  1. I havent heard much about tanning for a long time now, which means it is probably no longer a good money maker. And your avatar is awful, the Sens suck, 13 place in the East and going no where anytime soon. Lol just kidding, I hate the Sens but its nice to meet another hockey fan that comes on here.
  2. I would say the best way would be to use a particularly good money making skill in runecrafting, at the moment you dont have the stats to go to GWD or do any form of boss hunting. I might also suggest killing aviansies as they are pretty good profit and the range experience is not too bad either.
  3. I am all 95 strength, 90 Attack and 85 Defence and I use Sumona, trust me you dont want to do Duradel, he will keep giving you these, Metals (Irons and Steels mostly), Hellhounds, Fire Giants, Greaters, Kalphites and Black Dragons. I did 35 straight tasks of Duradel and all he gave me were those. I dont think it will be a efficient use of time if you use Duradel either way, though my point is you arent missing out on much.
  4. Since you are f2p, your best bet for making money while getting a 99 is probably woodcutting (Mining is painful). You can chose a faster way which makes less money in willows or you can chose yews which provide you with more money.
  5. Two Eight Seven I must say I really enjoyed reading this rant of yours, mainly because I usually hang around the "Help and Advice" forum and everytime I see a training topic, I see the usual "Train with slayer" comments, with 4 people saying it is the best experience simply due the fact that you are training one extra skill. But most people dont think about the "At what cost am I training the other skill?" part. I often dont attempt to disagree with these individuals because I know I am going to get flamed incessantly for pointing out a major flaw in a skill that is beloved to almost all. I have disliked slayer ever since I started doing it simple because I hate moving from one spot to another, it is waste of time to me and that is not including the time that it takes to visit the slayer masters (Not everyone uses Lunar). Additionally I will admit that I have never cared about my total level, I do skills based on whether I like them or not and I try to give each skill a fair chance to grow on me. I have given slayer that chance but it has never been as good as most people on here told me it would be. Either way I applaud you for a very good post, it was a good read to say the least.
  6. There was also a new stronghold added with new monsters (roaches). Lumbridge Achievement Diary (Explorer Ring- Extremely useful effects) I think thats the only thing I can add to Dark Aura's list
  7. dam. You didnt belive him did you? All level 3 clue scrolls have the same chance at a drop regardless of difficulty or length.
  8. Problem is nobody is going to tell you what to merchant because then a lot of people will join in and then there will be more competition. Unfortunately you will have to search for it on your own. I really apologize that I am discouraging you but I doubt many people will tell you what they are merchanting. Good luck!
  9. The majority of the experience from farming will come from harvesting (Picking), and you will need a magic secateurs for that obtained in Fairy Tale Part 1 I believe to maximize your yield from your plants. When harvesting you will get more than one product like say if you are planting potatoes, you will get like 10 potatoes for every successful harvest which is a lot more xp. The planting xp will be the same, i.e. only 8xp. but the harvesting will give you a lot more. And to the person that said "Try it out", if you are not willing to provide help then why are you even here.
  10. Ok first get 70 strength, then buy a whip and use controlled to train all your skills. I would also consider upgrading to barrows as that will help you progress to the better training spots. And do consider training controlled, many of us have messed up and trained strength to high levels because it was the cool thing to do at the time. But right now you have an oppurtunity to save some time and avoid using a weapon like a d scimy. Another thing swap the strength amulet for a glory. So I would go with something like this. Oh yes and you might want to swap the Berserker for a Neitiznot (just requires one quest). Get a whip though after you hit 70 strength, that is a must have.
  11. Yes they are crashing right now but these things go with the hype, if you want one make sure it is a price you can affordably pay for. Just try and buy them when you think they cannot go lower.
  12. Now this is not meant to jump in and bash you but why do you hate Kent so much? And to the person that actually said something about post count, stop making such accusations as they are usually false and dont really make sense. I realize that some people like to think that post count is the cruise control to popularity but in this case there was no reason to bring it up.
  13. 75 minutes is just an estimate, you might have to wait longer or shorter.
  14. Be sure to make sure that both burners are lit though, the owner will make sure they are, so just wait till they light them before you use up your bones. Especially with dragon bones you can lose a lot of xp if you dont make sure that both burners are lit.

I read that Sir Hemen has a guide on prayer switching, I would suggest looking at it. Always check the AOW though, that section is the most useful section on the site.
  16. I find if you do your clues for fun and I nice break from a slayer task that the pitiful rewards a lot easily managed plus as you get more used to them, you can finish them a lot faster, making a decent profit out of doing them.
  17. Ok I will say something first, kids will always be kids, often the best solution is to simply not deal with them at all. I do have a problem with supposedly older people who whenever they get into a debate with another person, often take things personally and attack others for their views. After drawing a few more people into this arguement, a perfectly normal conversation becomes a flame war with childish bickering. Yes the same supposedly mature people are out there flaming others and calling each other names. Such is a community that we have guys, tif is no longer anything but another representation of the RS community. I remember we use to value ourselves on being different than most of the community and back then we werent wrong but now days, there is no difference between us and the same majority of the RS community we used to laugh at back in the day. You may call out the kids as annoying but I find that i can forgive them a lot faster than the ones that actually understand the meaning of their insults.
  18. My point is that you chose the side with the 18 max hit. If you want to be more effective, you pay for membership. In my opinion free players don't deserve anything more. They merely mooch off the game that members support. I don't care one whit about the advert argument, it's not nearly the same. Also, when I said you had access to every weapon, I mean that once you have the money and have finished the quest to wield it (if applicable), you can use it. A free player who has hundreds of millions can't use a godsword, etc. Please do explain why it does not apply, the adverts do make money. And who are you to decide that it is members support, you are paying money to Jagex, it is their money after you have paid it and they can use it any way they wish to. If you dont like it, then dont pay but dont tell Jagex what to do with their money. I dont flame any member and I know it came off that way, dont take it personally.
  19. Those gloves are awesome, consider getting them, they are pretty useful for the teleport alone. You may think the requirements a lot but they are really not, its just frustrating to walk around the whole island more than a few times.
  20. The only mistake that you shouldnt make is training something that you dont want, so leave you prayer and defence alone until you know for sure what you are going to be. Remember you can only go forward with a pure and there is no going back, if you train those prayer levels, maybe sometime in the future you will regret it. So just leave it alone for now and it will help you make the best descision.
  21. I strongly suggest training range as well, it wont give you any combat levels, only give you the HP levels which are a blessing.
  22. It is a good post but if you had done this it would have a lot easier to read.
  23. Disagree with that, almost everybody has Neitiznot now, the amount of annoying 12 year olds has not decreased though.
