The only reason I use Bandos armour is because it doesn't degrade. If Torag's didn't, I would use it.

I'll definitely agree with you there. Also, I believe he didn't write that post. His profile looks completely shabby, he types with incorrect spelling and grammar in everything except the actual post(excluding the big bold letters, where he spells "hear" as "here") And his location is "hillbilly country"(wtf?).

I got 153 Waterfiends, then 183, then 196. 3 Waterfiend tasks in a row, and it owned. It was raining charms...

I agree. Zammy is best for PVP and Sara is best for monster hunting. I'd have to say Bandos would be pretty helpful in PVP too if you are fighting someone with tank-like Defence. That's why I hate going up against a person with a BGS. :x

I'll agree the only use for SGS in castlewars is some more prayer.

Firstly, don't yell at me for starting a godsword debate. We managed to have a pretty constructive and mature debate in Forsakenmage's chat. Okay, firstly, let's put aside the price and just look at the qualities of each godsword. For the special attack, we will assume that you hit a 40(normal hit, seems like a reasonable average hit) *Please note that I have owned all the godswords before item lending, purchased with my own money, so the reviews here are 100% honest* In alphabetical order... Armadyl godsword [hide=pic][/hide] It's special attack hits 20% more damage, taking 50% of the special attack bar. 40*1.25 is 50. A spec with a base hit of 40 would hit an extra 10. Two specs would be an extra 20 hits. It takes 5 minutes for the special attack bar to restore, so that is 4 extra damage per minute. Bandos godsword [hide=pic][/hide] It's special attack hits 10% more damage while taking away your opponent's defence levels by the damage inflicted. The special attack bar is drained 100%. 40*1.1 is 44. A person with a Bandos godsword can push a person with 99 defence down to 55 defence quite easily, making them extremely vulnerable. It takes 5 minutes for the special attack bar to restore, that being 0.8 extra damage per minute. Saradomin godsword [hide=pic][/hide] It's special attack hits roughly 7% more damage while gracing your hitpoints with half the damage you have dealt, and a quarter of the damage dealt to your prayer, while using 50% of the special attack bar. 40*1.07 is 42.8. The damage inflicted rounds DOWN to 42. This is a heal of 21, and 10 prayer points. Two special attacks is 42 hitpoints and 20 prayer points. You will heal a MINIMUM of 10 hitpoints and 5 prayer points. You CAN be healed even if you hit a 0. It takes 5 minutes for the special attack bar to restore, that being 8.4 hitpoints and 2.5 prayer points at that rate.(Better than a bunyip!) Zamorak godsword [hide=pic] This is from when I was poor, and I used all my money on it. I was so happy.[/hide] It's special attack hits roughly 7% more damage while freezing your opponent for 20 seconds. It takes up 60% of the special attack bar. 40*1.07 is 42. The damage inflicted rounds DOWN to 42. The damage you inflict has no effect on how long your opponent is frozen, and you CAN freeze your opponent even if you hit a 0. It takes 5 minutes for the special attack bar to restore, that being 6.67 seconds of a frozen opponent each minute. Now let's compare the godswords... The Bandos godsword will mop up your enemy's defence, making them extremely vulnerable in team games like Castlewars. The Armadyl godsword, which hits 4 extra damage per minute, is no match for the Saradomin godsword which heals over twice what the Armadyl godsword hits. The Zamorak godsword seems pointless in combat, apart from stopping ancients and rangers from moving around. This is where you come in; What is more important? A godsword that hits an extra 10 damage per spec, a godsword which heals you 21 hitpoints and recovers 10 prayer points for you, a godsword that makes your opponent extremely vulnerable, or a godsword that can help you with moving opponents? In MY opinion, the Saradomin godsword wins. They've gone down alot, so if you want one, now's your chance to buy it cheap. ;)

I started in 2001, NEVER pked seriously, NEVER staked seriously and NEVER merchanted seriously. The game is pretty much the same as it was, and I love it.

I mainly use "newb" as it can be portrayed easily as a playful term. But yeah, I get called a noob constantly by AGS fans because I own the "rival" godsword. I've owned an Armadyl godsword before the item lending update, so I can't be called a jealous noob. SGS for life! I don't care about the price drops cause I ain't never selling it!

I actually thought about this when Legacy of Seergaze came out. The "Dark Lord" does sound kind of Vampyre-ish.
