Well the gambling clans in long run transfer the cash from poor to the rich. Which makes rich people able to afford items with higher and higher price, while the gap between poor and rich grow and grow. Of course this is somewhat negated by gambling hosts real world trading the cash back to the poor. Which creates a circle. However, as the gap between rich and poor grows bigger, it gets harder and harder for legitimate players to obtain many items (see: rares). That leads people to buying cash from RWT or gambling. Which just eventually makes things worse and worse. Come up with an example other then rares. Rares don't have any impact on gameplay* and really are for players to either invest in and hope they go up in price, or for the snobbyness factor. *By gameplay I mean they don't help in any combat or skilling scenarios. Top of the line armor (nex, elysian/divine spirit shields). Not everyone has hundreds of millions of gp. Even with the "standard" gp rates of things like farming and mtk, it still takes a long time to get that much gp. Sure you can save up over a long period of time but that is an easy way to buy advantage. Also several of the fastest skilling methods are very expensive as well.

The minimap is your friend :)

It's incredibly hard to spot, and seems to teleport every 20 minutes.

I think they didn't quite realize just how much their nerf would work and are afraid to admit it.

Greenfingers is nice. Torstols with juju and greenfingers is pretty decent though you have to watch the market price..

I think as long as they can profit, they'll keep servers up. How long that would be after they stop updating is questionable, (I feel that it would be short since you lose anyone who is comp-caped and not planning on 5b-xp maxing, you also lose anyone who gets bored of their goals and only comes back for updates.) I think the game is effectively dead if they stop updating it even if the servers still run. (Take a look at classic as an example. It's not gone, but it's mostly dead)

I was specifically referring to new quests in old quest series. So a new elf quest with voice acting, similar to how this new penguin quest follows an old one. Don't go back and add voice acting, just start with it now :)

I like the new voice acting, as its been so long since I last did any of the quests I've forgotten how I made them sound in my head.

Nitpicking: the last update was two weeks ago (And they said last week's update would go live with this week's), and the release date they gave was apparently October. Guessing that it's late because something broke and they're trying to fix it before it goes live. Also they've mentioned several interface reworks + tutorial + the new targeting system which aren't trivial..

In other words: Buying the max amount of spins per day (and doing nothing else) is faster than playing (regardless of cost)? (Can't really factor in the cost because that depends on any person's skill set, who they know in fields they can work in, and how valuable their time is to prospective employers.) If it is not faster, I assume that you mean buying some spins and playing some. I don't know how easy the math for determining than line would be.

Yea, I think it will be interesting, especially if agility actually does more, I would like to see more shortcut type things, but that simply speed you up without being a huge bonus like a new area. Possibly done automated, so that you could automatically hop some fences after a certain agility level...

Sounds like a fair bit of good stuff. Too bad its all in the "future" right now :(

I'm hoping they just open up an equipment shop like the ones they have on the surface, once they get around to updating DG. The DG bank i think is an idea we want to see in the live game. Obviously hope they open a dg item shop when testing out dg, hopefully people would be willing to test various setups that way.

And honestly, if you accidentally get into P2P with a new account.. you can... just start over... Does the trial offer for existing accounts with lots of xp? Or only newly made accounts?

While you can't argue that someone adamantly against buying spins doesn't do it themselves, trackers work very well. It isn't possible to bank the lamps, so they have to be opened right there. You can easily tell when lamps are being opened, and players would have to go through a lot of effort to hide it (destroy all skill-specific lamps that don't match, only do enough so they don't break records) The work it would take to do all that isn't worth trying to hide. EDIT: Jonanananas said exactly what I meant.

It also means if you get lucky and find a primal item early, (before you can equip) you can save it in the bank. I hate that i keep finding primal stuff I can't use yet, but I know that once I get 99 it will feel like forever till I find the stuff I want.
