  1. Is there a list of how much the various ores note and unnote for at kelgrim? I am most interested, in the price of coal and iron. I'm considering using the furnace, and would love some baseline figures to calculate from.
  2. Yes the unicows are fun to fight, not in wildy, and fairly close to a bank.
  3. plus, agility pots wear off FAST. I've been using them in brimhaven and they hardly last two minutes it seems before I have to take another swig.
  4. Exactly! I have been trying to figure out a way to get flax running to catch on as an idea. It seems such a natural idea, and yet nobody does it. Fast free crafting exp is a good thing, yet is it there? Nope.
  5. Al Karda or varrock SE are probably your best bet for free to play.
  6. So I'm trying to level from 50 to 56 agility at brim, and have gotten about 35 tickets. Now I know the greater the number of tickets you turn in at once, the greater the reward. According to the calculator I need about 3 100 ticket blocks. However, if I turn in two blocks of 25 I'll get 51 agility. If I turn in at 50, I will have to get more tickets, however, as your agility rises so does the ease of the course. Plus there is also the risk of dying and losing tickets. I ended up losing 25 ticket once, it was quite frustrating. So my question, should I bank or should I spend them in stages.
  7. my best suggestion to power fish, is barbarian on f2p. Sure you can sell fish back to the shop in shilo, but most of the time the shop is so bloody full of fish as to make it unprofitable. Second, the fishing spot moves--a lot--! Half my time at shilo was my trying to world hop to little or no fish in the shop and chasing that ever moving hotspot. I suggest using f2p b/c you can always give away free fish to lower levels.
  8. Don't forget the rings of forging!
  9. This is a good point. I came up with the "brilliant" idea of smithing 10k ore for iron knives. Thus far, I'm been posting for a couple weeks, but I can't seem to find a buyer at any price. So these 5k knives sit in my bank. Mind you, I bought the iron, so I can't try this. But if you mine it yourself, it could be profitable.
  10. I thought you could use the meal packs, purchased on the island, on him to bring up his health.
  11. The guild under fally would be your best bet. While coal is slower, it also has a higher profit. Another option would be ess mining. While you cannot mine pure ess, I sense that there is a market for reg ess. Sure it is not a profitable as pure ess, but I'm seeing more and more people wanting to power level with air crafting--and a real lack of bulk ess on the market.
  12. Exactly! Now I'm not saying this is the rocket ride of exp that leveling dueling rings and fires are, but at least you can sell Chaos runes. Heck, under the right circumstances, Chaos running could catch on.
  13. Thanks! I guess, this is on the edge of profitability for bullseye crafting. Oh well.
  14. So from all the general grumpiness in this thread, I'm guessing the shortcut, just isn't short enough to open up a profitable dueling ring/balloon route for power crafting?
  15. As a sub level 90, I would support this. Now I don't want sound like a mixture of grumpy old man and whiny benchwarmer; but I think tactics and strategy are what win battles, not ÃÆÃâÃâüber levels Leeeeeroy Jenkins-style charges. I suspect that a tip it pc clan would have the maturity to fight effectively and as a team, regardless of levels.
  16. Yes, but a better question would be "why wouldn't you need 500 bananas?" I mean, if you have to ask about the bananas...
  17. I'm stuck at work, does anyone have a list of how much the new lamp shop is buying the different lamps for?
  18. ...and a clan. Tricky part is getting a clan that will accept you during those rookie lower levels. To train to level 90 effectily I need, a clan. To get into an effective clan I need to be level 90. Herein lies the rub, as it were.
  19. I've been looking at the debate between a rune kite and and obby shield Rune's stats are stab slash crush magic range + 44 + 48 + 46 - 1 + 46 Obby shield stab slash crush magic range + 40 + 42 + 38 + 0 + 65 Is the extra range protection worth the additional price?
  20. Of the dragon weapons out there are there specific ones that are "best" train the individual skills of attack, str, or def? For example if training attack, this weapon is best...
  21. Any idea on th level needed to catch them? I really have no idea. level 27 and the quest eagle's peak the guides suggest, that--while ferrets are used for hunting rabbits-- you ignore them and just catch them up to chincompies
  22. well the tricky part is that with the exception of prayer pots, most low level potions don't have a solid market. I might suggest looking at whatever quests you can to to raise herb
  23. don't forget summer pies are great for +1 level boosts
  24. I always suggest, the 10 clay pond trick, also teas are a good way to level leap. The method I best suggest is to use skill lamp rewards and quest bonuses wherever possible. I used the lamp from On Small Favor the leap from about 30 to 40.
  25. Of the two, P ess seems the way to go. Plus, I think the market for p ess is bigger. You can sell 1-2-3k lots w/o even forum advertising, in the bank.
