tort (or yak in my case) over a uni (spec points for scroll allows only 3 scrolls in one go, which is really a major turndown for me).
  10. Never know if quests may allow additional item binds over time. Whether that's realistic, who knows. But I do agree on certain primal equipment to be rather redundant.
  11. This, not in a hurry to finish the game, and I have the skills to make money fairly quick. In the mean time nubcakes lacking the skills or looking for easy money cause they failed to improve their skills can go ahead and loot other people's graves. I just treat other like I hope to be treated myself, but won't act all mad if the principle fails. I do however restrain from blessing complete morons and rude people.
  12. The "umadbro" slanter is annoying. Not so much for me, but I know of other people just trying to make a more serious convo (for once) or have some problems irl. Then these morons start the "umadbro" stuff. I've often seen people get tipped off the edge, cause they could do without the slanter. No need to start it when a person is just trying to ask advice. Worst thing is that the people using it actually think they're awesome... you're not awesome -.-, you're just using an idiotic slang phrase, cause you're not intellectual enough to identify a situation or place yourself in the position of whom you're using it against. Using it against people taking RS too serious or getting heated over the smallest details, I don't mind it being used against. As for the other three, meh outdated and mainly used in an attempt to insult people, don't work on me. It's just the "umadbro" one, cause it isn't necessarily meant to insult with, just a dumb method for people to try and act smart. It's like the "boy who cried wolf". Keep using it to step on people's toes, but if you ever get stuck in a real world situation where you're desperate for help, don't expect sympathy from the people you've annoyed and neglected.
  13. Getting into 117 was a real menace today (herb assist, not dg).
  14. I support actually, hoping long term prices will drop. I know pure f2p's that have to level prayer burying a ridiculous amount of big bones, the gap between f2p's best way and that for p2p is overwhelming (as in too overwhelming).
  15. In the "Free Trade" FAQ, mods do say one of the enchanted jewellery pieces (I believe it was the games' necklace) will allow to teleport straight to the first cave of the lair though.
  16. This. Also have a couple of dclawers potted and coordinate through the peng cc, and you can inflict some ko's on the gullible pk'ers. If it turns out people would actually hunt down peng trappers, I'll also bring runes for one vengeance cast, just to drain their foodpile some more.
  17. Armoured zombies. Should get you a nice load of effigies too.
  18. Training agility at gnome course (just wanted to get faster, cause I realized I'd have to walk a lot in the first days). Of course getting there was a pain, getting over WWF was a bit of a hassle, so I gave up and chartered to Catherby from Port Sarim.
  19. Well, don'tknow if it's minor detail, but there are still the test facilities. Running the tests, depending on their complexity etc can be rather time consuming, so I wouldn't just negate them. Then again, if their code is robust and easily modifyable, you'd expect these tests to give mostly positive results. Then again, we don't know anything about their test facilities (some may argue here, that for some features they don't have any as a sarcastic response).
  20. For some reason, I can't wait either. Guess it cause of the extra attention I'll get from people who are just after my money (they aren't getting any though).
  21. You're better of concentrating on crimson charms, stocking up on blues is a nice add-on but you shouldn't give priority to them (kinda rare and expensive exp anyway). I mainly stayed the slayer course but spend my triple charm runs at ct wf's using an iron titan, they allow for around 300 charms (bit less if pure voiding instead of slayer task, and I don't have access to ss and turm yet). Using effigies is a good idea as well, think at 98 summ, it'll be give you around 60k exp.
  22. The only known summoning boost I believe is the one that the summoning cape gives (but you need 99 summ for that anyways ...), and it's +1.
  23. I use them now and then, mostly for situations where you have a packed inventory and use no BoB, like ct waterfiends (using an iron titan).
