People having bits of food stuck on their face for longer than a few seconds. It's sometimes enough to make me lose my appetite. Also people who refuse to look you in the eyes when they're talking to you.

It's like people don't even try anymore. Anyway, this movie is definitely on my to-see list - because really, it's James "I made Aliens and the two good Terminator movies" Cameron. Even if it's Cameron's worst movie to date it'd still be worth the $12.

This is true. There are not a lot of youtube clips available, but the running spoof of how they're all absolutely incapable of imitating a chicken in the show is pretty great (sorry for the CAM): "Has anyone in this family even seen a chicken?" And just, most scenes with Gob period. "Illusion, Michael. Trick is something a [bleep] does for money." It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is also a definite favourite, how the gang gets away with all the morally reprehensible [cabbage] they do is amazing. Also: Seinfeld, The League and the first season of The Big Bang Theory are excellent.

This is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I know who you are but I am not your friend.

Was about to post this as well. Also, Kite's "I Give You My Morning" which is a translated cover of Fred Åkerström's "Jag Ger Dig Min Morgon". Good stuff.

I usually drink around 2-3 cups of coffee a day. Black (naturally!). Few things are quite as relaxing as a warm cup of coffee and a muffin or thelike.

Max Payne but not Max Payne 2? For shame. Also where the hell is Tribes 2.
-
I liked the other album so I'll probably check this one out as well.

I tend to wear button-up shirts with t-shirts quite a bit. Although now that it's almost winter, thicker cardigans with either a button-up shirt or just a t-shirt underneath works quite well. And then either chinos or jeans, not skinnies but slim. I like Esprit, Topshop, Brothers and Carlings.

To add to what venomai said ealier, and it's one problem I have with people who refuse to take the vaccine - on grounds that are completely divorced from reality, no less - is that, while to you it may be no worse than the seasonal flu, you could potentially spread it to someone from a high-risk group. Especially since it spreads much easier than the regular flu. To me, that is patently selfish.
-
My mom works in the medical industry so she was among the first to receive the vaccine over here. Similarly, me and the rest of the family will get it as soon as it becomes available in our individual areas. edit: Also I am not worried at all.

Exactly. We don't actually SEE the demon, we just imagine it. And that's much creepier than watching a blood-thirsty demon killing everything in its path - that kind of "horror" is just not scary anymore. I think everything in this movie is brilliant, the sound, the acting is so natural, the slight shadows on the walls when the ghost walks in the room... I got the ending with the cops, but I'd like to see the cut-throat ending, I believe that would be a lot more disturbing. Definitely, best horror movie of the year, imo. Exactly.

Since I'm a self-destructive idiot I decided to see it as well. Good movie and really creepy. Reminded me once again that I need to stay the hell away from horror films. Also, there are apparently like 4-6 endings (I got the same one as N0M_AN0R). It doesn't help that my neighbours have two kids who like running up and down the stairs all the time. It sounds exactly like it does in the movie. [bleep]ing hell. EDIT: Fun fact, the movie was shot at the director/writer's own house.

The Decemberists - The Mariner's Revenge Song. Deliciously folky.

I've never considered that you have the option to listen to just albums as well. I just chucked a bunch of songs into one big playlist on my iPhone, conventiently called "My iPhone Playlist", and I always just put shuffle on. I'll give the album thing a shot next time!

The experience needed per level hasn't changed any further has it? Me and my friends will probably start playing from scratch.
-
So I'm thinking of renewing my subscription soon. I stopped playing around May/June, has there been any noteworthy changes made since then?

Last week I was at a party and made an off-hand rape joke (no, not one of those) - near my best friend's girlfriend who was raped a few years ago. I completely forgot about that until literally a millisecond after I had made it, and I felt pretty awful. She didn't appear to take any noticeable offense to it though, since she continued talking to me like usual. Still, it was definitely one of the worse blunders I've made.

Don't worry about it. I think it was an Aion thread on SA that initially got me interested anyway, and I did like playing it during the CBE and OBE. It's a game I'd definitely be willing to pick up again if I had a few RL friends I could level with, since that's what I did during the CBE and it was great. At the moment I'm sort of considering going back to WoW for a bit and see how I like it now. A classmate and his girlfriend are interested as well. Just start fresh on a new server or something. Since I'll buy a new laptop next week that will actually run WoW I won't have to sit by the stationary computer and the godawful table it stands on. Damn thing is doing quite well in ruining my back and knees.

Does all your music come solely from the Guitar Hero games?
-
Yeah I've put it on hold as well. It simply requires way too much from the player's time to level in the game. Also, you need someone to level together with in order to stomach the quests. It's a pretty game but too much anime for my taste and quite bad quest-structure. I only got to level 16 though, so the quests might pick up later in the game, but getting there is far beyond my willpower and the amount of time I'm willing to invest on a game.

I'm definitely interested, and my computer can run it. [removed] Just look at the customization:

Been a member here since 2002 and if we were to add my current post count to my old Scapeboard account, it wouldn't add up to more than maybe 4500 posts. So no, I don't really give it any thought at all. I wish other people would too. It's really quite noticeable which users give it considerable thought since they post in every damn thread, and those are coincidentally the posters whose posts I tend to automatically skip because they rarely have anything interesting to say. Also wow, honestly, an "Overall Top Posters" and "Today's Top 20 Posters" highscore list? Really? They might just be the absolute worst functions I have ever seen on a forum, for obvious reasons - and that list includes terrible forum functions such as posters being able to change eachother's avatars/titles and add new emoticons to the forum. The blog forum was a genius idea in comparison.
