Dropping it into the Lost & Found isn't a good idea. Some other person could just come along and take it.

Just give it back as soon as possible. Use one of the explanations posted above. So what if it's a small lie. Just get it back to him as quickly as possible, he could very well need it for work or school. You keeping it for any longer than you have to could really be making it worse.

Well this doesn't seem to be that uncommon of a problem. I did a Google search for it and found 3 or 4 different solutions. I'm not sure which will work for you so here's a link to the search: chkdsk runs at startup. The solutions that I saw were in the first 3 search results.

Are you using Safari? If so, try using another browser like Firefox.

What size is the image on your computer, is it only that big?

24 MB? That's massive, it'll never upload. I'm not even sure if it's possible to upload it to a normal image hosting site. You should be able to right-click on the image and open it with Paint. Then go to File -> Save As and select a different file type (like .jpg or .png). It should be smaller after that.

1. Try going to an audiologist (hearing doctor) if it's that serious. However, a normal doctor might be able to help. 2. If you're just getting them from some websites and it's bothering you that much. You can install Adblock Plus. It's an add-on for Firefox that will block just about anything you want it to.

Ok, well it seems to be a Java problem. I searched for the error message that you got and I found this thread on the Java forums. There are a few suggestions there on how to fix it. If you don't understand how to do something that they said, I'll explain it.

Jagex made a client for people to use. On the RuneScape home page, look on the left side under the "Website Features" section and click the link that says "Downloads and Wallpapers". The client will be the first thing listed. However, it uses Internet Explorer to run so there's a chance that it won't work either. Have you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java?

I can't say I've seen anything like it. I'm not sure why someone (or something) would need or want to access your computer. You should probably talk to the IT guy if you can, better safe than sorry.

I can't help but think that there's something wrong with the picture itself. Maybe it's too big? What size is the file?

What kind of error message are you getting in Internet Explorer? Have you tried using the RS client that Jagex made? Have you tried using another browser like Opera? Also, does your internet connection seem slower when you're doing anything other than playing RuneScape?

Being indicted doesn't mean you're guilty, apparently none of you are aware of that. However, for them to indict him on something that happened 4 years ago makes me think that they must have a very strong case. We'll see what happens.

Yes, you can definitely purchase more RAM and install it. I'm not sure how easy it is to install. Installing RAM in laptops is different than in desktop computers. I do believe you could just buy the RAM and have a local computer shop install it for you, really shouldn't cost very much. I'm honestly not 100% sure about the external hard drive. However, if it connects through the USB, then I don't see any reason at all why it won't work.

That looks pretty good, Wakka. However, I'd recommend getting 2 GB of RAM if possible.
