Yeah. I was talking about the speed of light from the sun to Earth is 8 seconds or minute (I believe it's minutes), and if the sun were to some how be sucked into a black hole, moved, exploded, etc, we wouldn't know about it for 8 minutes due to the speed of light. Sorry but I don't think thats right. Think about it.. if the sun were to blow up... you really think that we would wait 8 min for us to feel the impact? I think we would feel the impact as soon as it were to happen. we would all die in mili seconds and wouldn't even know. But that is just my theory (now no one become rich of my brain noob lol) Also about the break light speed I think is impossible and even it were possible it would be useless... why? Because you are going faster then light so technically everything would be dark, pitch black, If you were to turn on a flash light instead of going forward it would go backwards. you would get to places so fast but you wouldn't be able to see anything. Unless you went like 1,000 miles below light speed I think its not very smart :P You raise a good question about the impact, but for sure we wouldn't see it until 8 minutes later. It wouldn't be dark, other light rays from different objects would be hitting you no? But are you talking about the light on the craft you could travel in or something? I am a bit confused :-s

Well you could only see the light comming from you, due to the fact that everything has light rays comming from it or shining off it. And if it something next to you, that would be fractions apon fractions of a second of time allowed to see yourself. You would have to travel one light year (5,878,625,373,184 miles) faster then the speed of light and look back at earth with a telescope just to see one year back in the past. When you look at a star in the sky the light it produces takes time to get to you, the speed of light. So when you see the star you are really seeing it's rays comming at you and by the time they reach earth they are years old. So you are seeing it years in the past.

thats the problem with people. they do eeverything with emotion. Sure, its human nature, but if you can step outside of it you can see everything with a lot more logic. i remember having this debate during physical education last year. I don't find it a surprise that celeberties can make money off of almost anything. I guess that is their advantage though, I don't care if Paris made a book or whatever, just treat celeberties like the american citizens they are. Well for the American celeberties.
