I have to wonder what this "other" name used around Boston is...Probably soda with an accent or something. I don't use a wicked lot of slang. Or do I? (Is "rotary" really not used that much elsewhere?)

I saw this thread and wondered when someone made a 24 thread. Then I noticed I made it and was like wtf. Yeah, I'll watch it. Last season, right?

Bah. I have a week left in term. We don't even half finals/midyear exams, but my teachers still insists on giving 6 tests over 3 days, in addition to have 3 papers due. Though I did get a 116% on my chem test somehow. :-P

I moved when I was nearly 4, so I "lost" my earliest friends then. I see one or two of them sometimes when I go back to visit, but we don't keep in touch and there's a pretty big language barrier. Then sometime in middle school one of my best friends from elementary school became one of my worst "enemies." Now I don't really call anyone my friend except for those who I know will stick with me until we go our separate ways. Though I'll most likely stay in touch with them, since there's e-mail and Facebook and IM and all that stuff.

So certain achievements = certain items? Or lessens the time until your next item drop? Achievements have nothing to do with random drops. If you earn like 8 (not the actual number) of the Pyro achievements you will get the first Pyro weapon. After you get 13 Pyro acievements (again not the exact number) you will get the second Pyro weapon. Ect. for all weapons (no hats) and classes that have been updated. 5 Achievements for first item, 11 for second and 19 I think for last item. Depends on the class, I think. The third milestone isn't completing all the other achievements (for that class), by the way. (I thought someone said it, but I'll say it again - it's the milestone achievements that "unlock" weapons. Either go to the Achievements tab in game, or find it through your profile, and you should see how many you need and the achievements you can get to reach them.)

Decided to drop by today... Shortly after the beginning, I was allies with India - but that never really amounted to much, especially Adrenal never really did anything. Then I basically turtled for the rest of the game until I quit. I was in the NWO, but I didn't contribute much. Conquered some random territories. Only real "special" research was automated turrets (Half Life style, though bigger and harder to knock down). And bunkers/fortresses, I guess. Taiwan would probably just be a turtling isolationist state. I got HoI3 a week or two ago, by the way. (haven't played it yet)

It's passable. Probably a bit slower than today's average, but yea, I used to have like 30 kb/s. (Now I max a bit above 1 mb/s) As for what class is best for beginner's - I'd say medic. Makes you more useful than if you played pyro (I usually see too many pyros and too few medics), although you don't really get to experience fighting. The best thing to do is to try every class - which I really should get around to doing.

Lol, I thought it was yesterday. Dates changing after midnight are fail lol I though it was yesterday too. Or last night. Or this morning at 3 AM. I'm confused. I lose track of dates whenever there's no school. I had a TIF dream last night (wtf I don't even spend that much time here). Harrinator said something about snow and how he wondered how Asians felt when they saw it (...????), unkn0wnwarrior (I probably just butchered your name) said he agreed, and istp was liek "LET'S ASK WONGTONG." In other news, I think it actually is snowing here.

My wrist looks just as bad, but I got it that way from scratching it too much, or simply because it's dry. My cut story? In 6th grade, my friend and I were helping out at a camp thingy, preparing crafts for little kids. One of the teachers asked us to cut some ribbons. I took the ribbon, my friend took the scissors. It wasn't a long piece of ribbon, so I cautiously told him, "Don't cut me don't cut me don't cut me." And there you go, he cut me. :wall:

Apparently my grandma gave me more money. And my aunt and uncle got me Newton's The Principia (or um...Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica if you want to be technical). :ugeek:

Merry Christmas yay. I originally only wanted a new pair of headphones, since my old ones were breaking, so my mom got me some nice Sony ones. Nothing amazing, but they seem good enough. I'll probably get some earbuds later too, since the ones that came with my Zune are breaking a bit too... But the Steam sale that started a few days ago compelled me to get some stuff. For now, I got Medieval II: Total War, Audiosurf, Braid, and Mirror's Edge, all for $14.97. If there are any better deals to come, I may add more to my collection. I also got two books, a Mario shirt, and a 5x5x5 Rubik's cube (wtf I can't even do a 4x4x4). And $100 from my grandma, but that'll probably go towards college or something knowing my parents. I'm also going to my aunt and uncle's later (plus another aunt and uncle are arriving tomorrow). I have mixed feelings about this - we're going to stay for like 6 hours, and the only "children" will be my sister and I. But my uncle is a great cook, and yay relatives.

Oh, I did that to a girl I was working with at Science Team once, except it was a piece of wood to her finger. (and I swear it was an accident... <_< ) I think she cut it off or something. No, not the finger...

I tried to promise myself that I wouldn't ask for any games this year (only wanted some headphones to replace my broken ones), but this... I'm still trying to stay within a very small budget though. I'll probably grab Mirror's Edge ($4.99) and Braid ($2.49). Maybe Medieval II: Total War ($4.99) too. Edit: Got 'em all. I'm a happy man. :)

I used to have the same problem... Then I put my alarm clock on the side of my room opposite my bed. It works :thumbup: Theres some clocks out there that pop out a lil' helicopter ball thing that flies out and you need to get up and put back into place within the clock so it will stop buzzing or whatever. There's one that Lenin always posts. It beeps really loudly, and then it starts rolling around and you have to find it to stop the beeping. I have major issues getting up, and I would try putting my alarm clock on the other side of the room, but I don't think I'd hear it...

You haven't finished applying to colleges yet? Damn man, you better get cracking, unless nowhere you're applying to has a January 1st deadline, which I'm pretty sure most do. I finished mine up at the beginning of the month, and I thought I was cutting it close. Also, 'ell yea seniors. You should've talked to my sister then - last year she was cranking them out all the way until December 31. She came down to our Christmas dinner for like 10 minutes, then went back to her room for the rest of the night. :unsure: Oh, and SOPHM012ES > SEN10RS. Okay that was lame. But true. :)

Yeah. We get all the snow. Except it's not snowing right now. (nor has it in the past 24 hours - I can still completely see everyone's lawns)

Aw [bleep] I have a [cabbage]load of work to do this weekend (not to mention all the tests my teachers are managing to shove into the 3 days we have next week), so I don't think I'll have time to play. Hopefully I can get back into TF2ing over vacation though. The new maps look great. Especially the CTF one.

I could've gone home at 11:20 today. Had my last two classes cancelled (basically translates into a free block), and they were both long blocks (75 minutes each). Plus one of them was lunch block, so tack on another half an hour. Too bad I only found out rather late, so I (only) left at 1:20. The classes would've been a study hall and graphics. Meh.

WOW DEMONOID IS BACK? Except there's so much traffic from everyone swarming to it that I can't get on it. I seed. I usually have a 1:1 ratio, maybe 1.5:1.

I think anything sounds epic if you read it in the soldier's voice. I hate demos with a burning passion (literally...I've mainly been playing pyro), so I'll side with the soldiers. :)

It kept rejecting my password. That's why I never log out. I personally don't log out so I don't have to type my password every time. I don't log out either for that reason. I reset my password a long time ago, and I never bothered setting a new one - right now it's still a random string of letters and numbers. I just discovered that there are some striking similarities between Trans-Siberian Orchestra's What Child is This? and Epiphany (might not be Epiphany...might be some other track from the newest album). Yep, it's time for me to start listening to TSO's Christmas stuff again. :thumbup:

I also only have up to Warlords. There are like 2 mods for it. <_< (Though one of them, RFC, is awesome - too bad it only has multiplayer for BtS)
