No, it's the fact that you think that they're the ones that should be picked on and how you said it that makes you nerdy. Being X makes you Y arguments are fallacies. How you can characterize a person by only knowing the fact that he or she spends a lot of time on a game is beyond me. Why? I get drunk sometimes, should I be picked on? In that case, should half of the world be picked on? Not everyone who uses mind-altering substances is automatically a drug addict or whatever. Nerdy or not nerdy... it's all just generalizing people, trying to fit them in some sort of profile. I'd rather take a look at one's individual characteristics, and not judge till I know someone.

I enjoyed the early days in RSC the most. But that's only because in that time, everything was new and exciting and all. Wouldn't want to play Classic now.

Ah yes, the good old days. I have them. Though it is nothing more than nostalgia of being a noob in a new world full of stuff to explore. If I had to go back to the way RS was in 2001 I would quit instantly. The good old days are nothing more than a few good memories of having fun with a game. A game which is now hopelessly outdated and which nobody would play, except for a few nutcases.

I do think the RS servers were hacked a while back. I remember that some people made the members version of the game get stuck in a loop or something, and then some bad stuff happened (yeah, vague, I know). Jagex immediately took the game down and tried to fix it, which took quite some time. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Oh, and if you're account gets "hacked", then yes, it's your own fault.

If you want to call the chicken a status symbol, then it still is. The "newer" players simply got an item with a similar function, but still looks *quite* different. So people that walk around with a rubber chicken still can be distinguished from the lower life forms that people think the new players are.
