  1. I dont see the point in getting the ranger boots, it all depends on whether you know how to switch prayers on Jad. Otherwise you have just about the perfect setup.
  2. The GE does not update at the same time each day.
  3. Depending on your stats you can go train range at aviansies, camp there to train your range and you will make a sizable amount of cash. You can use this cash to then chin hence achieving 99 range.
  4. Using nature tabs: 1 token = 400 gp [*:353v3aps]53 essence per trip [*:353v3aps]42 tokens per trip (1 nature tab = 42 tokens) [*:353v3aps]1.262 essence per token (53 ess/42 token) [*:353v3aps]220gp per Nature, 123gp per essence [*:353v3aps]317gp profit per essence (220*2-123) [*:353v3aps]400gp profit per token (317 * 1.262) Using tokens for pure essence: 1 token = 123 gp You have it right on, I dont think I want to convert all my tokens into pure essence as my tabs are better money. I doubt I will be able to finish all my tokens immediately but it will be nice knowing that I can use tabs to make some quick money whenever I am short. I am actually planning on using a lot of my profits on 99 runecrafting on getting 99 summoning. I just think summoning is one of those investments that yields some of the greatest advantages in the game, and I would like to take full advantage of that skill.
  5. I need to do that but right now I am just too lazy. Not quite sure but when really focused I can do up to 70 tabs per hour, which translates to around 8.4k nats. Although long hours of tabbing can often be quite boring so achieving 70 tabs consistently is difficult unless you are very focused. Now quite sure how much profit I made, unfortunately I had to sell a lot of my runes to buy more essence. It's nice to make a lot of profit though, I myself am surprised at the rate of which I am making money at right now. I just yesterday bought an ags so I am playing around with it a bit, my highest spec thus far has been a 63. I highly doubt I keep it for a while seeing as I probably wont be using it for long periods of time. Still I can maybe lend it out to friends or lend it to people to get rid of some the junk that has been accumulated in my bank. It
  6. My goals in order. 1) 99 Runecrafting 2) 99 Summoning (Rock lobsters all the way  ) 3) 99 Prayer I think i will have 99 runecrafting in around a month or so, I will be playing nearly 6 hours a day to get that. ;)
  7. I dont graahk so I suppose my opinion on this is pretty much useless. But I will say this I dont see how leaving it behind will raise the amount of natures you make. Here is what i do: 1) Withdraw essence from bank. 2) Fill Giant (12), Medium (6) and Small (3) pouches with essence. 3) Withdraw essence from bank. 4) Fill Large (9) pouch with essence. 5) Fill familiar with essence. *This step is skipped since you are graahking* 6) Withdraw essence from bank. 7) Teleport Now here is what you do if you leave behind the small pouch. 1) Withdraw essence from bank. 2) Fill Giant (12) and Medium (6) pouches with essence. 3) Withdraw essence from bank. 4) Fill Large (9) pouch with essence. 5) Fill familiar with essence. *This step is skipped since you are graahking* 6) Withdraw essence from bank. 7) Teleport In essence you spend nearly the same amount of time banking, all you are skipping is one click, yes it only takes 1 click to fill your small pouch. Now this is what I do when I craft. 1) Craft the essence in your inventory. 2) Empty Giant (12), Medium (6) and Small (3) pouches and craft the essence. 3) Empty familiar (again not applicable when graahking) and empty large (9) pouch and craft the essence 4) Teleport Out. Now here is what you do when you leave behind the small pouch. 1) Craft the essence in your inventory. 2) Empty Giant (12) and Medium (6) pouches and craft the essence. 3) Empty familiar (again not applicable when graahking) and empty large (9) pouch and craft the essence 4) Teleport Out. Again it simply takes one right click and a left click to empty your small pouch. If someone has proven (with carefully controlled tests) that small pouches are better then I will be willing to look at it but right now I would say that small pouch is definately worth carrying.
