  1. cballs also harder to sell. Never forget speed in selling. Another option would be to make all the steel bars then sell them to a smelter for coal/iron and gp.
  2. With 211k I would suggest a few hours of running laws on world 66, build up your grubstake to about 500k then think about smithing steel bars.
  3. One tip I've found with clay bracelets, the charge attaches to the user, not the item. I made up a mess of them, planning to mine 27 at a time, then alch the bracelets. Needless to say, the 2nd one I used crumbled after one use. D'oh!
  4. Perhaps this is my own bias talking but, I don't like having to pay the 500 each time I go in to the falcons place. Also, it found the salamanders a slight bit faster. About the own downside to them is making sure you bring enough water.
  5. I would agree white knight *was* profitable, then came Proselyte armor from the slug menace and the market dropped out.
  6. Well coal in it goes for 90gp each, so if you can mine your own iron, this can be a good source of steel bars for merchanting.
  7. 1st, I'd use iron knives over arrows. The speed factor is too great. Now myself, I used black knights, b/c I was high enough their attacks didn't hurt me, plus it upped my kill count.
  8. On a related note, I got bronze, 'thoped it. Went back, got bronze again. Tried to 'thorp it, master wouldn't let me switch. So it looks like I gotta fight me some dragons. Thanks for the tips.
  9. Tricky part is the respawn time. About the only thing in wildy I've found to respawn quickly enough to make it worth it are white berries.
  10. Well that, and there are some fairly steep level requirements to visit the island in the first place.
  11. Yes, that's perfectly true IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, and probably many others too. So if that's your opinion, then you have to stop using tip.it or any other website. Goodbye price checks. Goodbye forums. Goodbye skill calculators. And most of all, goodbye quest walkthroughs. If you want to play the game just as it is, you have to give up everything outside of the magic little address of runescape.com. If you can't do that, you're not a dedicated player, just a casual one, mmkay?
  12. So what you're saying is any time saving methods used by someone outside of normal gameplay invalidate the RuneScape experience?
  13. Okay, so I solved the rogue trader game. Now the puzzling thing I noticed was that, while in the walkthroughs, the amount of cosmics in the screen shots was high (100-200), in the game itself, I never find more then 10 cosmics in the shop. Is there any reason for this? Should I do over the puzzle again?
  14. If you mine/smelt gold, make bracelet, and buy nats, you end up 30 gp ahead. Mind you not great money, but a tidy income.
  15. dining room, parlor, and bedroom have limited uses
  16. You could also use a mix of the balloons and dueling rings, but then the cost factor might be prohibitive, but perhaps not as bad as logs--if you could make your own rings.
  17. On your number figures, can you add commas or periods to separate the longer numbers? For example: - 1 quest hall(25,000gp) - 144 oak planks(57,600gp) - 2283 teak planks(1,221,405gp) this comes with a total cost of 1,304,005 for getting from lvl 40-60. for lvl 1-60 we have used 1,563,985gp. a greedy person have done it for 1,542,385gp. Long strings of numbers without separators are difficult to read.
  18. Also jungle horrors seem to be fair--not great, but fair--droppers. The plus side, is that they are relatively easy to kill. The downside, you need cabin fever to get to the island.
  19. Do number three to level 95, then spend the 96-99 exp cash on another skill. Never level a skill beyond its max useful level. Capes are for bragging rights only.
  20. Okay semi-foolish question time. I have 68 atk/str and 67 def. I want to level all of them to 70 (and higher in the future). Obviously training slayer/combat is my best bet, but is there a way to level more quickly (other then pest control)? Till now, I've leveled each skill in turn; I get attack to 68, then strength, then def and repeat. However, if I focused on getting one of the skills to that higher level of 70 first, would that make leveling the other two skills any easier?
  21. enchanting battle staffs...
  22. The quest is a long--pull your hair out--one but also one of the more enjoyable quests in game. The D-scimmy has the advantage of being a fast weapon, sort of the best fustion of dagger and long. It does have a terrible special though.
  23. North of ardy in the mine is your best bet, no high level requirements to get there, and no brushing the wilderness.
  24. What monster is a good dropper of cosmics?
  25. I just managed to get three runite bars as a chest drop. I was thinking of trading them to a rune smither for a rune item(s) which I could then resell. For example, three bars for three rune axes, or three bars for a kite. What should I trade my bars for that would maximize my profit? Any suggestions would be great.
