Yeah, that's basically what I meant. I decided to actually take a closer look at the packet and the math is pretty [bleep]ing easy. Seriously, there's something like "Round 2.064153 to the nearest tenth." And I'll probably [bleep] up on the English too. My friend, who generally does better than me in English, did the practice test and got like 16 of them wrong. :mellow: (halo, don't worry - I'm pretty sure there are two English-related sections, and one math section, so that might work out better in your favor)

Hm, I'm taking the PSAT on Saturday. Math seems fairly easy, English looks hard though. <_< The age for a driving permit here (Massachusetts) is also 16. And my sister is 18 and still doesn't know how to drive. (though that's because she doesn't care much) And I'd say the majority of my grade at school don't know who I am. Or maybe they just know a name and face.

Which part is yours? Unless you already took it, my colonists (who've arrived for sure by now...) will settle on "Martha's Vineyard." That's the island on the far left, around the center vertically, for those of you who aren't familiar with what I'm talking about. (or is that too big a section?) (I'm also trying to figure out where you got the other land masses from, though I think some might be completely made up...The top right is definitely eastern Canada, and the part below that looks familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it, or it might be made up. Don't tell me please =))

I'm pretty skinny myself. About the same as you guys, just shorter. I've done some running over the past two summers, so I have some leg muscle, and I can do a fair amount of push ups (mainly due to the fact that I have very little weight to "push up"), so I have some muscle in my upper arm and chest. By "having muscle", I don't mean strong, I mean I'm not terribly weak in those areas. My forearms and abs are really pathetic though. I guess the reason I'm so skinny stems from the fact that I didn't eat much when I was little. Of course, I can eat a lot now - I just had an angus third pounder from McDonald's and 10 chicken nuggets - but I still tend to eat very little in some situations. I don't really exercise that much though, which is probably the strangest part.

No, I didn't mean that. I meant change what you put in the first post. You simply put something like "Zhoreuc - Paradise (Kamino)", and although I suppose Rpg is the main owner of Zhoreuc, it'll probably be divided between quite a few people soon enough, so perhaps it should be changed to something like "Zhoreuc - Paradise (Shared via treaty)." (word it however you want, if you decide to do so)

Why? Most of the people who've already changed their race have spent basically no time on it. It seems kind of unfair that simply because I waited for this occasion to change that I shouldn't be able to, while they can. If I decide to wait until the new thread, will I be able to keep my territory? I think the new thread is coming tomorrow or something, so if I can, I guess that's fine... Edit: It's not even a major change. They all still look more or less like humans, and their basic attributes are those of humans. I can reduce some of the effects - probably even remove all but one or two - if you want me to. And I know you're the main "neutral" superpower, so you're probably best fit to make decisions like these, and no offence intended, but I find it kind of ridiculous how you can come up with rules pertaining to the entire thread by yourself. So. It's October 10th, at least where I am. In real life, this is the national holiday of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Woohoo. In light of this, if you guys don't mind, I'd like to make this year (game time) a bit of a superfluous year. That's probably the wrong word to describe it. But basically, production and stuff like that is increased by a small bit. Not like 500%, just a tad more than normal. Of course, this also means my space ship is done! Launch was awesome. I'm sending it towards Omninife (did I get the name right?), though I haven't decided on a planet yet. I believe the system is about 15 LY away, so assuming that my ship goes at 1 LY/Y (is that like...1 Light? :P ), that'll take 15 years (or 15 days, in real life). Or does FTL mean much faster? However. During the launch, some sort of chemical was released into the air. I've only really launched on space shuttle before, so my astronauts weren't very good at doing this, so I suppose they must have mixed up some strange substances. This hasn't seemed to have any effect on the space ship, but the great mass of people gathered to watch the launch, as well as thousands, if not millions, others, have been "infected" with this chemical, and apparently some of their characteristics have been altered. (Yes. This is my ridiculously cliched and stupid way of changing my race.) So how were their characteristics altered? All my people are still retaining a good portion of their human aspects, but some have begun to turn a bit...dwarfish, while others have become a bit...elvish. (OH GOD YES I'M RIPPING OF LOTR WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM ME) I've done my best to come up with pros and cons for both. If you feel that either race is too powerful, simply give me some ideas to weaken them ("realistic" ideas, please), and I'll take them into consideration. I guess this isn't really official yet, since I have the feeling that I need approval from some people first. Anyway. Dwarfish people, or dwarves, as I'll refer to them. These people were mainly those who were living among the mountains in Nepal, Bhutan and Taiwan, and through years of experience, and the added effects of this strange chemical, they've gained some tolerance for living underground. (with limits, of course) They also are generally very skilled in metalwork and building, being able to construct great projects. On the other hand, they are slightly dimmer than your average man, and have a shorter life span. (What is the average life span for humans right now? I'd guess at least 100) For elfish people, or elves. They are wise and well learned in the art of healing. They have very keen eyesight, and live a few years more than the average human. However, they are weaker physically. And that's the only downside I could think of, so I really need some ideas - it'd be awesome if you could throw some out there. (If no one does, I guess I can go ahead with this overpowered race :thumbup: ) The majority of my people are still your normal humans, while I'd say about a quarter are dwarves, and 5-10% are elves. I hope I didn't forget anything.