  8. According to current prices, around 7 million. I take it that you will be using a graahk?
  9. Just thought I would update you guys on my most recent achievement. Unfortunately I missed the picture with the level because I was very excited to tell my friends. #-o Anyway now comes the most difficult part, 99 runecrafting. I will be doing nature tabs all the way till 99 runecrafting. I still have 800k tokens banked. To get here I did approximately: 25k laws (427 tabs) 350k astrals (I think around 3k tabs? Not quite sure) 150k bloods (2013 tabs)
  10. I will go for the most efficient method as long as it isnt extremely boring or requires far too much attention. There are times when I train when I know it may not be the best experience but it is atleast fun.
  11. I once failed the agility shortcut in the abyss 7 times before finally passing (thankfully you dont take damage). But yes those stick traps in elf lands are far far worse.
  12. You have to be living under a rock if you think there weren't big changes to RS, trade restrictions, no pking were MAJOR changes to the game and this even affected F2P, RS today is NOT the same game I was playing two years ago at all. The only way these changes could not have affected you is if you were a very new beginner player, I mean who doesn't notice the trade limits :shame: This is where I think there is a huge divide between F2P and P2P. F2P is barely updated and people there are starved for any updates or any changes. So basically F2P is more welcoming to changes. Members experience first hand changes and continuous tweaks to gameplay, and because of this we can also see that not all change is positive. If you are in F2P you will see a lot of unhappy ex-member's. F2P is a horrible limited version of the game, going from members to F2P is not fun, but because of gameplay changes a lot of people have quit from members. Those logging onto F2P are usually just logging on to chat, wcing etc. are secondary activities for them. Also you claim to have played since beginning of RS2 and your account is horrible. I could train to those skill levels in less than ONE month playing less than THREE HOURS PER WEEK. Basically your account seems like you put in 12 hours of actual gameplay... and then you say, game play is great! Those people you bashed probably put in 1000's of hours of gamePLAY. Whose opinion would I listen to?Clearly you barely play the game, you might be one of those social players. If you are using RS just as a chat room than you would care less about gamePLAY changes. To get a feel for gamePLAY changes you actually have to PLAY the game. Lame excuse. It costs less than watching a two hour movie to pay for ONE month of membership. No one says you have to be members forever or play everyday or more than you do now. It's your choice to limit yourself. I think if you had members and actually PLAYED the game. You would be complaining, instead of sitting there smugly saying "I like RS it's great." Who didn't think this til they were about combat lvl 75? It's easy to love the GE in F2P because it actually WORKS there. In members it's more complex, and it's irritating to not be able to buy items. In F2P no new items are ever introduced, so you have no experience of the frustration in trying to buy OR SELL new items whose prices are not set by players but by Jagex and the GE. For F2P the Ge meant your resources sell instantly, of course this is wonderful. In P2P there are so many unique items, and I've had things that I try to sell for weeks that just NEVER EVER sell. There is tonnes of junk floating through P2P that has value they aren't just worth 1 or 2 gp that you can throw away but they just have no market. F2P has much less junk that doesn't sell. This is but one example of an update that affects F2P positively but isn't so great on P2P. As for the agility rest update. For F2P you did get something, even if run energy also reduces twice as fast. But for P2P this update essentially nerfed the agility skill ; energy pots ; terrorbirds etc. As there is no need for these anymore. And agility does have some uses, but not as much as before this update. I think nerfing a very boring skill that some people trained to 99 is a huge problem, 99 agility players aren't even compensated by infinite run which would be fair I think. Basically from your experience, RS is great and RS works well. However the F2P game is so simple. Your very limited experience as a F2P player can't be compared to members which is more complex and where updates sometimes aren't always positive. First of all I must say, why does it matter whether she provoked them or not? I felt that they had no right to make abusive and hurtful comments to her regardless of what she might have done to provoke them into saying it. You have completely mistaken the point of her post and turned your reply into a rant in itself. Your post is rubbish it does nothing to address the real point of this thread which was the whole age issue (which is so rediculous by the way) and the way they attacked her based on her sexual preference (they should have kept their homophobic attitude to themselves). In short their behaviour was unacceptable, it is irrelevant what she thinks of the updates or the time she put into the game. Every single player has a right to not be abused in this game, Jagex has set up rules to make sure that such behaviour is not tolerated. Whether they spent 1000s of hours playing this game or not I would rather listen to her opinion than a bunch of homophobes. EDIT: Just saw your thread in rants, and no wonder you seem to have taken the sides of these whiners, seeing as you are a whiner as well. I normally hate to flame but in this case if you are going to take the stance that you are taking, you deserve all the hate that you can get.
