Intrest check - Hegemony
I have it too. Just started playing today - I have a Latin project due sometime soon about the Roman army so I figured I might as well. Fun, except it insists on crashing at the end of the prologue, though I haven't bothered trying the real campaign yet. I also have Civ4. Now that's fun, and I have like 500+ hours logged on it. As for the actual topic, I don't really care and I haven't paid attention the Hegemony much since I left. When we were thinking up ideas for Kingdoms though, I believe there were some people (uh...maybe me? I don't remember lol) who liked the idea of having a Hegemony-esque game, simply in a different time period. Sounds like what this is suggesting. I guess it could work if people got into it as much as they got into Hegemony.

Today...
Oh yeah, a lot of my friends did that a couple months back. I found out about this trick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PliI53wF3Q&feature=related Amaze your friends even more. :P Yeah, that was pretty popular in my neck of the woods a while ago. I used that trick and got 3.5 clicks. :P (I believe you can also use words too)

Study Finds that More Youth Say They'd Make Good Choices than 20 years ago
All this survey shows really is that youth are better at lying now. We've done similar surveys in school. No one actually takes them seriously. So unless these people were actually pretty honest, the results would be skewed anyway.

Yeah, something like that. I don't really care who gets my stuff, to be honest. Just figured that since grim is my last (former) ally on Earth (I think) so it would make the most sense if he gets that stuff. Sort of randomly picked Rpg to get my Zhoreuc colony, though I guess there was some bias. Oh and I was never an empire lol.

Oh, I'll probably still read this thread from time to time. And if Kingdoms ever starts, I'll most likely play. I'm also considering that Promised Land thing for now too. And prior to quitting, I was one of those people who didn't change names. I went from Taiwan (Republic of China) to Republic of Taiwan.

I can't be bothered to keep up with this anymore (I haven't been for a few days...). grim, have fun with my stuff on Earth, and Rpg, have fun with my stuff on Zhoreuc. No dividing by zero this time...=(

About 12-13 million now. I haven't calculated by population for a good 30 years or so, and back then it was around 100 million. So I might have more. Edit: Taiwan, and yes.

I'd also question whether you counted my troops too. I haven't had my resources drained. ;)

Today...
Someone set fire to some pieces of paper at school today, so we had a 15 minute evacuation. The school day was extended by 15 minutes, so we were let out after 3 PM, something that almost never happens. It was also during the end of second lunch/the beginning of third lunch, so there were a ton of people in the cafeteria. Pretty chaotic. Edit: Didn't meant to make it sound like getting out at 3 was a terrible thing. (well, of course getting out of school later is bad...) Just kind of weird. Sort of.

I think doom said there's some flat land. Just not as much as on Earth. I don't know about oceans though. There's another rocky planet in the system called Uridio Set, so you can do a roll for that/just give it whatever characteristics you want within boundaries.

There's a mountainous planet near Zhoreuc called Qyella. I originally colonized it for a few years, but then we were going to have that massive war, so I decided not to. Then we didn't have that war, and I was considering colonizing it again, but then we're having this war now so I didn't. Yeah. So I don't think there's anyone on there. If it matters, the mountains are like the Andes, I think.

Just thought I'd mention it again. For next time, unless you want to do it now. I would do it myself, but I'd probably mess up. Somehow. The ships that were blockading Bangladesh are now simply patrolling the Bay of Bengal.

I can't find any record of it. If Doom can find me it then your army will be moved back, if not then you will(unless you want to reverse that order anyway) will still be there. I don't remember it either, maybe it was in a PM or in the IRC or something. If there are traps, then what would've been the outcome of the fighting in the last round? If there are no traps, then the invasion is still on. I mean invasion, as in 2 million troops march in and fight whatever defenders there are.

In that case, half of the troops I sent have been ordered to stop just outside the borders of Bangladesh. The other half have been ordered to return to our territory.

Forget what I said, ships are simply being prepared. Would take a while to get them out there anyway. Though not what I said for Bangladesh. My troops still march on there.

I...somehow didn't get attacked? I could've sworn there were more than 800,000 troops defending the area around southern China. And the NWO took Bangladesh? Though I hear we need troops to stabilize it. I'll send in 2 million. I still have ships blocking it off from the sea, by the way. They've been instructed to destroy any Brazilian supply ships that manage to make it remotely close to there. Destroyers are harassing the Lichtes on Kyushu. Might also be a few hundred thousand troops mixed in there. Why are Taiwan and a bunch of Pacific islands Kazakhia's color? They should be the same color as Nepal and Bhutan. The navy blue (because I have an awesome navy, of course), rather than that bright turquoise.
-

You realize that the Himalayas are there, right? You'd have to send a ton of supplies. And you'd probably have to get through me. Unless you go around the east - then you'd have to go through a lot of Britannian territory. I'm sending some ships to block off Bangladesh from the sea. (PMed defensive details to you, arch)

That's not Korea, that's some "random" Russian peninsula. What's the situation in south/southeastern Asia? Places of controversial ownership probably are New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Hrm. Security is tightened. Ships patrolling the Pacific are on high alert. Citizens in Nepal and Bhutan are storing up food.

Yep, I have Brunei. I also have Singapore, but that's probably too small to get its own little area. And yea, it looks good. What's with Cyprus and those islands off the coast of the Arabian peninsula though?

I see some errors with that map. Assuming that you meant to color code it similar to the way the old map was, that is. The most obvious error is that Taiwan should belong to Taiwan (...). I also have most of the Pacific islands but it'd be hard to distinguish exactly between which are mine and which are Britannia's, so maybe just leave them. We're both part of the NWO so no big issue there. Those errors are probably due to my lack of posting. I'm still in control of my territories. Just not updating much, if at all.

Tip.it Kingdoms
...Are we still on pause? I haven't been in #medi much so forgive me if that was a stupid question.

No.
I usually just mumble something (maybe an actual attempt at a response), and they stop talking to me. I'm fine with helping people if I can though.
