~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, its time to fire up the team again. I'm on a goal for 99 prayer (Blog here) and its time to make some cash. So.... here we go again..... \ I would like to invite all veteran Dag Kingers. This is not for first timers. I will be gathering teams nightly of 1-2 mages, and 3 rangers. We shall use the switching technique where the rangers will switch from killing Prime, then killing Supreme while Prime is dead, and repeating. The mage(s) will do his best to keep Rex off of us during this process. The world will be determined by the team make-up depending on world population. With three high level rangers, we would select a world with higher population for faster respawns. With three mid level rangers we would select a world with lower population. - All drops are split between the entire team in the room at the time of the drop. - All death piles will be returned. - Guthan, Crystal bow/karils, Sara Brew, Super anti poison, Super restore/Pray pots are required for rangers - Trips usually last around 2 hours. - Mages are more flexible in equipment, but should be able to stay for 2 hours if all goes well. - I will always be a ranger, because I'm not a veteran at maging. If you are a veteran DK'er who has trouble finding a team, please post your RSN on this thread, and I'll add you. I will be on from 8pm to 12pm Pacific time Mon-Fri. But feel free to use this thread to gather some folks together for your own use. Just don't leave me out when I'm on. Hehe. Dragon axes are worth well over 3 million each now. Lets rock! Bah. This update rocked. This is like top 10 updates of all time. The capes are awesome, we've been screaming for 99 capes for years now. Its great they took everyones idea, and they did a great job. (Except that the extra stat boost is only temporary) And the new room is fantastic. People have some bank room now! I have 8 new cape/hood items, and still have gained bank space. And now I get to keep all the outfits from randoms. Now that I've dropped countless mime outfits, I'll never get anymore. lol. Anywaaaaaay, this update was fantastic. I totally disagree with this topic.

Don't have access to KB, so I have some questions.... Where/how do I get the 99 capes for attack, strength, defense, and hitpoints? What are the construction levels needed for the new furniture to store the stuff? Are they flatback-able?

Yeah, the only thing I'm familiar with is santa hats. Since I'm earning money for a red phat, I'm using them as investments until I get enough. They were creeping close to 30 mil, ,and then started dropping. Probably because of the 99 capes, but they are steadily dropping. 2 days ago, world 2 fally park were averaging around 24 mil. Now I'm scrambling to make money fast to buy low. lol. Have 4 santas now, so the red phat is getting closer. Too bad Rs2 got banned (so I hear) I was hoping to get a good idea of market prices.

Bummer. I was hoping for capes. Looks like the next update is going to be a whopper. From the feel of it, it seems they're gonna do the Halloween update, capes and POH update, and rats and bears graphic update all in one shot. I don't think the POH update is going to get a whole new room. Everyone is saying the "costume room". From what I read in the update, I imagined a new dresser that allows you to store the costumes. I'm also hoping it takes high construction to make it so I can actually make some money off flatbacks of them.

Hey R2, could you amuse us and update the prices on page 1 with Oct-06 prices? Would be cool to see the difference since the prices on page 1 are over a year old. Santas have gone from 4 mil? to 28 mil in just over a year. Would like to see the other prices. That is... if you even read this. Hehe.

KQ does not use protect prayers. The "prayer" indicators are only indications on which attack style the monster has high defense on. This has been confirmed by Jagex, and prayer rules for PVP or NPC do not apply. If you range the first form, you'll just hit more zeros due to its high defense.

Yeah, this has always been a cool idea. Like how you laid it out. I wouldn't put Abbys and Nechs, though, too easy to kill. Would have to be for the Uber bosses, ya know? And can you please add a Red Cavalier hat? :thumbsup:

I got one for referring a player to a guide on Tip.It for help. Its not too had to get a black mark, and some offenses are more serious than others.

I'm almost convinced that this increased drain is only on some players, since people are so convinced one way or the other. Need to find a +5 prayer bonus now. I'll post after I find out. IF I get on.

You trust Leesters over something that came from the actually creators of the game, Jagex? I think they don't know it changed. I believe its a bug that showed up on the update, and they didn't plan on it. And unless people scream about it, they probably won't check for a bug due to the hoopla about the rumor. Might not be for everyone, but my prayer drains MUCH faster now.

Welcome back, deangut..... Here's the summary: They updated new prayers, made a scroll bar on the prayer menu, and then changed it so there was no more scroll bar, as you see it now. On this second update, prayer drain mysteriously increased. People spammed the RS forums with this, and someone then posted a fake post from RS Cust Supp saying "Yes, we felt it was too easy". Then Paul made a post saying, "No, the rumor of the prayer drain rate being increased is not true. We have not increased prayer drain rate" Everyone cheered and said "Yay! Thanks Paul for clearing this up!" Which distracted from the real issue, that there seems to be a bug that makes the drain go faster. If I wasn't on semi-retired status, I'd be on a campaign. :P

Blackjacking is by far the fastest way to do theiving. Need to do "The Fued" quest, and the quest itself explains it. Its best to get a villager, or a menophite (whichever your level allows) trapped in a room, smack him, steal twice, repeat. Click fast, and you'll get into a nice rythym and crank out some fast xp.

Nice, never thought about abby demons. Questions.... 1) Who do you talk to if you've used your darklight in your house and don't have one anymore? Or just plain lost it. How do you get another one? 2) Is there a special needed to have the weakening effect, or is it just when you have it armed?

All warspear attacks are controlled, except defense, which is stab. The stats on all attack types, crush, stab, and slash, are identical. Personally,I think the best strength training Barrows set is Dharok, but only if you utilize the set effect. Verac also has aggressive, but Dragon scimmy is faster, and unless you're fighting something uber, will train faster.

There won't be any more events... not for awhile, anyway. Please read first page for details. This was a great thread, and we had some "leet" events!