  13. This. I may be missing something but i dont see why this matters, Verac's special simply ignones armour and prayer so it would have the same effect on the person with 99 defence as the person with 84.
  14. I have not completed the varrock diaries so I have no idea about the battlestaves but I can vouch for MTK. The good thing about MTK is you simply put your money in and show up 5-6 days later and collect a free 500k profit by doing nothing but investing 7.5mil into your kingdom. The best combo is 10 fish and 5 flax I think, totally worth doing as everything gathered by your subjects is directly sent to your bank. So you just show up refill your coffers and collect your items.
  15. They are not active at all, I have crafted laws and there is not much activity there except for a few people who come to request assists sometimes. I wouldnt bother with runners you wont get any as there are better moneymaking options for them available at FFDN (Fast Free Double Natures). I would suggest if you want to train is to try ZMI, profit making at 68 runecrafting is honestly not worth the time you spend. Go for the best experience and at 82 you make a very good 400k-500k/hr on astrals. But up until then you should probably do ZMI.
  16. The amount of charms that they drop make them a very worthwhile task.
  17. Yes definately get a whip, despite having the money to get any godsword in the game (the only one I am considering buying is sgs) I still stick to my whip because it is undoubtedly better in many aspects.
  18. I believe using teleports significantly increases your speed, it should only be one space though because you are using a water staff and you can use the essence you craft into air runes to teleport to Falador. I still feel that anything besides runecrafting tabs in f2p is not worth it.
  19. World 24 is always so full, I think the reason why you are not seeing enough people is because they are in game.
  20. Well its nice to see that while I runecraft my life away, some level 78 just got rich from one trip to the party room. Am I jealous? Maybe. Am I bitter? Definately.
  21. I would say go with a money maker that you can profit with in the long run as well. I see you have a decent runecrafting level, so why not try and do that. It will be slower right now but when you start to hit double astrals/nats the money will be quite good. And you get to train a skill in the process as well.
  22. Even if the Penguins win Game 6 I dont think they have what it takes to win at the Joe. I like to remain optimistic but I dont see the Penguins winning.
  23. What bank all are you talking about? like i no the button in the bank and all but dont u need to carry tele runes for the teleport back outside of it. You will fill your bank with junk so that your bank is full, thus you can only deposit items that there are multiples of in your bank. So if you do not have multiples of your teleport runes or the rune that you are using as payment you can easily click the bank all option and you are on your way. I have never used ZMI to train runecrafting another alternative is if you enjoy the GOP minigame, just get some tokens buy some tabs and craft laws.
  24. Just discovered the off topic forum and I didnt know there was thread about the NHL. Growing up here in Canada in a big hockey market like Toronto has made me a huge hockey fan. Just came to chime in that I am overjoyed at the success that these young Penguins have been having. I dont think I can call myself a fan of the Pens as that would be unfair to the Penguins fans who stuck it out during the years of possible relocation, bankruptcy and all around terrible hockey. But I really like these Penguins, I am a pretty big Crosby fan, even though the majority look at him at him as a whiny little brat. -.- In case you are wondering I am a Cup starved (And recently playoff starved :wall: ) Leafs fan, my favourite player in the league is Joe Thornton and my all time favourite player is Wendel Clark.