The only thing I can think of that my parents really forced me to do was go to church. I don't really regret it or anything, but I'm pretty sure I didn't find it all that exciting when I was little. Yep, I chose to take piano lessons. Yep, I chose to do math in my free time. Yep, I think I chose to play soccer and baseball. Actually...maybe not. Probably not. My parents probably thought I would end up being some nerd staying at home all day, so they signed me up for some sports. Awesome how that turned out... :lol:

Aside from medicine, I had some awful moon cake a few days ago. Apparently its "flavor" roughly translates into "5 kinds of nuts." I have my doubts about whether they were actually nuts.

I "tax" my friends. I usually don't eat lunch at school, since it's too early and it's rather overpriced (among other reasons), so I just take a French fry (chip, for you Brits?) or two from each of them. It adds up nicely. And it's a running joke (is it a joke?) between us that I'm a communist/socialist. When I got home, I had two Junior Whoppers and a bunch of Chicken Fries. Healthy food yay.

I find http://www.angelfire.com/rings/ttt-subtitles/index.html rather funny. Some of my friends were in China/Taiwan this past summer, and uploaded Engrish albums to Facebook. Funny stuff.

Summer. By far. Winters here kind of suck. Unless you love snow a lot. I don't. (and now with my sister out of the house, I have to do even more shoveling - great!) My body already seems to be in an eternal colder-than-normal state, so cold temperatures are the last thing I need. Snow just annoys me a lot. Here it tends to melt really easily, so yep, you guessed it, it's not really snow, it's more like slushy crap all over the place. Wonderful. Blizzards are even worse. Sure, the snow from them doesn't melt too easily (since the temperature stays really cold for a few days), and I'd probably get a snow day or two, but they really aren't fun. Especially when school isn't cancelled. Summer is nice. I was born in the summer. I like warm temperatures (albeit not burning hot...). Rain is perfectly fine with me, humidity is good. No school. And...no snow.

I was fine with the default IP theme, but that, my friend, is pretty damn nice. At least I think so. :unsure:

Holy crap why are there so many INTJs here? (I guess I'm not too surprised) I usually get INTJ, the only one I'm remotely close to the center on is iNtuitive vs. Sensing (N/S), though if I were to label myself I would definitely go with N. (Well, whaddaya know? Got INTJ on the test in the OP, I'll take that other one now I guess)

Haha, yeah. And our birthdays go on the calendar if we set them. My profile says I have 3430 or so posts, though apparently I'm an Ice Giant Melter, which I believe is 3500+ posts. Strange. And I've always used the subsilver (I think that's what it was called) theme fore phpbb3, so I'm fine with the IP Board theme here. ...Fun stuff.
