I personally do not understand the purpose of having a 'pure' and a main p2p character. But hey, it is their money. Aside from that, they (pures) bring on the hatred themselves. So far every encounter I have had with one ended in me putting that person on my ignore list. One memorable encounter occurred by the rock crabs above Relleka. Some guy was flaming me about his pure and then challenged me to fight his 'main'. He logged out of his 'pure' account and logged back in with his 'main'. My question is why were both of his characters up in the same remote spot? I have no beef with anyone who has a pure...why is it that they appear to have problems with everyone? If you people with pures want respect, then earn it and stop acting like you own Runescape. A little courtesy really can go a long way.

I applaud Jagex for their PC update. =D> I for one have never used PC. I am old school I guess and like to earn my levels. High stats mean nothing to me if they are handed to me like cheap campaign buttons. Meta Mucil

Why not get rid of the KBD and replace him with Tiamat...the ultimate dragon. It has several heads, each with its own special attack...Fire, Acid, Poison, Ice, Magic. All you AD&D players out there know who I am talking about.

I find it odd that I tend to get more randoms a few seconds after I log in. In the past few days, the old man has appeared or I have been whisked away to play 'Odd One Out' more times than I would like. Random or not, it is very irritating to log in and get caught up in a random event.

Rune Dragons will never appear. If Mith Dragons are level 304, then Rune Dragons would have to be at least level 400 or more. Reading the posts of several people describing how long it takes to dispose of even one Mith Dragon, any higher level dragons would have to be in a multi area much like the KBD and KQ.

You would never say this if you died at the hands of one of these childish idiots. I personally am very glad that this update is happening...it is long overdue!!!

Has anyone ever noticed that some of the experiments in Canifis are sheep with wolf heads? Wolf in sheeps clothing. It may well be known, but I just noticed it for the first time.

I do not particularly enjoy runecrafting, hunter or construction. Good thing for Tears or I would never level in those three skills. Meta Mucil

Spotted magpie impling south of Falador in the vicinity of the Air Rune altar. Can't catch them, but I got to report several macroers chopping the yew trees there :) This was on world 58 Meta Mucil

Whatever skill Jagex decides on, I believe it should be a skill that cannot be bought. With the exception of a few skills, anyone with enough money can buy their levels. How boring is that. Bring on something that can't be bought, but must be (egads, how dare I say it) earned. How about a skill called....Respect. The more often you show other players respect, you gain in ways that will boost your other skills. Meta Mucil

I stumbled upon 1.5 million in gold and a dragon battle axe in the Seer's Village once. That nice windfall paid for my whip!!! Meta Mucil

Monkey Madness irked me to no end. I hate puzzleboxes and the finale was dreadful for me...I died. Sheep Herder was also very irritating...it took me a few months to finish the darn thing, I could not get that last sheep in the pen! Meta Mucil

Ah...the memories of the good old days of D&D. Pushing 40 myself and I am hooked on RS!! You should get your wife a laptop and show her the RS way of life...LOL. My wife and I each have our own laptops and sit side by side while we do battle or work on finishing quests.

The combination of my dry humor and my age (soon to be the big 40!), the first thing that popped into my head was Meta Mucil...aka the famous fiber supplement metamucil. Nuff said about that.

Here is my two cents worth... First off, going after 85 anything is an accomplishment...PERIOD! Secondly, many people, including myself do not have the funds to purchase a whip outright. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to try and reach 85 slayer in the hopes of obtaining a whip for free. I do not see people knocking at my door offering to give me a whip for nothing. Unless I win some Runescape lottery, I most likely will never own a whip unless I reach 85 myself. Nuff said I think. Meta Mucil

I checked out this thread hoping to get a chuckle or two out of some interesting names. While there are many truly funny names out there, it seems that several individuals take pride in perpetuating vulgarity in obscure ways. Have you people no morals or shame? I do not think your names are funny at all!! I wish Jagex would clean house and ban those dubiously named accounts. Meta Mucil

You mean like RuneScape Lite??? While your idea makes sense for the player, it does not make any sense for Jagex. If they were to implement such a playing option, the majority of players would jump from P2P to this "lite" version effectively cutting the amount of income they generated in half. From a business perspective this is unacceptable. My advice, pay your $5 and get over it, otherwise, go F2P and enjoy. Meta Mucil

I will have to admit...at lower levels, firemaking is good for all players for cooking low level foods, lighting lanterns, etc. After 65, firemaking seems to be a bust. I know I wont train on it anymore now that I can light my helmet. Perhaps some higher level firemaking skills can be used in conjunction with magic like with the bolt enchanting spell. At certain WC levels, you are able to cast some fire-based spell using your magic. Just a thought. JAGEX could always add banner burning at level 75 and arson at level 90...LOL Meta Mucil

No, you are not the oldest. There are many of us "elders" that are addicted..erm, enjoy Runescape. My wife and I both play. I enjoy it when the yunguns ask what my RS name means. When I tell them, the standard "NO WAY!" is very common followed with "YUCK!, my mom is that old." No matter, welcome to the forums and enjoy! Meta Mucil

This is a great idea!!! I drop all of my frog tokens now because of the uselessness of the frog clothing. All they do is take up bank space just like the other randoms. If these rewards are given a purpose other than vanity, I might just reconsider keeping them around Meta Mucil

But where is the honor in slaughtering a player in the wilderness who does not want to do battle? I understand how the wilderness works and I respect it. If I want to go PKing, then I will do it the way I think it should be done. Issue a challenge and if accepted, fight to the death. If the challenge is declined, I leave the player alone. Any other means of PKing is nothing more than the cowards way of battle. I have tried several times to collect greens and died all but once at the hand of players out for ill gotten loot. I know of a few neighborhoods just like the wilderness...stay out or prepare to die. Meta Mucil
